"Nature" in the Early New Poetry and Contention Between Classical Poetry and New Poetry

Abstract:As soon as the explanation of was born in the beginning of new poetry,it grew quickly and strongly,and finally,it became an important conception in China's new poetry.On the one hand,the early new poets always applied the theory to exoteric a expression and criticism in their letters and articles.On the other hand,the explanation and refutation about the theory is related to some important topics like the contention between classical poetry and new poetry.Firstly,the demonstration of Nature was the verbal place for the contention.Secondly,the debate on writing and making,i.e.,its oppositional transformation to juxtaposition and unification,was integrated into the theory of Nature;at the same time,values were overthrown completely.Thirdly,contention was focused on the debates of rhyme and non-rhyme,Nature and rules and forms.In fact,the core of the contention is the validity of new poetry.The vindicators of new poetry and classical poetry used the same resource but got different conclusion.
