Abstract:The title compound, C20H47NO6Si4, was synthesized by per-O-tri-methyl-silylation of N-acetyl-d-glucosa-mine using chloro-tri-methyl-silane in the presence of hexa-methyl-disiloxane. The tri-methyl-silyl group and acetamido group are located on the same side of the pyran ring, showing an α-configuration glycoside. One of the tri-methyl-silyl groups is disordered over two orientations, with site-occupancy factors of 0.625 (9) and 0.375 (9). In the crystal, N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into supra-molecular chains along the a-axis direction.

Abstract:The title compound, C(21)H(17)ClO(6), is optically pure and adopts an R configuration. It was obtained by an organocatalytic asymmetric Michael addition of 4-hydroxy-coumarin with (E)-ethyl 4-(4-chloro-phen-yl)-2-oxobut-3-enoate. The structure consists of a tetra-hydro-pyran unit fused to the coumarin ring ring system. The hydroxyl and phenyl groups are on the same side of the tetra-hydro-pyrane ring. The benzene ring is almost perpendicular to the coumarin ring [dihedral angle of 72.89 (3)°]. In the crystal structure, inter-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds are observed. An intra-molecular O-H⋯O contact also occurs.

Abstract:The title compound, C19H17N3O3S, was synthesized via the reaction of 2-(4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-ylsulfanyl) benzoic acid and aniline in dichloromethane using dicyclohexylcarbodiimide as catalyst. The dihedral angles between the pyrimidine plane and the planes of the two benzene rings are 71.2 (2) and 62.7 (2)degrees; the dihedral angle between the planes of the two benzene rings is 68.4 (4)degrees. The conformation of the compound is U-shaped.

Abstract:The title compound, C19H18BrN3O3, was synthesized by the reaction of 2-methanesulfonyl-4,6-dimethoxypyrimidine and N-(2-bromophenyl)-2-hydroxybenzylamine in tetrahydrofuran. There are three different planes in the molecule, each of which is conjugated. Abstract:The title compound, C(15)H(17)O(6)P, was obtained from a reaction of 4-methyl-7-hy-droxy-coumarin and 2-chloro-5,5-dimethyl-1,3,2-dioxaphosphinane 2-oxide. There are two mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit in which the benzopyran ring system is almost planar [r.m.s. deviation for each molecule = 0.003 Å]. In the crystal, C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking inter-actions [with centroid-centroid distances of 3.743 (3) and 3.727 (3) Å] link the two mol-ecules. The dioxaphospho-rinane ring adopts a chair conformation in both asymmetric molecules.
