Abstract:This paper describes a data acquisition and display system based on LabVIEW platform and AT89S51 Microcontroller, which communicate with each other via RS232 interface, using user-defined communication protocol to ensure communication efficiency and stability. The system adopts MAX197 A/D converter, which acquires 0～+ 10V voltage signals through 6 analog input channels with 12-bit resolution. And the MCU is programmed with Assembly Language. LabVIEW carries out the management tasks, including the data acquisition control, Serial Port Communication control, display and storage of available data. The system, which has low cost and good performance, has been tested and reflects easy operation, good stability and reliability.

Abstract:A portable quantitative detector is designed for methane gas with thermal catalytic sensor.The detector based on MSP430 consists of analog signal regulation,human-machine interface,data storage and communication module.It can detect the gas concentration conveniently and in real time,and be configured by the buttons.The result can be displayed by LED and be saved in EEPROM at the same time.The result also can be transmitted to PC via UART for data storage and management.The detector has the functions of sound and light alarm,voltage monitoring,real-time display with the features of small size,high sensibility,quick response and portable,it can be used for multi-gas measurement by adjusting some data.

Abstract:A new sensor data recording system applied in the industrial field is designed.The hardware uses the high resolution,wide dynamic range 16 bit ∑-Δ chip AD7705 to acquire the sensor data,AD7705 links the microcontroller S3C2440A by SPI bus.Its software uses Linux as embedded operating system,and graphical programming language QT is chosen to design the application.The system is applied to the auto spring elastic testing system,acquiring directly the elastic sensor data,real-time displaying and controlling through the touch screen,meeting completely the high precision demands in the industrial field,having high engineering value in the other fields such as environmental monitoring.

Abstract:Lamb wave gas sensor has broad industrial application prospects in gas sensing due to its advantages of high sensitivity,low loss and multi-mode characteristic. However,Lamb wave gas sensor is now still in fundamental academic research period. Experiments concerning the sensor are implemented by network analyzers,which means that gas properties cannot be determined automatically but by manual operation. This limits the applications of Lamb wave gas sensor. In this paper,a specified data acquisition instrument designed for Lamb wave gas sensor was developed. The direct digital synthesizer technology and an embedded system were introduced to obtain the information of the amplitude-frequency and phase-frequency of Lamb wave gas sensor. Maximum peaks of all Lamb wave modes were determined by a multi-peak fast search algorithm. To verify the effectiveness of the data acquisition instrument,frequency sweep experiment and algorithm verifi-cation experiment were carried out under different modes. The experimental results show that the data acquisi-tion instrument can accurately acquire the frequency characteristics of Lamb wave gas sensor and the informa-tion of multiple peaks in a certain frequency range. Then,combining with the models of Lamb wave gas sens-ing,it can directly output parameter measurement results,and achieve automatic detection of gas parameters.

Abstract:In the proposed Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC), the silicon pixel vertex detector demands high spatial resolution, low power consumption and minimal material budget, posing significant challenges in chip design and detector fabrication. TaichuPix series chips, based on CMOS technology, were specifically designed for the CEPC vertex detector. The first full-size engineering chips, TaichuPix-3, were utilized in the development of the vertex detector prototype. To test and investigate the performance of the chips and the prototype of the vertex detector in beam experiments, a dedicated data acquisition system was developed. Based on the JavaFx framework and programmed in Java, the system efficiently manages the electronics configuration, data collection, online data verification, and real-time monitoring of the detector prototype, while also providing a user-friendly graphical interface for run control. Laboratory tests and beam tests have validated the data acquisition system has in terms of functionality and operational stability, confirming that it fully meets the experimental requirements of the silicon pixel vertex detector prototype.

Abstract:A multi-channel data acquisition and control systems has been developed,using high-performance ARM7 processor AT91SAM7SE512 to build the hardware collection platform,using a common sensor interface design ideas to support various types of sensors. This system introduces wireless modules to support the wireless acquisition. The data collected send to the PC via USB for analysis and control. PC use MYSQL database to save data. In addition,PC-side uses the virtual instrument method,can display and monitor real-time data.In the test,the data collected is accurate,the communication process is stable and reliable. This system is a small,low-cost,high-performance data acquisition and control systems,have good market prospects.

Abstract:To address the needs of gas sensitivity performance testing, a multi-channel gas sensor detection system based on an STM32 microcontroller and LabVIEW was designed. This system combines signal acquisition, data processing, date display, and storage into a single unit. The target gases are detected using the sensor array, and the regulated electrical signal is supplied to the MCU. Through the built-in A/D converter, the electrical signal is converted to digital data, which is then evaluated and processed. Finally, the serial communication function is performed in the upper computer to realize the OLED display and dynamic display of the data waveform graph. The test results from the fixed resistance test system error demonstrate that: the system test error between 1.4%–2.0%, to achieve multi-channel gas sensor signal collection and detection, and the design of low cost, good stability, to fulfil the gas sensor detection needs.

Abstract:In this paper, a gas detection system for $2times 2$ MEMS gas sensor array is proposed. It has multiple measurement channels, programmable heating voltage, programmable measurement time, 24-bit digital output with 8-bit accuracy, wide measurement range and high linearity. The chip is realized in SMIC 180 nm complementary metal oxide semiconductor technology with an area of 1.58 mm $times1.66$ mm. The result of the fixed resistance measurement shows that the linearity of the resistance ranges ( $200~Omega $ -200 $text{K}Omega $ , $200~Omega $ -500 $text{K}Omega $ , $200~Omega $ -1 $text{M}Omega $ , $200~Omega $ -2 $text{M}Omega $ , $200~Omega $ -5M $Omega $ , and $200~Omega $ -10M $Omega$ ) are all less than 1% at different measurement time intervals. At 1 s measurement time, the circuit has a wide detectable resistance range ( $200~Omega $ -10 $text{M}Omega$ ), and high linearity of 0.3047%. The experimental results combined with the resistive MEMS gas sensor array show that the circuit has a good detection effect in the gas concentration range (0 ppm-340 ppm), and can even detect the change of gas concentration at a low concentration of 0.1 ppm. Moreover, the system can detect different responses of the same sensor at different heating voltages.

Abstract:In this article, a programmable interface circuit for metal-oxide-semiconductors (MOS) gas sensor array is proposed. Integrated with analog and digital circuits, the interface circuit can realize sensor configuration, signal acquisition, data processing, and recognition results output by embedded with timing and algorithm code. A fully integrated and programmable analog front-end (AFE) circuit is introduced for sensor configuration, such as heating voltage generator, measuring voltage generator, and load resistor selector. A 12-bit SAR ADC supporting multiple channels is used for signal acquisition. Data processing and analysis are completed in a Cortex-M0 processor and recognition results can be output via common digital interfaces. The programmable interface circuit is realized in Nexchip 110 nm embedded flash process platform with an area of $2.53 \times 2.73$ mm. By introducing this interface circuit, an e-nose system with virtualized 16 channels is built up based on four MOS gas sensors and applied in safety monitoring of automotive power lithium batteries. With k-nearest neighbor classification algorithm embedded in the processor, the e-nose system identified gas types of thermal runaway process and output the current state of lithium battery pack with high accuracy.

Abstract:Based on the radio frequency wireless communication technology, a system of multi-sensor data collection is designed and implemented. And it illuminates principle and implementation of this system detailedly. The down position machine uses integrated humidity&temperature sensor SHT71、gas sensor MQ-2 and integrated modulus switch ADC0832 completes the data acquisition, and through wireless receiving and sending module nRF905 wireless transmits the data; the up position machine receives the data by the wireless receiving and sending module nRF905 and transmits to PC for real-time monitoring. This system circuit structure is simple and work is stable and reliable. It changed the way to transmit signal which used line cable direct connection way realization signaling , enhanced the equipment application flexibility enormously and realizes kinds of signal collection.

Abstract:Data acquisition system is increasingly utilized in contemporary gas monitoring applications. The complex nature of the data acquisition system, coupled with its low accuracy and lack of universal adaptability to various sensor types, has hindered its broader adoption. To address these limitations, a universal data acquisition system is proposed in this study. This novel system integrates a heating module, a temperature collection module, and a resistance measurement module onto a single printed circuit board. Accurate temperature control can be achieved by using the heating and temperature collection module. Meanwhile, the data acquisition system facilitates high-precision resistance measurement with a wide measuring range. Furthermore, the universal system is designed to accommodate both flexible and Micro-Electro-Mechanical System-based gas sensors, with the capability of cascading different boards via the RS-485 protocol.

Abstract:In view of the current demand of multi-component gas detection, we develop a multi-component gas detection device base on embedded system. The gas detection module is designed base on TDLAS laser gas detection technology, VCSEL laser and wavelength modulation technology (WMS). VCSEL laser has its advantages of low working current, small volume and high integration, which can effectively reduce the volume and working current of the detection module and improve the integration. WMS can improve the accuracy and sensitivity of the detection module, and enhance the system performance. For data processing, a program is designed by using iMX6 and embedded Linux system, which is used for data processing and result calculation of multi-component gas detection. It can reduce the design complexity of the detection module and improving the applicability of detection module.

Abstract:The charged particle detector array has huge amounts of signal and needs high counting rate.To meet the requirements,a main amplifier and analog-to-digital conversion circuit based on high-speed op-amp chips and ADC chip was designed.A 51-MCU was used to control the circuit of ADC and the USB communication chip.The signals were digitized and uploaded by the MCU-ADC-USB circuit.The whole system has a compact hardware structure and a reasonable controlling software,which meet the design requirements.
