Principle and Applicitions of Multi-agent Developing System Swarm in Power System

Abstract:Based on the complicated adaptability theory, SWARM is able to effectively simulate dynamic action and information interaction of many various objects, and it can adapt different complex, open and distributed system due to many fine characteristics such as independence, distributing, corresponding, studying and consequence ability about multi agent technology. The paper introduces the basic structure and modeling methods of SWARM, discusses its possible applications in power systems. In power system, multi agent technology is applied to many fields like static stability analysis, system default and protection, system optimization and load forecast, system control and information integration, power market etc. On the basis of resumptive introduction of practical applications of multi agent technology in power systems, the power supply load balance problem is solved with SWARM.
