Abstract:This paper analyses the operational coordination mechanisms between the core enterprise and the partners within a supply chain having private local information. For a make to order production setting, a hybrid model of synergic production scheme based on negotiation is proposed. After analyzing the characteristic of synergic production process, this paper establishes the hierarchy of synergic production process monitoring. In the production process monitoring, four monitoring modes are defined according to the significance of the items in the whole product. A Web-based synergic production management system for supply chain has been implemented with programming in ASP and Ms SQL server. The application shows that the approach proposed in this paper is applicable to practical production in supply chain

Abstract:For realization of apparel mass customization,it has to span multiple enterprises in the supple chain.This paper makes a research on the supply chain management for apparel mass customization which analyzes the features of the supple chain management for apparel mass customization,and compares the differences between the supply chain for apparel mass production and the supply chain for apparel mass customization in terms of driving mode,dependence on IT,etc.Thus,the apparel supply chain models for the two different production modes are suggested.The information system and advanced management method of the supply chain management for apparel mass customization are discussed.

Abstract:As the advanced management technology of manufacturing systems, supply chain management has made great progress. At present, the centralized hierarchical control mode is adopted by many supply chain management systems. In such systems, entities are serially linked by orders. Each entity obtains the relevant order from its upper entity, and provides the input requirements information with the lower entity. Such a system has a slow response to environments since information is transmitted and fed back according to the strict multi-layer hierarchical structure. With the global market competition, it is much more necessary to put forward a new and efficient control method based on the existing supply chain management systems. The paper designs a common market-driving supplychain integrated architecture based on the ideology of agency adopting the technology ofWEB and CORBA, and completes the design of eight agents. Branch enterprise can joinin and exit the supply chain system after they encapsulate their legacy system accordingto the CORBA criterion based on the modeling oriented object and produced the adapter.

Abstract:The on-demand supply mode of cloud manufacturing is significant in enlivening the manufacturing resources over a wide range. However, problems in coupling and contradiction exist among individuation, cost and response time in the on-demand supply of manufacturing cloud service, thus decreasing the efficiency and effectiveness of cloud manufacturing. To decouple this contradiction problem and help users rapidly obtain individuation services at low cost, this paper proposes a two-dimensional (time and space dimensions) optimization mechanism and method for manufacturing cloud service. In the mechanism layer, the user demand decoupling point principle, which is formulated using the customer order decoupling point in traditional physical products, is proposed for describing the optimization direction; and the on-demand supply mode of manufacturing cloud service is divided into four sub-modes, i.e., provide-to-demand, compose-to-demand, engineer -to-demand and research-to-demand; then, a two-dimensional optimization model is established for describing the optimization mechanism among individuation, cost and response time. In the method layer, the decision-making process model for positioning and optimizing UDDP is studied to support the time dimension optimization of moving UDDP backward; and a recursive mapping model of the service topological structure is proposed for supporting the space dimension optimization of the service topological structure. Finally, the proposed model and method are applied to a cloud manufacturing service platform for the mold industry. Two case studies are presented for demonstrating the feasibility and effectiveness of this two-dimensional optimization approach.

Abstract:This paper starts from the analysis of the definition of supply chain, and compares the traditional cost management mode of Chinese enterprises with cost management mode based on supply chain by the method of comparison. The paper points out that the cost management based on supply chain, which aims at the improvement of customers' satisfaction and the market demand orientation, is a wholly new cost management method. This new management mode demands an effective coordination between upstream and downstream enterprises, and an extension of space and time of cost management from traditional workshop to the fields of development, design, supply and distribution. In the cost management strategies based on cost management, systematic planning and the integration of supply chain are the premises of success; the application of information technology is the guarantee of success; dynamic managed supply chain is an effective way to success; and the customer oriented target cost management technique is the priority of cost management.

Abstract:Aiming at engineering to order (ETO) product, an integrated framework of product development and design system for MC was presented after analyzing ETO product's characteristics and some key techniques were studied. A modularized development and design method based on product family and tabular layouts of article characteristics (TLAC) technique was advanced. Via this method, product master structure models were built up for configuration design and master models of components and parts for variant design. Through product's standardization and modularization based on TLAC, the customer order discoupling point(CODP) of product can be effectively postponed and customer order's influence on production efficiency and product cost can be reduced to minimum to satisfy the need of rapid customized design. Finally, an example was given to validate the above method.

Abstract:With cloud manufacturing and its shared big-data, the life-cycle management of the massive distributed manufacturing resources can be considered as an ecosystem, in which every entity makes their own decisions depend on the enriched information, which will affect the life cycle of the resources and the overall industry states. In this paper, an original operation mode with three extensions are proposed to describe the life cycle vicissitude of each resource. An agent-based model was designed to simulate the ecosystem modes from the very beginning, and the results show that the ecosystem has: 1) shorter job queue length and lower resource idle rate with incubation mode; 2) a little shorter job queue length and fewer amount of registered resource with outsourcing mode; 3) the fewest amount of registered resource but a little higher resource idle rate with metabolism mode.

Abstract:Aiming at the phenomena such as invisibility of order execution,delivery not just on time due to dispersion and abruption of information in MTO environment,an order execution process analysis and model method based on key node tracking was proposed. Combine with the business process dividing,the multi-layer structure system was set up,the strategy of the order track is draw up and a variety of evaluation index for order track was built. At last the order track system oriented to the discrete manufacturing was implemented. After its application in the automobile motor company,it shows that the on-time delivery and quality control capability have been significantly improved.

Abstract:In this paper, the synchronous supply chain management information system for mass customization in e-commerce is studied. The principle of chain management and the mechanism of mass customization in e-commerce are discussed. It is pointed out that chain management aims at chain value. Secondly, the paper explains the mechanism of chain management, and points out that chain management improves the value of chain by establishing modular operation units, identifying and managing bottlenecks, identifying and eliminating waste under the action of collaborative planning and control. This paper discusses chain management from the strategic point of view, and draws a conclusion that the mass customization operation management system based on chain management has the characteristics of sustainable competitive advantage. Finally, the process description system of implementing chain management is given, and the dynamic collaborative scheduling optimization of MC e-commerce in supply chain environment is also given. The practical case analysis shows that the method designed in this paper has a good practical effect.

Abstract:To solve key problems of mass customization(MC) and to settle the bottleneck in promoting MC,i.e.,to deal with the relationship between mass production efficiency and customer personal customized demand,this paper combines MC with supply chain management,so as to apply flexible operation advantages of supply chain systems to solving the problems.The paper analyzes mainly major constraints,with which methods are used to deal,and ways to alleviate dominant contradictions when MC is operated in supply chain environment.A case is employed to test the feasibility and the effectiveness of the approach presented in the paper.

Abstract:The state-of-art on supply chain is analyzed, and the new characteristics of supply chain under the networked manufacturing are discussed, which is a netted supply chain. Later an agile supply chain mode based on the center of harmony and control is proposed, and then a dynamic and reengineering system framework for agile supply chain based on multi-agent is constructed. A virtual private network(VPN) cadre is provided to support the agile supply chain. The key technologies based on the Web service are discussed, and these technologies and managing methods can be used to harmonize the plan and materials circulation, as well as to adjust the running mode of enterprises, thereby, to realize the agile manufacturing.

Abstract:Based on the production organization processes of steel-iron factories,this paper proposes a hybrid MTO-MTS order planning management method,and establishes integer programming models for the order planning problems based on MTO management idea and MTO-MTS management idea respectively.The models take into account earliness/tardiness penalty,inventory cost,production cost,inventory matching cost and order cancellation penalty,and consider inventory matching and production planning simultaneously.In order to solve the models,a PSO algorithm with heuristic repaired strategy for infeasible solutions is designed.In the experiments,parameters are analyzed and three sets of data with different order quantities are tested.Numerical results show that the MTO-MTS management mode can avoid the risk of demand forecasting inaccuracy,coordinate the contradiction of fast delivery and low inventory,and adapt to the development trend of the diversification and individualization of market demand.
Which operating mode is the best? Consider different combinations of sales contracts and service methods

Abstract:According to the different sales contracts and service methods, we propose four supply chain operating modes, that is, the manufacturer provides the service and adopts the wholesale price contract (MW mode); the retailer provides service and adopts the wholesale price contract (RW mode); the manufacturer provides service and adopts the consignment contract (MS mode); the retailer provides service and adopts the consignment contract (RS mode). In this paper, we develop a dual-channel supply chain consisting of a manufacturer and a retailer to explore the best operating mode for the firms, in which the manufacturer sells products through both online and offline channels. Our analysis shows that there are two thresholds for the deduction rate r1, r2, and r1. If the manufacturer/retailer has absolute power: when r/r, the best mode for the manufacturer/retailer is MS/MW; when r>r2/r>r1, the best mode for the manufacturer/retailer is MW/MS. In addition, if the manufacturer/retailer decides the service method and the retailer/manufacturer decides the sales contract, when r/r, the best mode for both parties is MW/MS; when r>r1/r>r2, the best mode for both parties is MS/MW. Furthermore, the Shapley contract and revenue sharing contract are designed to achieve the coordination of the supply chain under the best mode.

Abstract:It is pointed out that planning and scheduling operation process of MC oriented to supply chain is jointly accomplished by a certain number of dominant sub-processes that are coordinated with each other.Besides,effectuation of different dominant coordination sub-processes is kept in concert with the rational design and operation of a corresponding dominant functional module.Fundamental aspects and mode frame of each dominant functional module are analyzed,and implement model of MC planning and scheduling process oriented to supply chain is also elaborated based on cooperation of all dominant functional modules.This paper will provides the basic frame and guiding effect to that planning and scheduling problem's operation in theoretical exploration and practical usage.

Abstract:By analyzing the cost resulting from delivery advance/tardiness under MTO manufacturing mode,it formulates a decision-making model with the aim of making maximum profit from a product,and analyzes the existence of optimal solution,discussing the delivery time decision.The results indicate that if the customer accepts the advance delivery without paying extra cost to the manufacturer,the promised delivery time should be more than average delivery time.If the manufacturer does not need to pay penalty under delivery tardiness,average delivery time is the best choice.When the cost of delivery advance and tardiness is considered simultaneously,the promised delivery time should be set on the basis of average delivery time in combination with other relevant items.
