Abstract:We propose a new identity-based signature scheme from Weil pairing or Tate pairing. We prove that the confirmation and denial protocols of our scheme have the completeness and soundness properties. Our scheme is efficient in computation.

Abstract:In a directed signature scheme, a verifier can exclusively verify the signatures designated to himself, and shares with the signer the ability to prove correctness of the signature to a third party when necessary. Directed signature schemes are suitable for applications such as bill of tax and bill of health. This paper studies directed signatures in the identity-based setting. We first present the syntax and security notion that includes unforgeability and invisibility, then propose a concrete identity-based directed signature scheme from bilinear pairings. We then prove our scheme existentially unforgeable under the computational Diffie-Hellman assumption, and invisible under the decisional Bilinear Diffie-Hellman assumption, both in the random oracle model.

Abstract:Group signatures allow every authorized member of a group to sign on behalf of the underlying group. Anyone except the group manager is not able to validate who generates a signature for a document. A new identity-based group signature scheme is proposed in this paper. This scheme makes use of a bilinear function derived from Weil pairings over elliptic curves. Also, in the underlying composition of group signatures there is no exponentiation computation modulo a large composite number. Due to these ingredients of the novel group signatures, the proposed scheme is efficient with respect to the computation cost in signing process. In addition, this paper comes up with a security proof against adaptive forgeability.

Abstract:ID-based signature enables users to verify signatures using only public identifier. Very recently, Rossi and Schmid (2015) [9] proposed two identity-based signature schemes along with the application to group communications. Unfortunately, by proposing concrete attack, we demonstrate that the former scheme is insecure against forgery attack, while the latter scheme has been totally broken in the sense that the signing key can be recovered from the valid signature easily.

Abstract:The concept of universal designated verifier signatures was introduced by Steinfeld, Bull, Wang and Pieprzyk at Asiacrypt 2003. These signatures can be used as standard publicly verifiable digital signatures but have an additional functionality which allows any holder of a signature to designate the signature to any desired verifier. This designated verifier can check that the message was indeed signed, but is unable to convince anyone else of this fact. We propose new efficient constructions for pairing-based short signatures. Our first scheme is based on Boneh-Boyen signatures and its security can be analyzed in the standard security model. We prove its resistance to forgery assuming the hardness of the so-called strong Diffie-Hellman problem, under the knowledge-of-exponent assumption. The second scheme is compatible with the Boneh-Lynn-Shacham signatures and is proven unforgeable, in the random oracle model, under the assumption that the computational bilinear Diffie-Hellman problem is untractable. Both schemes are designed for devices with constrained computation capabilities since the signing and the designation procedure are pairing-free. Finally, we present extensions of these schemes in the multi-user setting proposed by Desmedt in 2003.

Abstract:Signcryption is a public key cryptographic primitive that performs digital signature and public key encryption simultaneously, at lower computational costs and communication overheads than the signature-then-encryption approach. In this paper, an efficient certificate-based signcryption scheme based on bilinear pairings is proposed. As compared to traditional and identity-based signcryption schemes, the proposed scheme has the following advantages: it provides implicit certification; it does not have the private key escrow feature of identity-based signcryption schemes, we also analyze the proposed scheme from security and performance points of view.

Abstract:An identity-based threshold unsigncryption scheme is proposed, which is the integration of the signcryption scheme, the (t,n) threshold scheme and zero knowledge proof for the equality of two discrete logarithms based on the bilinear map. In this scheme, a signcrypted message is decrypted only when more than t members join an unsigncryption protocol and the signature can be verified by any third party. A formal proof of security of this scheme is provided in the random oracle model, assuming the Decisional Bilinear Diffie-Hellman problem is computationally hard.

Abstract:With various applications of Weil pairing (Tate pairing) to cryptography, ID-based encryption schemes, digital signature schemes, blind signature scheme, two-party authenticated key agreement schemes, and tripartite key agreement scheme were proposed recently, all of them using bilinear pairing (Weil or Tate pairing). In this paper, we propose an ID-based one round authenticated tripartite key agreement protocol. The authenticity of the protocol is assured by a special signature scheme, so that messages carrying the information of two ephemeral keys can be broadcasted authenticly by an entity. Consequently, one instance of our protocol results in eight session keys for three entities. Security attributes of our protocol are presented, and the computational overhead and band- width of the broadcast messages are analyzed as well.

Abstract:In recent years, identity-based quantum signature protocols have received much attention due to their unique advantages. Based on Bell states, we propose an efficient identity-based quantum signature scheme. In our scheme, the signer’s private key is generated from their identity information. The signer uses the private key and secret parameters to generate a signature for the verifier. The verifier, who possesses the identity information of the signer, can authenticate the signature. Our proposed scheme ensures signature non-forgeability and non-repudiation. In addition, the protocol does not require the preparation of long-term quantum memory or the performance of quantum swap tests, making it more efficient than previous schemes.

Abstract:We propose a new identity-based threshold signature (IBTHS) scheme from bilinear pairings enjoying the following advantages in efficiency, security and functionality. The round-complexity of the threshold signing protocol is optimal since each party pays no other communication cost except broadcasting one single message. The computational complexity of the threshold signing procedure is considerably low since there appears no other time-consuming pairing except two pairings for verifying each signature shares. The communication channel requirement of the threshold signing procedure is the lowest since the broadcast channel among signers is enough. It is provably secure with optimal resilience in the standard model. It is the private key associated with an identity rather than a private key of the private key generator (PKG) that is shared among signature generation servers.

Convertibleundeniable signatures allow the signer to convert undeniablesignatures into ordinary signatures. In this paperwe propose some extended variants of the famous Diffie-Hellman assumption on bilinear group system, then designa new convertible undeniable signature scheme and provideproofs for all relevant security properties based on the newassumption in the random oracle model. Abstract:Identity-based signature is an important technique for light-weight authentication. Recently, many efforts have been made to construct identity-based signatures over lattice assumptions since they would remain secure in future quantum age. In this paper we present a new identity-based signature scheme from lattice problems. This scheme is more efficient than other lattice-based identity-based signature schemes in terms of both computation and communication complexities. We prove its security in the random oracle model under short integer solution assumption that is as hard as approximating several worst-case lattice problems. We also extend the scheme to an identity-based message recovery signature scheme that has better performance.

Abstract:There are many proposed identity-based digital signature protocols based on bilinear pairings. But the computation of pairing is time-consuming, the performance of those agreements is unacceptable. An Identity based digital signature protocol which based on ECDSA is proposed in this paper. As a result, up to 95% of the computation cost can be saved when compared to other identity based signature protocols using pairing. The proposed protocol can be implemented by the exiting component of ECDSA.

Abstract:Identity-based(ID-based) threshold ring signature has rapidly emerged in recent years and many schemes have been proposed until now. However, most of these ID-based threshold ring signatures are constructed from bilinear pairings, a powerful but computationally expensive primitive. Hence, ID-based threshold ring signature without pairing is of great interest in the field of cryptography. In this paper, we propose an ID-based threshold ring signature scheme without pairings. Abstract:Certificateless cryptography aims at combining the advantages of identity based and traditional certificate-based public key cryptography, so as to avoid the key escrow problem inherent in the identity based system and certificate management in public key infrastructure. In this paper, we propose a new efficient certificateless signature scheme and prove its security in the random oracle model. Furthermore, via pre-computing a bilinear pairing in the setup phase, our scheme only needs to compute one pairing in the verify stage. It is more efficient in computation complexity and communication complexity than that of many previous schemes.

Recently, two identity-based threshold signcryption schemes [12], [27] have been proposed by combining the concepts of identity-based threshold signature and signcryption together. However, the formal models and security proofs for both schemes are not considered. In this paper, we formalize the concept of identity-based threshold signcryption and give a new scheme based on the bilinear pairings. We prove its confidentiality under the Decisional Bilinear Diffie-Hellman assumption and its unforgeability under the Computational Diffie-Hellman assumption in the random oracle model. Our scheme turns out to be more efficient than the two previously proposed schemes.

Abstract:Signcryption is a cryptographic primitive that performs signature and encryption simultaneously. In this paper, we propose an efficient identity based signcryption scheme for multiple receivers which needs only one pairing computation to signcrypt a message for n different receivers and can provide confidentiality and authenticity simultaneously. This scheme turns out to be more efficient than all others proposed so far. We prove its security in the random oracle model. Specifically, we prove its semantic security under the hardness of Bilinear Diffie-Hellman (BDH) problem and its unforgeability under the Computational Diffie-Hellamn (CDH) assumption.

Abstract:Based on the Hess signature scheme, a new efficient ID-based verifiably encrypted signature scheme was proposed. The scheme had the less pairing operations, and adjudicator signed a guarantee to avoid refusing to extract the common signature when resolving conflicts, thereby exchange signature protocol's fairness was enhanced. Compared with the other schemes, the proposed scheme was more efficient. At last its security was proved in the random oracle model. The proposed scheme was proved to be security assuming the computing Diffie-Hellman problem was hard.
