On the Key Points of Public Hospital Reform in China

Abstract:The key points of public hospital reform in China are:(1) to facilitate public hospitals to focus on patient value; (2) to build an integrated medical care system in which public hospitals at different levels provide services at different points in the care cycle; (3) to differentiate the price of medical care and copayment of medical insurance according to the level of public hospitals to create incentives for patients to select hospitals and physicians rationally; (4) to improve the internal management and external supervision of public hospitals.
