Abstract:The construction of female images in mass media embodies profound cultural connotations.The traditional cultural symbols of female images in mass media reflect some typical features of the influence of gender culture on social life and gender system on contemporary culture.These traditional cultural symbols are indispensably related to different social lives and values in different historical and cultural backgrounds.
