Abstract:In the history, the increase of war and the development of society are synchronous. Violence became the means in order to achieve peace. The ways and the details to achieve are important issues of the Peace Studies. Peace can be divided into the negative and the positive peace. The negative involves the absence of the direct violence, and it tolerates the structure violence; the positive transforms conflict with nonviolence. Peace not only indicates the absence of wars, but also includes a favorable social structure and environment. There is no way to peace, but peace is the only way.

Abstract:Conflict Resolution is a new academic interest in Peace Studies,which focuses more on problem transforming than problem resolving.It explores to change the institution and structure behind the conflicts rather than merely terminate the conflicts in a passive way.Conflicts do not find their origins in human nature but in human tendency to violence acquired through social learning.The concept of structural violence provides a base for conflict resolution: the avoidance of possible violence in the inevitable confrontation.What should be eliminated is violence of all forms,as is indeed the target of the process of conflict resolution.If the principals,ways and skills of conflict resolution can be well maintained,the violent conflicts can be avoided and transformed to some degree,so to be contributive to the construction of a harmonious society.Conflict resolution is an alternative paradigm and a practical way to nonviolence.

Abstract:Since the reform and opening up, China has formulated a series of laws and regulations to guarantee women's equal right to receive education and pursue gender equality in education. The Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee put forward that "the essence of the modernization of state system and state governance system is the modernization of people. The equality and dignity of human nature is the proper meaning of human modernization, which is the consensus of modern civilization. " Gender equality education is the foundation of the development of gender equality, and it is also the top priority of the continuous progress of people's rights and undertakings. This paper will make a simple analysis from the following aspects: the influence of gender inequality on women and society, the significance and principles of gender equality education, the evaluation of existing policies and suggestions for the future.

Abstract:Discourse does not only refer to the words and concepts being expressed,but also denotes the practices of ideology.Sexism discourse reflects the ideas and attitudes which stray away from objective facts and is a part of gender ideology.These ideas and attitudes are intimately related to social culture and are the mirror of inequality of social status between men and women.What the female suffers is the male-centered discourse oppression.The profound reason for this oppression is the male's possession of discourse right,which is also the symbol of economy,politics,law and social structures.Sexism discourse is generated in the patriarchal cultural contexts in which the male dominates and disciplines the discourse,creating signs as well as female signs.Women in such context and discourse are put in disadvantageous positions,defined by men,stipulated by men,depreciated by men and become men's vassals.Divergent gender ideologies are embedded in different cultural,historical,political,economic and social backgrounds.We should analyze and make research on the representation of sexism discourse in combination with expansive social and cultural backgrounds in a global context.Only by sorting out traditional gender discourse can we reconstruct a gender discourse based on the equality between male and female.

Abstract:Gender equality means prohibition of different and unreasonable legal treatment, prohibition of same unreasonable legal treatment, and the different treatment should follow a reasonable standard. The theory of human rights of women offers a theoretical framework, builds international consensus and generates strategy for achieving women's rights. Gender equality is smart economics, which can improve economic efficiency in several ways and improve developmental results. The development of accord on gender equality is an important part of construction of harmonious socialist society. The elimination of discrimination and violation of women is only way to achieve development of accord on gender equality. The protection of rights and interests of women needs support of legal system. A system to protect rights and interests of women can operate effectively through legislation. Gender studies expose situation of gender system, and analyse social mechanisms which lead to emergence and reproduction of a gender system to finally achieve gender equality.

Abstract:Being two general means for protest in social movements,the co-presence of peace and violence becomes a basic feature of anti-globalization movement.While peaceful means always dominates the Movement,the graduate spread of violence leads to more and more anxieties and concern.Peaceful or violent,which is a better means? This issue has brought about debates in all sides of society.In summary,as being decided by the nature of anti-globalization movement,violence may take effect but only within a limited scope and for a short period of time,and is destined to be harmful to the Movement in the long run.Peaceful means,in contrast,will help to promote the anti-globalization movement in a more pertinent and efficient way.

Abstract:Chinese feudal history was characterized and in part sustained by the collaboration between the class-consciousness of cultural tradition and the social hierarchy in reality,which colluded to suppress the demand for equality.However,equality as the desire of the people never stopped the quest for means of realizing itself.In Chinese feudal history,equality was at best a psychological equilibrium achieved through the balance between being oppressed before achieving power and the oppression of others when in power.Central to such equilibrium was a pattern of revenge.

Abstract:Gender equality education is an important aspect of promoting a fair society. The impact of gender equality education on the moral framework of Chinese family-themed movies in the twenty-first century is investigated in this study. Films can be used to question conventional ideas about gender roles and gender stereotypes. They are a strong medium for promoting principles and messages of gender equality. The moral implications of movies can reveal whether or not the Chinese people support the idea of gender equality. The study uses a quantitative methodology, examining several Chinese family-themed movies and gathering information from media sources. Over three days, information from 200 respondents was gathered from media persons using a convenience sampling technique. Smart PLS 3 statistical software was used to evaluate the data (SEM). The results point to a strong influence of gender equality education on how gender roles and family relationships are portrayed in Chinese cinema, with a discernible movement towards more diverse and egalitarian portrayals. Nonetheless, the ethical framework of Chinese family-themed movies is also still being shaped by the influence of conventional cultural values and business considerations. To encourage more inclusive and empowering representations of gender and family in Chinese cinema, the study's conclusion highlights the possibility of gender equality education.

Abstract:Pay equity is not only a manifestation of social behavior but also a reflection of gender attitude. In view of the close interactions between pay equity, gender attitude and cultural value, it is necessary to examine the social-psychological connotations behind the pay equity concept and to seek its theoretical basis and support at the philosophical level. By examining the main ideas in Chinese philosophy, this paper claims that traditional Chinese culture contains rich connotations related to the pay equity concept and the pursuit of gender equality. These ideas can not only shape implicit nondiscriminatory gender attitudes but also inhibit the male superiority and intergroup prejudice through the self-regulation mechanism. The collision between traditional ideological insights and the modern pluralistic society will certainly promote the renewal of gender equity and concomitant changes in social attitude and employment behavior.

Abstract:This research study investigates the issue of gender differences and gender discrimination in the education system of China. Despite advancements in gender equality, subtle forms of bias and discrimination continue to affect students' academic achievements and career prospects. The study aims to examine the extent of gender-based disparities in educational opportunities, outcomes, and experiences among students in China, as well as explore the underlying factors contributing to these disparities. A mixed-methods approach was employed, utilizing surveys, academic records analysis, interviews, and focus group discussions. The research findings reveal the presence of gender differences and bias in various aspects of Chinese education. Female students face challenges in accessing higher education and leadership positions, while encountering discrimination that affects their self-esteem, academic choices, and career aspirations. Male students experience stereotyping and pressure to conform to traditional masculine roles, limiting their potential in non-traditional fields. Addressing these issues requires policy reforms, awareness campaigns, and targeted support for marginalized students. Efforts to promote equal access, challenge gender stereotypes, and foster inclusive educational environments are crucial for a more equitable and empowering educational landscape in China.

Abstract:Interpretations of gender display in advertisement based on Althusser's subject construct theory seem to have exaggerated construct function of advertisement culture so that they neglect active nature of human beings. Advertisement culture is only part of framework by which human beings acquire sense of gender in course of socialization. Abstract:Presently, not only the equality of rights and freedoms is vital, but also the legal consolidation of equality between men and women in the ability to fully use all those rights and freedoms in various spheres of social life, which are guaranteed and ensured by the state. The purpose of this study was to investigate the terms “gender” and “gender equality” in the context of international regulatory documents and Ukrainian legislation on ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men as an integral part of the general rights of a person and a citizen. Among the key research methods were dialectical, logical-legal, and hermeneutic, which helped analyse the terms “gender” and “gender equality” and determine the regulatory framework of documents on ensuring and guaranteeing gender equality of both sexes. Using the comparative method, the compliance of Ukrainian legislation with international standards of gender policy was compared and analysed. This paper presents the results of the characterization and interpretation of the norms of legal documents and legislation regarding their compliance with the principles of gender equality. The essence of terms “gender” and “gender equality” was covered. The main areas of ensuring the equality of men and women, which are guaranteed by Ukrainian and international legislation, were outlined. The need to include in all state programs some measures that ensure gender equality and meet the Sustainable Development Goals was substantiated. It was proved that both at the state and regional levels, it is expedient to conduct various trainings that cover gender aspects and raise awareness among employees to develop a professional gender-sensitive culture of the working environment. Emphasis was placed on the importance of measures to prevent violations of human and citizen rights and freedoms, as well as to ensure gender equality between men and women under martial law. The importance of mandatory prosecution and punishment of the Russian military, guilty of violence against Ukrainian women and men, was emphasized. The results of the study can be used both by scientists who investigate issues of gender equality and discrimination based on gender, and by representatives of state bodies whose sphere of competence includes the implementation of gender equality policy, as well as by students and teachers of law schools, everyone who is interested in issues of gender and equality.
