Abstract:Recently, the popularity of agent-base systems has increased rapidly because agents bring intelligence, reasoning and autonomy to software systems. As a result, researching on agent-oriented system analysis is paid much attention to. According to the characteristic of agent-based system, an UML-based agent-oriented system analysis approach is introduced by applying UML and object-oriented technology. It would also show the detail of analysis process and the representation of the model by giving an instance and extending to UML.

Abstract:The paper introduces the basic steps to create the UML use case model with the Banking Loans System as an example. On the basis of use case model, capture and analysis the system classes from the use case description by grammar analysis. Then through establishing the associations for any two classes creates the class diagram model of the Banking Loans System. Abstract:In order to develop good quality software with reusability and extensibility the design process of object - oriented analysis method based on UML is discussed. The method of modeling embedded system based on UML is introduced by taking ECG recorder for example. Results indicate that UML, which has received new ideas .methods and techniques from software engineering, not only supports object - oriented system analysis and design but also the whole process in software development beginning with requirement analysis. Modeling a software system based on UML is both helpful to communication and maintenance.

Abstract:In order to develop a digital drawing management information system,unified modeling language(UML) technology is applied to the analysis and design of the system.A UML system analysis and design method based on Concurrent Engineering(CE) is proposed at first,then the application of UML to system analysis is shown in UML use case diagram,class diagram,collaboration diagram and state diagram,and the application of UML to system development is shown in code creation and database creation.The successful implementation of the system demonstrates that the proposed method can analyze and design the system in a satisfactory way.

Abstract:Objected-oriented based software analysis and design with visual modeling (OOVM) has become a mature technology, meanwhile, the Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a diagrammatic notation widely taught in universities as a way to represent software requirements specifications and design descriptions. We address a whole process of software system analysis and design by objected oriented methodologies, and identify several problems in teaching software system analysis and design with visual modeling by UML. A meta-model of Medical Assistant Diagnosis Support System (MADSS) in UML is offered, and complete integration of OOVM concepts is also discussed.

Abstract:E-commerce systems have been changing the tradition l business activities through the Internet.This paper presents formal use of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to analyze and design e-commerce systems by using an online ticketing system as case study.An e-commerce system can be seen as a client-server system in which server maintains some information and provides searching function to client.However, for an e-commerce system, we also need to consider two specific functions for booking products and carrying out payment trans action.We demonstrate how to use the formalization of UML given in [9,10 ] in formal specification of the system functional requirements, safety and liveness constraints, and in verification of the correctness of the design.

Abstract:Abstract This paper firstly introduces the main content of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and proves that it can transmit information among the users, the developers, the designers and the managers efficiently, which improves their collaboration capabilities and greatly increases the degree of industrialization in software development projects. Secondly, a library management system development and design is carried out, based on UML modeling mechanism to analyze a simple library management system. Thirdly, a demand analysis mode of the management system is built with the help of a case diagram and an analysis diagram after analysis of a simple library management system, using UML modeling mechanism. Then a book lending management subsystem has been designed in the library management system by a design class diagram and a sequence diagram. The design process indicates that as a modeling language of software engineering, UML has a very good application prospect.
