Hierarchical Control of Starting Process for Wet Dual Clutch Transmission Based on Direct-Drive Pump-Controlled Hydraulic Actuator

Abstract:A novel direct-drive pump-controlled actuator is taken as the research object, and a system method of oil charging control is proposed for the filling phase of the wet dual clutch. First, a dynamic model of the clutch hydraulic actuator in the filling phase is established, and the singular perturbation theory is introduced to decouple the mechanical/hydraulic coupling system into an integral series system to achieve the model reduction. Then, based on the reduced-order model, the active disturbance rejection control algorithm is used to obtain the reference trajectory for motor speed. Finally, in order to track the speed reference trajectory and consider the influence of system parameter perturbation and time-varying load, a linear active disturbance rejection controller of speed loop is designed. The feasibility and superiority of the controller are verified by MATLAB/Simulink platform, and compared with the PID algorithm, which is used in industry. The results show that the tracking performance of the speed loop active disturbance rejection controller is better than that of the PID controller, and it has strong robustness to parameter perturbation and load disturbance, and can make the clutch piston reach the specified position.
