Research on biological flue gas desulfurization technology

Abstract:Biological Flue Gas Desulfurization(FGD) with the advantages of low energy consumption,low cost and no pollution has become one of research hot areas.The working mechanism,research and application,development prospect of biological FGD technology at home and abroad were introduced in this paper.The results show that the research key to biological FGD technology lies in looking for the appropriate bacteria,understanding the metabolism pathway and enhancing the desulfurization efficiency.In addition,it proposed to place emphasis on the breeding of high efficiency functional bacteria,molecular genetics research of desulfurizing bacteria and development of biological reactor;meanwhile the industrialization of the technology should be accelerated.
