Abstract:Abstract Changes in the stress field and seepage field of mining unloading are one of the important causes of deformation and destabilization of the rock body of the bottom slab. With the increase of mining intensity and depth, the disaster of water influx on the bottom plate under the dual action of mining unloading and pressurized water has become one of the main problems restricting the efficient and safe mining of coal. Based on the research background of confined water inrush from Ordovician limestone floor in North China Coalfield, the numerical analysis revealed that mining unloading concentrates stresses, increases deformation, and increases the plastic zone and permeability range. Based on laboratory acoustic emission and mechanical tests, it is found that the peak of acoustic emission ringing number can be one of the precursor information of limestone seepage mutation. This study reveals the evolution law of rock body deformation and permeability under the unloading path, and the research obtains the unloading seepage and water gushing disaster mechanism of the subgrade rock body.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The paper attempts to address the issue of precursor information and disaster mechanisms related to sudden seepage changes in the floor rock strata during mining. Specifically, the paper focuses on how changes in the stress field and seepage field of the floor rock strata under mining-induced pressure relief lead to rock mass deformation and instability, and explores the relationship between these changes and water inrush disasters. The research background of the paper is the problem of pressurized water inrush in the Ordovician limestone floor of the northern coalfields in China. With the increase in mining intensity and depth, the floor rock strata face severe water inrush problems under the dual effects of mining-induced pressure relief and pressurized water, which has become one of the main obstacles to efficient and safe coal mining. Through numerical analysis and laboratory acoustic emission tests, the study reveals phenomena such as concentrated stress, increased deformation, and the expansion of plastic zones and seepage ranges due to mining-induced pressure relief. It also finds that the peak value of acoustic emission counts can serve as one of the precursor information for sudden seepage changes in limestone. Additionally, the study uncovers the deformation and seepage evolution patterns of the rock mass under the pressure relief path and obtains the mechanisms of pressure relief seepage and water inrush disasters in the floor rock strata.
