Abstract:The experiment was conducted to prepare Compound Chlorhexidine Acetate Gel,it was used to treat the endometritis in dam, and establish its quality control method. The Compound gelata was prepared with Chlorhexidine Acetate and Metronidazole as chief medicine using carbopol-940 as base. The content of Chlorhexidine Acetate and Metronidazole in the gel was determined by HLPC method. The results showed the preparation was white or light yellow semisolid gel, and had good precision and repetion rate about Chlorhexidine Acetate and Metronidazole.The mean recoveries were 99.23% and 99.37%. The preparation is simple in preparation process,and the determination is accurate and reproducible.

Preparation of Gelata Used to Treat the Endometritis in Dam
