Abstract:In the title compound, C8H12N3O+.Cl-, all bond lengths and angles show normal values. The crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular N-(HCl)-Cl-... and N-(HO)-O-... hydrogen bonds, which link the molecules into infinite ribbons running along the b axis.

Abstract:In the structure of the title salt, C6H9N2+ center dot C7H6NO2-, the 4-aminobenzoate anions are linked to adjacent anions and 2-amino-4-methylpyridinium cations via N - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional supramolecular structure. The crystal structure also shows a weak C - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond between adjacent anions. Within the 4-aminobenzoate anion, the carboxylate group is twisted by 14.0 (4)degrees with respect to the benzene ring.

Abstract:Crystals of the title compound, [Cr(C4H5NO4)(C6H6N4S2)(H2O)]Cl.H2O, consist of Cr(III) complex cations, Cl- counter-ions and lattice water molecules. The complex cation assumes an octahedral coordination geometry, formed by a tridentate iminodiacetate dianion (IDA), a diaminobithiazole (DABT) molecule and a water molecule. The planar DABT group chelates the Cr(III) ion with normal Cr-N distances [2.0574 (17) and 2.0598 (17) A], but the DABT molecule is inclined to the coordination plane by a dihedral angle of 17.23 (7) degrees. In the monodentate carboxylate groups of the IDA ion, the coordinated C-O bonds [1.288 (3) and 1.284 (3) A] are much longer than the uncoordinated C-O bonds [1.222 (3) and 1.225 (3) A].

Abstract:The title compound, C13H30N3+center dot Cl-, is a phase-transfer catalyst. The geometry at the central C atom of the guanidinium cation, which lies on a twofold rotation axis, is almost ideal trigonal planar, with N-C-N angles of 119.8 (2) and 120.08 (11)degrees. The chloride anion also lies on a twofold rotation axis.

Abstract:The anions of guanidinium 4-hydroxy-3-carboxybenzenesulfonate, CH6N3+·C7H5O6S−, are linked into a linear chain by a short Ocarboxyl⋯Osulfonate interaction of 2.611 (2) Å; the hydroxyl group is linked intramolecularly to the carbonyl O atom, also by a short hydrogen bond [O⋯O = 2.601 (2) Å]. Adjacent chains are connected into a three-dimensional network structure through hydrogen-bonding interactions with the cation.

Abstract:In the title compound, C(18)H(24)NO(2)(+)center dot Cl(-), the absolute configuration of the new stereogenic centre ( the C atom with a CH(2)OH substituent) was unambiguously determined to have an R configuration. The dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 30.82 (2)degrees. Intermolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot Cl and O-H center dot center dot center dot Cl hydrogen bonds and intramolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal structure.
