Abstract:Considering two subgroups A and B of a group G and ⊘ ≠ X ⊆ G , we say that A is X-permutable with B if AB x = B x A for some element x ∈ X . We use this concept to give new characterizations of the classes of solvable, supersolvable, and nilpotent finite groups.

Abstract:Let A, B be subgroups of a group G and X a non-empty subset of G. Then we say that A is X-permutable with B if there exists some x∈X such that ABx=BxA. The purpose of the paper is to give a review about X-permutable subgroups and some their applications. A series of related important results and questions are introduced.

Abstract:Let X be a nonempty subset of a group G. A subgroup H of G is said to be X-s- permutable in G if, for every Sylow subgroup T of G, there exists an element x 2 X such that HT x = T x H. In this paper, we obtain some results about the X-s-permutable subgroups and use them to determine the structure of some finite groups.

Abstract:Let A and B be subgroups of a group G, and ∅ ≠ X ⊆ G. Then A is said to be X-permutable with B if there exists an element x ∈ X such that ABx = BxA. In this paper, a new version of Schur–Zassenhaus theorem is obtained for X-permutable subgroups, and hence, Question 5.1 in [6] is answered.

Abstract:Let H and T be subgroups of a group G. Then we call H conditionally permutable (or in brevity, c-permutable) with T in G if there exists an element x epsilon G such that HTx = (TH)-H-x. If H is c-permutable with T in < H, T >, then we call H completely c-permutable with T in G. By using the above concepts, we will give some new criterions for the supersolubility of a finite group G = AB, where A and B are both supersoluble groups. In particular, we prove that a finite group G is supersoluble if and only if G = AB, where both A, B are nilpotent subgroups of the group G and B is completely c-permutable in G with every term in some chief series of A. We will also give some applications of our new criterions.

We say that G is quasisupersoluble (resp., p-quasisupersoluble) if for every non-cyclic chief factor H/K of G (resp., for every non-cyclic chief factor H/K of G of order divisible by p), every automorphism of H/K induced by an element of G is inner. Abstract:Let G be a finite group. A subgroup A of G is said to be S-permutable in G if A permutes with every Sylow subgroup P of G, that is, . Let be the subgroup of A generated by all S-permutable subgroups of G contained in A and be the intersection of all S-permutable subgroups of G containing A. We prove that if G is a soluble group, then S-permutability is a transitive relation in G if and only if the nilpotent residual of G avoids the pair , that is, for every subnormal subgroup A of G.

Abstract:Abstract A subgroup H of a group G is said to be conditionally permutable (or c-permutable for short) in G if, for every subgroup T of G, there exists an element x ∈ G {x\in G} such that H ⁢ T x = T x ⁢ H {HT^{x}=T^{x}H} . A subgroup H of a group G is said to be completely c-permutable in G if, for every subgroup T of G, the subgroups H and T are c-permutable in 〈 H , T 〉 {\langle H,T\rangle} . In this paper, we prove that H / H G {H/H_{G}} is nilpotent if H is a completely c-permutable subnormal subgroup of G. This result generalizes a well-known theorem of Ito and Szép, and gives a positive answer to an open problem in [W. Guo, Structure Theory for Canonical Classes of Finite Groups, Springer, Heidelberg, 2015]. We also use complete c-permutability to determine the p-supersolubility of a group G.

Abstract:Let H and T be subgroups of a finite group G. We say that H is completely c-permutable with T in G if there exists an element x ∈ 〈H,T〉 such that HTx= TxH. In this paper, we use this concept to determine the supersolubility of a group G = AB, where A and B are supersoluble subgroups of G. Some criterions of supersolubility of such groups are obtained and some known results are generalized.

Abstract:A subgroup H of a group G is called weakly c -permutable in G if there exists a subgroup T of G such that G = H T and H ∩ T is completely c -permutable in G . In this paper, we obtain some results about the weakly c -permutable subgroups and use them to determine the structures of some groups. In particular, we give some new characterizations of supersolvability and p -nilpotency of a group (and, more general, a group belonging to a given formation of finite groups) by using the weakly c -permutability of some primary subgroups. As application, we generalize a series of known results.

Abstract:Let sigma = { sigma( i) | i is an element of I} be some partition of the set of all primes. A subgroup A of a finite group G is said to be: (i) sigma-subnormal in G if there is a subgroup chain A = A (0) <= A (1) <= center dot center dot center dot <= A (n) = G such that either A( i - 1) (sic) A (i) or A( i) / ( A( i - 1 )) A (i) is a sigma( j)-group, j = j( i), for all i = 1 , ... , n; (ii) modular in G if the following conditions are held: (1) < X, A boolean AND Z) = < X, A >boolean AND Z for all X <= G, Z <= G such that X <= Z, and (2) < A, Y boolean AND Z > = < A, Y >boolean AND Z for all Y <= G, Z <= G such that A <= Z; (iii) sigma-quasinormal in G if A is sigma-subnormal and modular in G. Abstract:Let 𝔉 be a class of groups. A subgroup H of G is said to be weakly 𝔉s-quasinormal in G if G has an S-quasinormal subgroup T such that HT is S-quasinormal in G and (H ∩ T) HG/HG ≤ Z𝔉(G/HG), where Z𝔉(G/HG) is the 𝔉-hypercenter of G/HG. In this paper, we investigate further the influence of weakly 𝔉s-quasinormality of some subgroups on the structure of finite groups. Some new characterizations about p-supersolubility and solubility of finite groups are obtained.

Abstract:For a permutation group G acting on a finite set Ω and a point α∈Ω, a suborbit Δ(α) is an orbit of the point stabilizer Gα on Ω. The permutation group induced by Gα on Δ(α) is called a subconstituent of G. Moreover, G is said to be uniprimitive if G is primitive but not 2-transitive. In this paper we investigate uniprimitive permutation groups which have a solvable 2-transitive subconstituent. We determine all such groups G which have a simple socle. The affine case, that is G has an elementary abelian socle, are also discussed and an infinite family of affine primitive groups with non-self-paired 2-transitive subconstituents are presented.
