New Trends of Development of Marxism in Germany since the Year 2000

Abstract:With the Reunification of Germany,Marxism has abdicated the centre of politics and academic research for their fringe.Studies on Marxism,however,have not fallen back,but rather been activated,especially in the New Age.Researchers in Germany have made a further and thorough study,which has brought forward many new achievements,new thoughts and opinions on Marx's text and thought,Marxism,contemporary social theory,and realistic problems from different perspectives.As a result,in recent years,Marx's thought has been revived by the interest in Marx.That is to say,Germany,home to Marxism,still occupies an important position of studies on Marxism.Although German theorists have different opinions on Marxism and Marx's thought,and some research lacks originality and theoretical depth,our "Project of Theoretical Research and Construction of Marxism" and localization,up-dating,and popularization of Marxism will be greatly inspired by their publication and research of MEGA2,the way they read Marx with MEGA2,and their enthusiasm and effort to rediscover,reinterpretate,and refigure Marx.
