Abstract:In the development of international economic activities, or the communication of different national culture, is relying on the powerful tool for English language, business English as an international language, plays a bridge role in international trade, along with our country market gradually into the international economy and society, the demand of business trade English translation and contradictions increasingly prominent. Business English is a combination of language, culture and economy. It is a common language for cross-cultural communication in the context of international business. Business English translation should follow certain principles, understand the characteristics of business English and pay attention to translation skills, which are very important for business English translation. However, there are many deficiencies and problems in current business English. In view of these problems, the corresponding measures are put forward.
Brief Discussion of the Translation of International Business Contracts

Abstract:In the activities of international business trade, business contract has become an important legal document. Nowadays, business English has become not only a necessary tool for communication, but also the base of English business contracts. More and more English-learners and law-majors hope they can know something about English business contracts so as to understand them correctly, translate them exactly and make them perfectly. China’s entering the WTO enhances their desire to use English to solve the problems of business contracts. There are many different kinds of international business contracts, whose contents are diversified and complicated. In international trade, translation is compulsory since contracts usually need two versions: English and Chinese. The international business contract has its own characters, such as proper arrangement, standardization and specialty. All these make the translation of them very difficult and thus demand good skills to ensure a high quality. This article analyzes the preciseness, strictness and standardization of business contracts and explores the skills of translating them by citing many examples. It also points out some common translation errors, the reasons and the methods to correct the errors. Finally some advice is given to call readers attention to the problems in translation.

Abstract:Abstract With the continuous development of economy, communication is increasing between China and overseas, and business activities are becoming more and more frequent. In this process, foreign trade English plays an important role. Foreign trade English is unique, professional and practical. Under different scenes of foreign trade, English words can express different meanings. In the course of trade, foreign trade English can help both of parties to communicate, and can achieve the translation of language, the interpretation of contract, the understanding of letter and so on. In the process of language communication and reading important documents, we need a solid foundation of English language and profound foreign cultural background, and have a strong ability to deal with the professional knowledge of international trade and the use of English vocabulary. The characteristics of foreign trade English language are analyzed in terms of vocabulary, style and grammar. At the same time, in the process of language understanding and translation, we need to meet the requirements of real-time. With the frequent exchange of foreign trade between our country and other countries, a large number of English documents will be produced, the relevant departments have put forward higher requirements for the accuracy of these documents and real time of these documents, the traditional manual translation can not meet the growing demand for foreign trade translation. With the help of computer aided-translation software memoQ, we help people do auxiliary translation, therefore, it can reduce translator’s burden and improve the accuracy of translation and efficiency of translation. We select a large number of texts and adopt memoQ software to translate, so as to analyze the role of computer-aided translation software in the translation process of English documents.

Abstract:This study explores the translation of business English contracts from English to Chinese from the perspective of functional equivalence. The functional equivalence theory involves three aspects of functional equivalence: lexical equivalence, sentential equivalence, and textual equivalence. As far as translation is concerned, translators adopt different translation techniques for different types of texts, striving to achieve equivalence in lexical, sentential, and textual functions. Therefore, translators are to recognize the different characteristics of business English contracts and highlight English translation styles and characteristics with the help of the functional equivalence theory.

Abstract:Regardless of whether it is a student, an employer, or a response professional course, there are still insufficient education in business English translation, resulting in defects in students' ability after employment and limiting their career development. Therefore, it is more necessary to consolidate the basic skills of business English translation Foundation, which can more solidly complete supporting work. This experiment is aimed at the students' control of professional English translation skills and the research of students' professional English translation skills. This article focuses on the objective description and analysis of the survey results, personal subjective conclusions and theoretical quotations are relatively small, so as to use real data to reflect the current situation of professional English courses. In this study, students were issued questionnaires and interviews with teachers were conducted to combine the teaching status and learning status to reflect the situation of professional English courses more comprehensively. With the help of the Internet platform to issue questionnaires, initially get involved in big data analysis, and collect the real needs of both supply and demand by searching the websites of enterprises and universities, making the survey results more socially meaningful. The experimental research results show that in response to the various problems in the English needs of students majoring in international trade in applied universities, teachers should organically integrate the test orientation and training goals, and make overall plans; scientific research authorities and education authorities should increase funding for university English research Strength.

Abstract:As economic globalization continues to accelerate, international trade has become an important aspect of agricultural product trading enterprises. To be competitive in the global market, it is essential for these enterprises to possess proficient business English skills. This thesis examines the application of business English in agricultural products trading enterprises in the context of economic globalization. The literature review discusses the importance of business English in international trade, the challenges faced by agricultural products trading enterprises, and the strategies for developing effective business English skills. The empirical research involves a case study of a Chinese agricultural products trading enterprise, analyzing the application of business English in its international trade operations. The results suggest that effective communication in English is essential for success in international trade, and that agricultural products trading enterprises need to develop strong business English skills to remain competitive in the global market.
