Abstract:The technologies of mechanical computer aided engine ering(CAE) can reduce the time of products,so they play an improtant role in enhancing competitive power of products.But most of traditional CAE technol og ies have not exploited their advantages,because they are limited in environment of single machine of local area network(LAN).In this paper,an Internet based remote manufacturing analysis server system is presented,which combines traditi onal CAE and Internet technologies,provides an environment of design and ana lysis of mechanical products for remote users.In this system,real-time display o f products model on the net can be carried out with Java and VRML language.W ith ASP,ADO,SQL and ODBC technologies,the authors built knowledge-based remote query system for common technologies about mechanical industry.WebCRP technology is applied to realize network computing,which can share computer res ources and transfer some computing tasks.
