How Libraries to Implement Knowledge Aid to Internet-addicted Teenagers

Abstract:Teenagers' addiction to Internet is a new social problem.At present,there are more than 5 millions Internet-addicted teenagers,who are disadvantaged people in vulnerable groups.The features of Internet media,the vulnerability of teenagers,and the harmful influence of family,school and even society environment are important reasons for teenagers' addiction to Internet.Internet addiction has negative effect on teenagers' health mentally and physically,as well as their social function,and even it can trigger crime.Constructing effective social support networks is a powerful measure to eliminate the phenomena.Libraries should make use of their own advantages,intervene actively in the prevention and cure of Internet addiction and assume their social responsibility.Libraries should stress strategies and methods when they implement knowledge aid to the Internet-addicted teenagers.
