Survey and Analysis of College Students' Employment Mentality——With Students from South China University of Tropical Agriculture as Subjects in Case Study

Abstract:This paper analyzes a survey of college students'employment mentality,which is one of the subjective factors that account for their difficulties in getting employed. The survey shows that while college students have strengthened consciousness of job-hunting,they tend to have more rational attitude toward and low expectations from job-hunting. The paper therefore suggests that higher education institutions should reinforce their employment counseling both in the contents and in the forms for college students to help them maintain a healthy employment mentality.
