Abstract:In this paper we first discuss the measurable projection theorem on fuzzy measure space, and in this framework the characterization theorem with respect to measurability of a set-valued function is given. By means of the asymptotic structural characteristics of fuzzy measure, we discuss four forms of generalization for both Lebesgue's theorem, Riesz's theorem, and Egoroff's theorem, respectively. The relation between convergence of measurable set-valued function sequence and that of corresponding measurable real-valued function sequence are also discussed.

Abstract:On finite measurable set, convergence in measure of the measurable function sequence can be multiplicated and divided under appropriate condition. The article enumerates the reverse examples to illustrate the relevant conclusions are not correct on infinite measurable set under the same conditions. According to further discussion, it obtains a looser condition which ensures the relevant conclusions correct on infinite measurable set. Also, it gives the equivalent form verified easily for the condition.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce the concept of strongly order continuity of a set function, and use it to investigate the convergence of measurable functions sequence and of integral sequence on fuzzy measure space. Several equivalent conditions of strongly order continuity are presented. It is shown that a necessary and sufficient condition that Lebesgue's theorem remains valid for a monotone set function is that the set function possesses strongly order continuity.

Abstract:We prove that the convergence of a sequence of functions in the space of measurable functions, with respect to the topology of convergence in measure, implies the convergence-almost everywhere ( denotes the Lebesgue measure) of the sequence of rearrangements. We obtain nonexpansivity of rearrangement on the space, and also on Orlicz spaces with respect to a finitely additive extended real-valued set function. In the space and in the space, of finite elements of an Orlicz space of a-additive set function, we introduce some parameters which estimate the Hausdorff measure of noncompactness. We obtain some relations involving these parameters when passing from a bounded set of, or, to the set of rearrangements.

Abstract:Certain notions of convergence of sequences of functions such as convergence pointwise, uniform and parts (compact sets or bounded sets) come from suitable topological functional spaces [1]. Under certain conditions these topologies involved are metrizable, which in an advantage since there is an extensive theory on convergence in metric spaces. However, the case of pointwise convergence is delicate, since it is shown that under certain hypothesis this form of convergence of sequences of functions is not equivalent to convergence in metric.

Abstract:We study equivalent descriptions of the vague, weak, setwise and total-variation (TV) convergence of sequences of Borel measures on metrizable and non-metrizable topological spaces in this work. On metrizable spaces, we give some equivalent conditions on the vague convergence of sequences of measures following Kallenberg, and some equivalent conditions on the TV convergence of sequences of measures following Feinberg-Kasyanov-Zgurovsky. There is usually some hierarchy structure on the equivalent descriptions of convergence in different modes, but not always. On non-metrizable spaces, we give examples to show that these conditions are seldom enough to guarantee any convergence of sequences of measures. There are some remarks on the attainability of the TV distance and more modes of sequential convergence at the end of the work.

Abstract:In this paper, we propose three types of absolute continuity for monotone measures and present some of their basic properties. By means of these three types of absolute continuity, we establish generalized Egoroff's theorem, generalized Riesz's theorem and generalized Lebesgue's theorem in the framework involving the ordered pair of monotone measures. The Egoroff theorem, the Riesz theorem and the Lebesgue theorem in the traditional sense concerning a unique monotone measure are extended to the general case. These three generalized convergence theorems include as special cases several previous versions of Egoroff-like theorem, Riesz-like theorem and Lebesgue-like theorem for monotone measures, respectively.

Abstract:In this note, we show a generalized version of convergence in measure theorem of Sugeno integrals in the framework concerning ordered pair of monotone measures. The condition of a kind of absolute continuity we employed is not only sufficient, but also necessary for the generalized version. The previous two versions (standard-form and pseudo-form) of the convergence in measure theorem are recovered by this generalized version. Thus, the convergence in measure theorems of Sugeno integrals are unified in general framework. In the same way the convergence in measure theorem and strict convergence in measure theorem of seminnormed fuzzy integrals are generalized, respectively. The relations between the convergence in measure and the convergence pseudo-in measure of measurable functions sequence are described in the context relating to a pair of monotone measures.

Abstract:In this paper we look for the existence of large linear and algebraic structures of sequences of measurable functions with different modes of convergence. Concretely, the algebraic size of the family of sequences that are convergent in measure but not a.e. pointwise, uniformly but not pointwise convergent, and uniformly convergent but not in \(L^1\)-norm, are analyzed. These findings extend and complement a number of earlier results by several authors.

Abstract:The weighted averages of a sequence (ck), ck ∈ ℂ, with respect to the weights (pk), pk ≥ 0, with {fx135-1} are defined by {fx135-2} while the weighted average of a measurable function f: ℝ+ → ℂ with respect to the weight function p(t) ≥ 0 with {fx135-3}. Under mild assumptions on the weights, we give necessary and sufficient conditions under which the finite limit σn → L as n → ∞ or σ(t) → L as t → ∞ exists, respectively. These characterizations may find applications in probability theory.
