Abstract:Given a pair of (real or complex) Lie algebroid structures on a vector bundle $A$ (over $M$) and its dual $A^*$, and a line bundle $\module$ such that $\module\otimes\module=(\wedge^{\TOP} A^*\otimes\wedge^{\TOP} T^*M)$, there exist two canonically defined differential operators $\bdees$ and $\bdel$ on $\sections{\wedge A\otimes\module}$. We prove that the pair $(A,A^*)$ constitutes a Lie bialgebroid if, and only if, the square of $\bdirac =\bdees+\bdel$ is the multiplication by a function on $M$. As a consequence, we obtain that the pair $(A,A^*)$ is a Lie bialgebroid if, and only if, $\bdirac$ is a Dirac generating operator as defined by Alekseev & Xu \cite{AlekseevXu}. Our approach is to establish a list of new identities relating the Lie algebroid structures on $A$ and $A^*$ (Theorem \ref{Thm:C}).

Abstract:Given a finite group G, a central subgroup H of G, and an operator space X equipped with an action of H by complete isometries, we construct an operator space $X_G$ equipped with an action of G which is unique under a `reasonable' condition. This generalizes the operator space complexification $X_c$ of $X$. As a linear space $X_G$ is the space obtained from inducing the representation of H to G (in the sense of Frobenius).

Abstract:On the generalized tangent bundle of a smooth manifold, we study skew-symmetric endomorphism satisfying an arbitrary polynomial equation with real constant coefficients. We study the compatibility of these structures with the de Rham operator and the Courant-Dorfman bracket. In particular we isolate several conditions that when restricted to the motivating example of generalized almost complex structure are equivalent to the notion of integrability.

Abstract:In this paper we develop the generalised Schur theory offered in the recent paper by the second author in dimension one case, and apply it to obtain two applications in different directions of algebra/algebraic geometry. The first application is a new explicit parametrisation of torsion free rank one sheaves on projective irreducible curves with vanishing cohomology groups. The second application is a commutativity criterion for operators in the Weyl algebra or, more generally, in the ring of ordinary differential operators, which we prove in the case when operators have a normal form with the restriction top line (for details see Introduction). Both applications are obtained with the help of normal forms. Namely, considering the ring of ordinary differential operators $D_1=K[[x]][\partial ]$ as a subring of a certain complete non-commutative ring $\hat{D}_1^{sym}$, the normal forms of differential operators mentioned here are obtained after conjugation by some invertible operator ("Schur operator"), calculated using one of the operators in a ring. Normal forms of commuting operators are polynomials with constant coefficients in the differentiation, integration and shift operators, which have a restricted finite order in each variable, and can be effectively calculated for any given commuting operators.

Abstract:Let g be either a basic classical Lie superalgebra or gl(m,n) over the field of complex numbers C . For any associative, commutative, and finitely generated algebra A with unity, we consider the loop Lie superalgebra g⊗A . In [11] , Rao defined a class of central operators for g⊗A and conjectured that these central operators, which generalizes the classical Gelfand invariants, generate the algebra U(g⊗A)g for g=gl(m,n) . In this article we prove this conjecture and we also give a spanning set for U(g⊗A)G where g is the orthosymplectic Lie superalgebra and G is the corresponding orthosymplectic supergroup.

Abstract:We study the existence of generalized complex structures on the six-dimensional sphere $\mathbb S^6$. We work with the generalized tangent bundle $\mathbb T\mathbb S^6\to \mathbb S^6$ and define the integrability of generalized geometric structures in terms of the Dorfman bracket. Specifically, we prove that there is not a direct way to induce a generalized complex structure on $\mathbb S^6$ from its usual nearly Kähler structure inherited from the octonions product.

Super Kähler structures on the complex Abelian Lie supergroups

Abstract:We consider a real Abelian Lie supergroup $G$ acting on its complexification $M$, equipped with a $G$-invariant super Kähler form. We extend the scheme of classical geometric quantization to this setting and construct a unitary $G$-representation. We show that the occurrences of its irreducible subrepresentations are governed by the image of the moment map of the super Kähler form. As an application, we construct a Gelfand model of $G$, namely a unitary $G$-representation in which every unitary irreducible representation occurs exactly once.

Abstract:The notion of a generalized Lie bialgebroid (a generalization of the notion of a Lie bialgebroid) is introduced in such a way that a Jacobi manifold has associated a canonical generalized Lie bialgebroid. As a kind of converse, we prove that a Jacobi structure can be defined on the base space of a generalized Lie bialgebroid. We also show that it is possible to construct a Lie bialgebroid from a generalized Lie bialgebroid and, as a consequence, we deduce a duality theorem. Finally, some special classes of generalized Lie bialgebroids are considered: triangular generalized Lie bialgebroids and generalized Lie bialgebras.

Abstract:The universal Baxter operator is an element of the Archimedean spherical Hecke algebra H(G,K), K be a maximal compact subgroup of a Lie group G. It has a defining property to act in spherical principle series representations of G via multiplication on the corresponding local Archimedean L-factors. Recently such operators were introduced for G=GL_{\ell+1}(R) as generalizations of the Baxter operators arising in the theory of quantum Toda chains. In this note we provide universal Baxter operators for classical groups SO_{2\ell}, Sp_{2\ell} using the results of Piatetski-Shapiro and Rallis on integral representations of local Archimedean L-factors.

Abstract:We introduce a wide subclass ${\cal F}(X,\omega)$ of quasi-plurisubharmonic functions in a compact Kähler manifold, on which the complex Monge-Ampère operator is well-defined and the convergence theorem is valid. We also prove that ${\cal F}(X,\omega)$ is a convex cone and includes all quasi-plurisubharmonic functions which are in the Cegrell class.

Abstract:We study integrability of generalized almost contact structures, and find conditions under which the main associated maximal isotropic vector bundles form Lie bialgebroids. These conditions differentiate the concept of generalized contact structures from a counterpart of generalized complex structures on odd-dimensional manifolds. We name the latter strong generalized contact structures. Using a Boothby-Wang construction bridging symplectic structures and contact structures, we find examples to demonstrate that, within the category of generalized contact structures, classical contact structures have non-trivial deformations. Using deformation theory of Lie bialgebroids, we construct new families of strong generalized contact structures on the three-dimensional Heisenberg group and its co-compact quotients.

Abstract:We give several equivalent characterizations of orthogonal subbundles of the generalized tangent bundle defined, up to B-field transform, by almost product and local product structures. We also introduce a pure spinor formalism for generalized CRF-structure and investigate the resulting decomposition of the de Rham operator. As applications we give a characterization of generalized complex manifolds that are locally the product of generalized complex factors and discuss infinitesimal deformations of generalized CRF-structures.

Abstract:We generalize Lie bialgebras and Lie bialgebroids to new objects which we call generalized Lie bialgebras. Similar to Lie bialgebras and Lie bialgebroids, generalized Lie bialgebras are self-dual and generate canonically Hamiltonian structures on their representative spaces. We show that for a generalized Lie bialgebra (E, (E) over bar), a pair (L-1, L-2) of E + (E) over bar is again a generalized Lie bialgebra iff (L-1, L2) is a Dirac structure pair. Construction of generalized Lie bialgebras by using Poisson tensors and Hamiltonian operators are also discussed in detail and an example relating to an infinite-dimensional integrable system is given.

Abstract:In this paper, we extend constructions and results for the Taylor complex to the generalized Taylor complex constructed by Herzog. We construct an explicit DG-algebra structure on the generalized Taylor complex and extend a result of Katthän on quotients of the Taylor complex by DG-ideals. We introduce a generalization of the Scarf complex for families of monomial ideals, and show that this complex is always a direct summand of the minimal free resolution of the sum of these ideals. We also give an example of an ideal where the generalized Scarf complex strictly contains the standard Scarf complex. Moreover, we introduce the notion of quasitransverse monomial ideals, and prove a list of results relating to Golodness, Koszul homology, and other homological properties for such ideals.

Torsor structure of level-raising operators

Abstract:We consider families of reductive complexes related by level-raising operators and originating from an associative algebra. In the main theorem it is shown that the multiple cohomology of that complexes is given by the factor space of products of reduction operators. In particular, we compute explicit torsor structure of the genus $g$ multiple cohomology of the families of horizontal complexes with spaces of of canonical converging reductive differential forms for a $C_2$-cofinite quasiconformal strong-conformal field theory-type vertex operator algebra associated to a complex curve. That provides an equivalence of multiple cohomology to factor spaces of products of sums of reduction functions with actions of the group of local coordinates automorphisms.

Abstract:We show that a bi-flat F-structure $(\nabla,\circ,e,\nabla^*,*,E)$ on a manifold $M$ defines a differential bicomplex $(d_{\nabla},d_{E\circ\nabla^*})$ on forms with value on the tangent sheaf of the manifold. Moreover, the sequence of vector fields defined recursively by $d_{\nabla}X_{(\alpha+1)}=d_{L\nabla^*}X_{(\alpha)}$ coincide with the coefficients of the formal expansion of the flat local sections of a family of flat connections $\nabla^{GM}$ associated with the bi-flat structure. In the case of Dubrovin-Frobenius manifold the connection $\nabla^{GM}$ (for suitable choice of an auxiliary parameter) can be identified with the Levi-Civita connection of the flat pencil of metrics defined by the invariant metric and the intesection form.
