Abstract:In this paper, we introduce the concept of strongly order continuity of a set function, and use it to investigate the convergence of measurable functions sequence and of integral sequence on fuzzy measure space. Several equivalent conditions of strongly order continuity are presented. It is shown that a necessary and sufficient condition that Lebesgue's theorem remains valid for a monotone set function is that the set function possesses strongly order continuity.

Abstract:In this paper, we prove the following improved Vitali–Hahn–Saks measure convergence theorem: Let (L, 0, 1) be a Boolean algebra with the sequential completeness property, (G, τ) be an Abelian topological group, ν be a nonnegative finitely additive measure defined on L, {μn: n∈ N} be a sequence of finitely additive s-bounded G-valued measures defined on L, too. If for each a∈ L, {μn(a)}n∈ N is a τ-convergent sequence, for each n∈N, when {ν (aα)}α∈Λ convergent to 0, {μn(aα)}α∈Λ is τ-convergent, then when {ν (aα)}α∈Λ convergent to 0, {μn(aα)}α∈Λ are τ-convergent uniformly with respect to n∈N

Abstract:In this paper we first discuss the measurable projection theorem on fuzzy measure space, and in this framework the characterization theorem with respect to measurability of a set-valued function is given. By means of the asymptotic structural characteristics of fuzzy measure, we discuss four forms of generalization for both Lebesgue's theorem, Riesz's theorem, and Egoroff's theorem, respectively. The relation between convergence of measurable set-valued function sequence and that of corresponding measurable real-valued function sequence are also discussed.

Abstract:On finite measurable set, convergence in measure of the measurable function sequence can be multiplicated and divided under appropriate condition. The article enumerates the reverse examples to illustrate the relevant conclusions are not correct on infinite measurable set under the same conditions. According to further discussion, it obtains a looser condition which ensures the relevant conclusions correct on infinite measurable set. Also, it gives the equivalent form verified easily for the condition.

Abstract:Given a measurable space (X,F), a fuzzy measure μ on (X,F), and a nonnegative functionfonXthat is measurable with respect toF, we can define a new set function ν on (X,F) by the fuzzy integral. It is known that ν is a lower semicontinuous fuzzy measure on (X,F) and, moreover, if μ is finite, then ν is a finite fuzzy measure as well. In this paper, we generalize in several different ways the concept of absolute continuity of set functions, as defined in classical measure theory. In addition, we investigate the relationship among these generalizations by using the structural characteristics of set functions such as null-additivity and autocontinuity, and determine which types of absolute continuity of fuzzy measures are possessed by the fuzzy measure (or the lower semicontinuous fuzzy measure) obtained by the fuzzy integral.

Abstract:To provide a Kolmogorov-type condition for characterizing a best approximation in a continuous complex-valued function space, it is usually assumed that the family of closed convex sets in the complex plane used to restrict the range satisfies a strong interior-point condition, and this excludes the interesting case when some t is a line-segment or a singleton. The main aim of the present paper is to remove this restriction by virtue of a study of the notion of the strong CHIP for an infinite system of closed convex sets in a continuous complex-valued function space.

Abstract:In this paper we introduce the concepts of extension real number and extension complex mumber,give depictive theorems of extension real number and extension complex number,and set up measure spaces of extension real number and extension complex number.These spaces are complete.Based on these spaces,we can discuss the limits of the sequence of extension real number and extension complex number,metrical and lever wise convergence,and study the continuity and extension continuity of extension real or extension complex functions.This enriches the contents and the methods of the extension mathematics and opens up a new way for the study of the extension mathematics.All this may be a foundation for further research extension analysis.

Abstract:Uniform continuity of function is an important mathematical concept. In general,the decision methods of function's uniform continuity are made from the perspective of definition,Cantor theorem,the possibility of functional limit at the interval endpoints,and so on,which has disadvantages in practice. Based on the general decision methods and through the study of derivable function,this paper presented a series of decision theorems of uniform continuity of derivable function. Especially,the comparability methods of function's uniform continuity were established,which made it possible to distinguish the uniform continuity of complex function through comparing it with the uniform continuous function. This method not only enlarged the scale of distinguishing,but also filled the gap of the theory of function's uniform continuity.

Abstract:We prove that every nonnegative continuous real-valued function on a given compact metric space is the uniform limit of some increasing sequence of nonnegative simple functions being linear combinations of indicators of open sets; here the nontriviality is relative to the standard choice(s) of approximating simple functions for measurable functions, where one loses control over the indicated measurable sets. Thus the standard uniform approximation of bounded nonnegative measurable real-valued functions by increasing nonnegative simple functions may be improved for nonnegative continuous real-valued functions on compact metric spaces. There are also some interesting consequences regarding semi-continuous functions and smooth functions.

Abstract:<p>In this paper, we propose three types of absolute continuity for monotone measures and present some of their basic properties. By means of these three types of absolute continuity, we establish generalized Egoroff's theorem, generalized Riesz's theorem and generalized Lebesgue's theorem in the framework involving the ordered pair of monotone measures. The Egoroff theorem, the Riesz theorem and the Lebesgue theorem in the traditional sense concerning a unique monotone measure are extended to the general case. These three generalized convergence theorems include as special cases several previous versions of Egoroff-like theorem, Riesz-like theorem and Lebesgue-like theorem for monotone measures, respectively.</p>
