Expressions of estrogen related-related receptors in gynecological malignancies cell lines

Abstract:Objective To explore the expression of estrogen receptorrelated receptor α, β and γ in endometrial carcinoma, ovarian cancer and breast cancer cell lines. Methods Realtime quantitative polymerase chain reaction was used to detect the mRNA expression and westernblot was used to be detected the protein expression of estrogen receptorrelated receptors. Results In all endometrial carcinoma, ovarian cancer and breast cancer cell lines, estrogen receptorrelated receptor α were detected with high expression levels. ERR β were detected in endometrial carcinoma Hec1A, Hec1B cells and ovarian cancer Mdah2774, SKOV3, OVCAR3 cells, while ERRγ were detected in HEC1B, Ishikawa, SKOV3, OVCAR3, Mdah2774 and MCF7 cells. Conclusion ERRα and ERRγ were detected in most estrogen related gynecological cancer cell lines. This study provides a in vitro expression pattern of cancer cell lines for ERRs family.
