Abstract:In this paper, we conduct research on MOOC and multimedia technology with applications on the contemporary literature teaching in the colleges and universities. Modern and contemporary literature teaching should be recognized is aging, rigid, not adapt to the problems of the times, including floating style of general study, should be noticed and effectively solved. Now all kinds of conferences and activities a lot, all kinds of the quantitative indicators are "forced" people use more energy to fight for topic, research, teaching duty work could instead focus on less. Different school teachers on the same subject if able to communicate more, complement each other, each other will be beneficial to promote the reform of this course. This paper proposes the novel paradigm for the basic education patter for MOOC and multimedia based literature classes that are innovative.

Abstract:The emergence of a global movement calls for a new learning pattern for the twenty-first century,hence,there is a must to transform formal education and activate new learning mode to cope with global challenges.Variety of literature on this topic offers compelling arguments for transforming pedagogy to better support acquisition of twenty-first century skills.However,the problem of how to teach these skills in a best way is largely overlooked.Although experts have already realized the "transmission" or lecture model is highly ineffective for teaching twenty-first century competencies and skills,yet widespread use of this model continues.In spite of worldwide agreement that learners need skills such as critical thinking,effective communication,innovation,and solving problems through negotiation and collaboration,nowadays pedagogy has seldom adapted to address these challenges.So,rethinking pedagogy for the twenty-first century is as crucial as clarifying the new competencies that today’s learners need to develop.This paper,the last chapter of the series of Futures of Learning,discusses the pedagogy and learning environments that may contribute to the development and mastery of twenty-first century competencies and skills,and the advance of learning quality.

Abstract:A lots of Chinese teachers in the secondary school lack broad sight to the outside even today in which the current world is becoming globalized and integrative day by day. They think foreign literature only means to make students comprehend and appreciate the text,so it is unable to undertake such an important role of literary education as the native literature does. But such an idea we know now falls behind the time and the teaching methods of foreign literature in secondary school should be improved. Abstract:As one of the core foreign language courses in colleges and universities, the foreign literature curriculum serves as an important window into foreign cultures that foreign language learners need to understand and absorb. Learning and appreciating foreign literature classics is helpful for foreign language learners to enhance their ability in language application, cultivation of humanistic quality and inter-culture communication ability. As foreign literature curriculum involves such content as foreign social system, ideological system, religious beliefs and others, it is of significance to educate students to adhere to Chinese people’s own belief, cultivating patriotism and establish correct values when two cultures meet. It is the teachers’ job to seek and highlight the key points in ideological and political education in foreign literature teaching, especially when the campaign for integration of ideology and politics into courses is underway. Guided by Xi Jinping thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era. Teachers should implant the Chinese discourse into foreign literature curriculum, teaching students to be virtuous and kind-hearted. This paper intends to illustrate approaches in teaching practices to integrate the Chinese discourse in the new era into foreign literature curriculum, giving a deep thought to the question of how to cultivate men.

Abstract:This paper,based on the results of an extensive study regarding the teaching of English for non-English major graduate students in China, raises some issues calling for attention and identifies some areas for research and reform.Efforts should be made in:(1)reforming the traditional knowledge- oriented teaching approach and stressing the development of the students'ability in language use; (2)advocating learner-centeredness and experiential learning and encouraging learner autonomy;(3) taking full advantage of the modern facilities for teaching and tapping the learner potential;(4) emphasizing quality education and improving the students'ability in logical thinking;(5)improving the quality of the teaching staff;and(6)properly handling the relationship between teaching and testing and introducing a scientific evaluation system.

Abstract:In the Chinese language and literature major of ordinary universities, foreign literature is the degree course and core backbone course, as well as an important battlefield for carrying out ideological and political education in courses. In the teaching process, teachers must integrate ideological and political elements from both domestic and foreign perspectives, into the teaching process and content of foreign literature from a cross-cultural perspective, to achieve a diverse unity of value shaping, knowledge transmission, and ability cultivation, and fully appreciate the educational value of foreign literature courses. Based on this, this article first analyzes the necessity of ideological and political construction in foreign literature courses, and then based on the author’s practical experience, explores the path of ideological and political practice in foreign literature courses in universities in the new era from different perspectives, aiming to provide reference for the promotion of ideological and political education in courses and the implementation of foreign literature teaching.

Abstract:Foreign literature teaching materials are important channels for Chinese students to expand their literary literacy and understand foreign literature knowledge. Since the reform and opening up, many kinds of foreign literature textbooks have been published in our country, but the quality is not uniform, it can be said that the excellent teaching materials are not many, some textbooks are wrong, and some teaching materials have old views. With the development of economy and the increasing degree of national self-confidence, colleges and universities are required to respond to the Chinese cultural perspective in the process of interpreting foreign literature textbooks, re-examine the compilation of teaching materials, and highlight the views of tolerance, innovation, pioneering and integration under the perspective of Chinese culture. This paper will make a comprehensive analysis from three aspects: the achievements of foreign literature teaching materials construction, the problems of foreign literature teaching materials compilation, and the interpretation of foreign literature teaching materials based on the view of Chinese culture, in order to promote the development of Chinese literature teaching materials compilation.

Abstract:In view of the key role of translation talents in economic and social development, cultural translation teaching in the process of university English education occupies a very important position in foreign language courses. To further innovate the cultural translation teaching in the process of university English education is not only a realistic orientation to meet the needs of national talents, but also an inherent requirement to improve the school’s reputation in the social field and the world, and an inevitable way to conform to the trend of the times. However, reviewing the current situation of cultural translation teaching in the process of university English education in China will find that the current university English translation teaching concept is relatively vague and the teaching method is relatively simple, which is a major difficulty that hinders Chinese cultural translation teaching. In response to this, four practical paths are proposed, including introducing translation theories, constructing new teaching models, innovating and expanding teaching methods, and improving teachers’ translation ability, in order to provide a theoretical reference for the continuous optimization of Chinese cultural translation teaching in university English education.

Abstract:With the continuous promotion and development of Chinese around the world, increasingly foreign students come to China to learn Chinese. What they have learned is not only language skills but also the culture behind the language, because language and culture are integrated and inseparable. The purpose of this paper is to explore the teaching research of the teaching mode of using deep learning in contemporary literature courses in colleges and universities. This paper firstly introduces the distance and open education, which refers to a new type of education that uses modern teaching information technology to organize classroom teaching and deliver teaching content under the guidance of the concept of openness. The biggest difference between distance and open education and traditional education lies in the location and method of teaching. Then, the teaching of deep learning theory is explained, and the optimization algorithm of teaching and learning and the problem of education optimization are expounded. The algorithm successfully simulates the process of teachers passing professional knowledge to students and students’ self-learning professional knowledge. Finally, the teaching of modern and contemporary literature courses is investigated and analyzed. The results of this experimental survey show that more than 40% of the learners believe that modern and contemporary culture courses help to develop their Chinese communication skills. At the same time, this course will help foreign students to better master Chinese and understand China, which is beneficial and harmless. It can also change the world’s stereotype of China and shape a new image of China.

Abstract:The 21st century is an era of knowledge and information. Modern science and technology based on information technology has inspired profound changes in the world, including college education. Information literacy is an intrinsic element that often plays an important role in teaching and school management. In the information age, how to improve college teachers’ information literacy has become a major issue in the development of college education. This paper focuses on the study of college English teachers’ information literacy. It first studies the basic connotation of information literacy of college teachers which covers information awareness, information knowledge, and information ability. Then this paper takes college English teachers in North China Electric Power University as the research object, and adopts questionnaire survey and literature research to analyze the current situation of the information literacy of college English teachers. Based on the analysis of the basic connotation of teachers’ information literacy, and the current situation of college English teachers’ information literacy, this paper puts forward three strategies for improving college English teachers’ information literacy: enhancing college English teachers’ self-development consciousness, making use of group dynamics, and perfecting modern information technology training system.

Abstract:Information technology has been deeply integrated in and widely applied to various fields of society, including education. The continuous informatization of higher education means that university teachers will face new challenges of information technology. The requirements for a teacher’s information literacy imply a higher ability to teach with the aid of information technology. The connotation of information literacy and the improvement of information technology ability of foreign language teachers in Chinese universities have been deeply explored. This article reviews the previous research of the information literacy of foreign language teachers in Chinese universities, points out the limitations of the research, and makes some suggestions for further study.

Abstract:As international exchange continues to expand and intensify, E-C (English-Chinese) translation teaching for postgraduates of non-English majors, aimed at nurturing interdisciplinary talents equipped with both professional knowledge and pragmatic competence, has garnered widespread attention. Domestic scholars have explored the aspects of “teaching” and “learning” in E-C translation teaching for postgraduates of non-English majors from multiple dimensions. This paper reviews E-C translation teaching for postgraduates of non-English majors in China in the past two decades based on representative studies, sorts out the focus and current status of research, and looks forward to the future development of teaching practice. We found that universities generally advocate and adopt interdisciplinary teaching methods that integrate “foreign language” into “majors”, and E-C translation teaching for postgraduates of non-English majors also revealed aspects that urgently need to be improved. Therefore, reviewing and reflecting on research related to translation teaching and proposing targeted measures based on its current teaching challenges have extremely important theoretical and practical significance.

Abstract:This article aims to study the cultural teaching of international Chinese education in the new era, exploring how to effectively teach Chinese language and cultivate students' cultural awareness in cross-cultural contexts. Through literature review and empirical research, this article analyzes the importance and challenges of cultural teaching, as well as effective cultural teaching strategies. The results of this study indicate that integrating cultural elements, cross-cultural communication, and practical activities can enhance students' language proficiency and cultural awareness. The research in this article has certain theoretical and practical significance for promoting the development of international Chinese language education in the new era.
