Abstract:Oleylamine/oleic acid (OAm/OA) as the commonly used ligand is indispensable in the synthesis of perovskite nanocrystals (PNCs). Unfortunately, poor colloidal stability and unsatisfactory photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) are observed, resulting from a highly dynamic binding nature between ligands. Herein, we adopt a facile hybrid ligand (DDAB/ZnBr2) passivation strategy to reconstruct the surface chemistry of CsPbBr3 NCs. The hybrid ligand can detach the native surface ligand, in which the acid-base reactions between ligands are suppressed effectively. Also, they can substitute the loose capping ligand, anchor to the surface firmly, and supply sufficient halogens to passivate the surface trap, realizing an exceptional PLQY of 95% and an enhanced tolerance toward ambient storage, UV irradiation, anti-solvents, and thermal treatment. Besides, the as-fabricated white light-emitting diode (WLED) utilizing the PNCs as the green-emitting phosphor has a luminous efficiency around 73 lm/W; the color gamut covers 125% of the NTSC standard.

Abstract:The colloidal all-inorganic CsPbX3(X=I, Br, Cl) perovskite nanocrystals(NCs) with unique optical properties have attracted considerable attention in the field of semiconductor nanocrystals, but their application is hindered by stability issues caused by surface defects and environmental factors. Usually with inert layer encapsulation, the stability of CsPbX3 NCs can be significantly enhanced. However, due to the loss of highly dynamic oleic acid/oleylamine ligands, it is usually accompanied by a decrease in the photoluminescence quantum yield(PLQY). Herein, we report a facile method for preparing CsPbBr3 NCs based green phosphors with high stability and bright emission. With modification of colloidal CsPbBr3 NCs by di-dodecyldimethylammonium bromide and sequent encapsulation in the as-synthesized mesoporous MOF-5, the green emitting phosphors with enhanced stability and a PLQY of 77% were obtained. The phosphors exhibit enhanced resistance against ambient oxygen, UV light, heat treatment and water. These excellent properties show the potential value of our prepared NCs as stable phosphors in light-emitting devices.

Abstract:Colloidal nanocrystals of fully inorganic cesium lead halide (CsPbX3, X = Cl, Br, I, or combinations thereof) perovskites have attracted much attention for photonic and optoelectronic applications. Herein, we demonstrate a facile room-temperature (e.g., 25 °C), ligand-mediated reprecipitation strategy for systematically manipulating the shape of CsPbX3 colloidal nanocrystals, such as spherical quantum dots, nanocubes, nanorods, and nanoplatelets. The colloidal spherical quantum dots of CsPbX3 were synthesized with photoluminescence (PL) quantum yield values up to >80%, and the corresponding PL emission peaks covering the visible range from 380 to 693 nm. Besides spherical quantum dots, the shape of CsPbX3 nanocrystals could be engineered into nanocubes, one-dimensional nanorods, and two-dimensional few-unit-cell-thick nanoplatelets with well-defined morphology by choosing different organic acid and amine ligands via the reprecipitation process. The shape-dependent PL decay lifetimes have been determined to be several to tens to hundreds of nanoseconds. Our method provides a facile and versatile route to rationally control the shape of the CsPbX3 perovskites nanocrystals, which will create opportunities for applications such as displays, lasing, light-emitting diodes, solar concentrators, and photon detection.
Controlling the growth of a SiO2 coating on hydrophobic CsPbBr3 nanocrystals towards aqueous transfer and high luminescence

Abstract:Silica coating can effectively solve the stability issue of lead halide perovskite nanomaterials. However, it is difficult to achieve aqueous SiO2 coating on hydrophobic CsPbBr3 nanocrystals (NCs). In this paper, the hydrolysis process of tetramethoxysilane was controlled to get a homogeneous SiO2 coating or a NC/SiO2 Janus structure. In step 1, the Cs4PbBr6 NCs were silanized using partially hydrolyzed tetramethoxysilane (PH-TMOS). During this process, the Si-OH groups which came from PH-TMOS were absorbed onto the surface of the Cs4PbBr6 NCs with the removal of hydrophobic oleic acid (OA) ligands. In step 2, phase transformation from Cs4PbBr6 to CsPbBr3 occurred owing to the injection of water. Meanwhile, further hydrolysis of TMOS took place and generated cross-linked Si-O-Si. Because the silanization in step 1 created lots of growth sites, the condensation of SiO2 was not limited to the interface between water and hexane. After growing for 12 h, the fully covered CsPbBr3@SiO2 capsules were prepared. The anion exchange reactions of the CsPbBr3@SiO2 capsules were studied. Only one even and symmetric PL peak was apparent during the anion exchange process, which was different from the bare CsPbBr3 NCs. This result demonstrated that the SiO2 shell can act as a buffer layer to block the direct contact of CsPbBr3 with the excess PbBr2 precursor in solution. Compared with the CsPbBr3 NCs, CsPbBr3@SiO2 showed better stability in polar solvent and air. A bright green emission was also observed under UV light after 90 days. The successful preparation of CsPbBr3@SiO2 capsules with enhanced stability paves the way for the further development of lead halide perovskite nanomaterials.

Abstract:All-inorganic lead halide perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) have attracted enormous attention owing to their excellent optical properties such as ultrahigh photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY), narrow full width at half maximum (FWHM) and broad emission spectra tunability. In this study, we reported the synthesis of colloidal perovskite NCs based on CsPbBr3@Cs4PbBr6 composite structure. With the assistance of Tetraoctylammonium bromide (TOAB) ligands, the prepared CsPbBr3@Cs4PbBr6 NCs show high PLQY of 94.7% and enhanced stability. The crystal morphology and phase structure of the CsPbBr3@Cs4PbBr6 NCs were investigated by HRTEM and XRD measurements. In addition, the crystal morphology of CsPbBr3@Cs4PbBr6 NCs presents cubic and circular particles with an average size of 9.3 nm. Compared with CsPbBr3 NCs, the diphase CsPbBr3@Cs4PbBr6 composite materials can perform higher optical properties due to the in-situ passivation of the generated Cs4PbBr6 NCs. Furthermore, the fabricated LED device exhibits bright white light emission with a color coordinate of (0.335, 0.337), the corresponding color temperature of 5390 K and a color rendering index of 82.1 under the injection current of 30 mA. These results demonstrate that the obtained CsPbBr3@Cs4PbBr6 NCs have a potential application in white light-emitting and display devices.

Abstract:The low stability and high toxicity of CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals (PNCs) greatly limit their application in the biological field. Here, six different CsPbBr3 PNCs were prepared by ligand-assisted reprecipitation (LARP) and hot injection using oleic acid (OA), oleamine (OAm), (3-Aminopropyl) triethoxysilane (APTES) modification and SiO2 coating, respectively. Different ligands, shells, and synthesis methods give CsPbBr3 PNCs diverse optical properties, stability, and biocompatibility. Among them, OA-OAm-APTES-CsPbBr3@SiO2 has the highest photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) (80.74%) and higher stability (fluorescence intensity remains 70% after 15 days in an atmospheric environment). OA-OAm-APTES-CsPbBr3@SiO2 (30 μg/mL) was cocultured with liver cancer cells for 12 h, and the survival rate was 80%, indicating high biocompatibility. Under the observation of the microplate reader, bright green fluorescence appeared in the cytoplasm, indicating that OA-OAm-APTES-CsPbBr3@SiO2 has great application potential in the field of bioimaging.

Abstract:Two new phosphine ligands, diphenylmethylphosphine (DPMP) and triphenylphosphine (TPP), were introduced onto cesium lead bromoiodide nanocrystals (CsPbBrI2 NCs) to improve air stability in the ambient atmosphere. Incorporating DPMP or TPP ligands can also enhance film-forming and optoelectronic properties of the CsPbBrI2 NCs. The results reveal that DPMP is a better ligand to stabilize the emission of CsPbBrI2 NCs than TPP after storage for 21 days. The increased carrier lifetime and photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) of perovskite NCs are due to the surface passivation by DPMP or TPP ligands, which reduces nonradiative recombination at the trap sites. The DPMP and TPP-treated CsPbBrI2 NCs were successfully utilized as red emitters for fabricating perovskite light-emitting diodes with enhanced performance and prolonged device lifetime relative to the pristine one.

Abstract:This study reports a simple one‐pot fabrication method to prepare CsPbBr3 nanocrystals (NCs) by combining a water bath heating method with surface engineering strategy. CsPbBr3 NCs with high stability and high photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) are finally synthesized through the common passivation of perovskite nanocrystals by cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and oleylamine (OLA). Although CsPbBr3 nanocrystals (NCs) show excellent optoelectronic properties, their stability greatly limits their potential applications due to the ionicity. Stable bromine‐rich CsPbBr3 nanocrystals (NCs) are achieved by the thermal injection method, which includes adding cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) to a cesium oleate precursor solution. The CTAB as a ligand provides strong binding to the NC surface to effectively passivate the surface defects, and most importantly helps to realize the formation of bromine‐rich CsPbBr3 NCs. The obtained bromine‐rich CsPbBr3 NCs show higher photoluminescence quantum yields (PLQYs) and enhanced moisture and UV illumination stability. These results provide a simple strategy to synthesize bromine‐rich CsPbBr3 NCs, which can be promising for integrating into the synthesize technique of perovskite optoelectronic devices.

Abstract:Inorganic lead halide perovskite (CsPbX3, X = Cl, Br, I) nanocrystals (LHP NCs) are promising materials for a variety of photonic or optoelectronic applications. Yet their intrinsic instability issue remains a critical challenge to overcome. Encapsulation of ionic LHP NCs in inert matrices such as polysiloxanes has been proved as an effective stabilization strategy, but the ex-situ synthesis of LHP NCs remains a limiting factor. Herein, an in-situ stabilization strategy that involves synergistic crystallization of LHP NCs and crosslinking of addition-type silicone oil precursors is reported. This simple, yet general stabilization strategy can effectively passivate the trap defects and increase the radiative recombination of CsPbX3 NCs, which leads to a significant enhancement of the photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) from 68% for the solution to 82% for the composite powder. A series of CsPbX3-silicone resin composites with tunable emission wavelength ranging from 445 to 613 nm can be simply obtained by using suitable halide salts. Because of the protection of the silicone resin, the CsPbBr3-silicone resin composites exhibit high stability against moisture or heat in the ambient environment and could still keep their photoluminescence (PL) emission after being kept in air for one year or immersed in water for two months. Such composites have been used as functional downconverters in white LEDs that demonstrated a 92.7% color gamut coverage of Rec.2020. This work provides an alternative approach to solve the challenging stability issue of perovskite NCs.

Abstract:Abstract Achieving good stability while maintaining excellent properties is one of the main challenges for enhancing the competitiveness of luminescent perovskite CsPbX 3 (X=Cl, Br, I) nanocrystals (NCs). Here, we propose a facile strategy to synthesize ceramic-like stable and highly luminescent CsPbBr 3 NCs by encapsulating them into silica derived from molecular sieve templates at high temperature (600–900 o C). The obtained CsPbBr 3 -SiO 2 powders not only show high photoluminescence quantum yield (~71%), but also show an exceptional stability comparable to the ceramic Sr 2 SiO 4 :Eu 2+ green phosphor. They can maintain 100% of their photoluminescence value under illumination on blue light-emitting diodes (LEDs) chips (20 mA, 2.7 V) for 1000 h, and can also survive in a harsh hydrochloric acid aqueous solution (1 M) for 50 days. We believe that the above robust stabilities will significantly enhance the potential of perovskite CsPbX 3 NCs to be practically applied in LEDs and backlight displays.

Abstract:Compositionally related cesium lead halide materials, such as CsPb2X5, have attracted great interest due to their considerable optoelectronic/optical properties as well as improved stability. Currently, CsPb2Br5 nanocrystals can be well-designed by tuning the ligands or precursor ratio, whereas, CsPb2X5 (with Cl- or I-) nanocrystals can only be obtained by the anion exchange method. Herein, we report a method to directly synthesize CsPb2X5 facilitated by thiol ligands. The morphology of CsPb2X5 can be designed as a nanowire. Importantly, the stability of directly synthesized CsPb2X5 nanowires is much improved when compared with the stabilities of the materials obtained by the anion-exchange method. We believe that this method will promote the application of 1D tetragonal CsPb2X5 in optoelectronics, optics and other fields.
Multivariant Ligands Stabilize Anionic Solvent-Oriented Α-Cspbx3 Nanocrystals at Room Temperature.

Abstract:Cubic phase CsPbX3 nanocrystals (NCs) are promising candidates for optoelectronic applications. However, their chemical stability heavily depends on the dynamic ionic surface. In this work, based on the interdependency of the ligands and the reaction solvent, a protocol is developed for high-quality α-CsPbX3 under ambient conditions. Utilizing this method, the size and full width at half maximum of CsPbX3 NCs can be simply tuned via changing the cationic ligands or reaction solvent, such as CH3Cl, CH2Cl2, or toluene. One remarkable result is the synthesis of cubic CsPbI3 NCs, for which large-scale syntheses have not been reported in the literature except for our method, due to significant phase transition at room temperature. Another result is that we have realized ultrasmall sized CsPbCl3 NCs with emission at 385 nm for the first time. Furthermore, the elimination of reaction solvent (such as ODE, DMSO, DMF) in our protocol reduces the purification-induced surface ligand loss and the irreversible phase transition to a nonfluorescent phase. Our CsPbX3 NCs show near-perfect photoluminescence quantum yield (PL QY) and long-term stability in the presence of moisture. Further characterization demonstrates that all the ligands, whether the initial paired X type or the degenerated hybrid L-X type, remain perfectly passivating on the defect sites throughout.
Luminescence and Stability Enhancement of Inorganic Perovskite Nanocrystals via Selective Surface Ligand Binding.

Abstract:Colloidal lead halide perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) have recently emerged as one of the most promising light-emitting materials for optoelectronic devices with outstanding performance. However, the facile detachment of surface capping organic ligands from these NCs leads to very poor colloidal stability and durability. This is mainly due to the weak interfacial interactions between the inorganic perovskite core and ligands, high density of surface defect states, and aggregation of NCs. Here, using a combination of time-resolved laser spectroscopy and density functional theory (DFT) calculations, we explored the major impact of surface orientations and terminations for both CsPbBr3 and Cs4PbBr6 NCs not only on the interfacial binding affinities with organic ligands but also on surface defect formation and NC aggregation. By rationalizing that surface trap states are responsible for the decrease in photoluminescence (PL) upon fabrication and purification, we propose a powerful ligand-engineering strategy for eliminating these trap states and preventing the aggregation of CsPbBr3 and Cs4PbBr6 NCs. Interestingly, we find that the surface orientation and dimensionality determine the degree of interfacial interactions between the inorganic perovskite core and ligands and subsequently control the overall PL intensity and NC stability. Our results demonstrate that a treatment of as-synthesized CsPbBr3 NCs consisting of the addition of extra oleylammonium bromide (OAmBr) as a capping ligand, allows the CsPbBr3 NCs to retain their green emission with increased PL intensity and quantum yields and improves colloidal durability. On the other hand, the ultraviolet emissions of Cs4PbBr6 NCs are effectively increased upon addition of extra cesium oleate (CsOL) as the trap states induced by surface cesium ions are largely reduced by the formation of Cs-O bonds. Our work provides a robust and adequate ligand engineering approach to significantly enhance the optical behavior of perovskite NCs with different dimensionalities and various compositions and to achieve more efficient and stable light-harvesting devices.

Abstract:Colloidal cesium lead halide perovskite nanocrystals (CsPbX 3 PNCs) are prone to instability due to low lattice energy and dynamic ionic bonding between the PNC core and the inorganic–organic interface. To address this issue, we propose a stapled ligand, perfluoroglutaric acid (PFGA), that can effectively passivate the surface of CsPbBr 3 PNCs through atomic-scale double chelating coordination with Pb 2+ between neighboring [PbBr 6 ] 4 − unit cells. Theoretical calculations show that this precise double chelating on the surface of CsPbBr 3 PNCs can achieve a much stronger bonding energy (−5.19 eV) compared to single-chelated perfluoroadipic acid (−1.42 eV) or other similar ligands with trivial changes in chain length. The PFGA enables CsPbBr 3 PNCs to achieve a high photoluminescence quantum yield of over 85% with a single acid as a capping agent, as well as outstanding dispersion in a variety of polar solvents. Furthermore, the PFGA-capped CsPbBr 3 PNCs exhibit excellent purification stability after five rounds of vigorous washing and long-term stability after more than six months of storage within ethanol, which has been successfully applied for chloride sensing in different circumstances. Our findings provide insight into the design of surface engineering strategies to produce highly emissive and stable PNCs and broaden the sensing field of PNCs in polar media.

Abstract:Abstract The red-emitting perovskite material has received widespread attention as a long-wavelength optical gain media. But the easy phase change in the air limits its practical application. Herein, red CsPbBr x I 3− x /SiO 2 quantum dots (QDs) are prepared by a ligand-mediated hot injection method in which 3-aminopropyl-triethoxysilane (APTES) is used instead of the usual oleylamine (OAm) ligand. Through the hydrolysis of amino groups, a thin silicon layer is formed on the QD surface, improving the stability and without causing the aggregation of QDs. We find that the ratio of I/Br and the size of QDs can be tuned by adjusting the APTES amount. Moreover, this ligand-mediated synthesis effectively passivates the surface defects, so the photoluminescence quantum yield is remarkably improved, and the carrier lifetime is prolonged. The amplified spontaneous emission is achieved under 532 nm nanosecond laser excitation. Compared with the original CsPbBrI 2 -OAm QD films, the threshold of CsPbBr x I 3− x /SiO 2 QD films is reduced from 403.5 to 98.7 μ J cm −2 , and the radiation stability is significantly enhanced. Therefore, this material shows great potential in the random laser field.

Abstract:All-inorganic cesium lead halide perovskites have shown great potential in optoelectronic field owing to their fascinating optical properties. Despite the huge success achieved in various fields, the applications of perovskite materials are impeded by their poor stability caused by their inherent ionic nature and highly dynamic surface nature. The preparation of CsPbBr 3 -Cs 4 PbBr 6 nanocrystals has proven to be effective strategy to enhance the photoluminescence properties and the stability. Herein, for the first time, we report a facile synthesis of CsPbBr 3 -Cs 4 PbBr 6 nanocrystals with diphase structure at room temperature using Cs-OA, Pb-OA and TOABr as precursors in toluene. It is found that the phase transformation and the relative composition between CsPbBr 3 and Cs 4 PbBr 6 is dependent of the concentration of TOABr and the ratio of Cs/Pb. In-situ PL experiments reveal that the formation of ~12 nm CsPbBr 3 nanocubes experience the fast nucleation, the focusing of size-distribution in early growth stage and Ostwald ripening growth in later stage at TOABr concentration of 0.16 mmol. With increasing the concentration of TOABr or Cs/Pb>1(Cs/Pb<1), [PbBr 4 ] 2- complex and [PbBr 3 ] - complex can exist at the same time and compete in toluene, the formation of CsPbBr 3 nucleates is dominated in the early stage, then CsPbBr 3- Cs 4 PbBr 6 nanocomposites are gradually formed on CsPbBr 3 nucleates as photoluminescence centers owing to the continuously generation of [PbBr 4 ] 2- complex between TOABr and Pb 2+ . The relative composition of Cs 4 PbBr 6 inCsPbBr 3- Cs 4 PbBr 6 nanocomposites can be improved from 4% to 85% with increasing the concentration of TOABr or Cs/Pb<1. The optimized CsPbBr 3 -Cs 4 PbBr 6 composite nanocrystals possess high PLQY and stability. Our work offers a mechanistic understanding of phase transformation in cesium lead halide perovskite materials.

Abstract:The room-temperature ligand-assisted reprecipitation (LARP) technique has been established as a facile and large-scale method for synthesizing lead halide perovskite nanocrystals (PNCs). However, it is difficult to purify these PNCs through precipitation/redispersion processes, arising from their fragile crystal structure and low PNC concentration. In this paper, we proposed to apply anisole as the reaction solvent, which has slightly increased polarity relative to the often used toluene. As a result, the as-synthesized CsPbBr3 PNCs can be easily isolated from the crude solution through direct centrifugation without adding antisolvents. The obtained purified CsPbBr3 (OA/OAm-CsPbBr3) PNCs capped with oleic acid (OA) and oleylamine (OAm) had a 50-fold improvement in molar production yields. Meanwhile, they showed a relatively high photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) of 64%. This method is also feasible for more fragile red-emitting PNCs. The obtained CsPbBrI2 PNCs with an emission maximum at 629 nm had a PLQY of 65% and a 7-fold improvement in molar production yields. Furthermore, when bromide-rich ligands [i.e., cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB)] were used, the PLQY of the purified CsPbBr3 (CTAB-CsPbBr3) PNCs can further increase to around 90%. Subsequently, for facile coating PNCs with polystyrene (PS), a mild polymerization method was established by adopting a low-temperature initiator. The fabricated CTAB-CsPbBr3@PS composite had a higher PLQY (77% vs 21%) and enhanced stability against water and heat, compared to that of the OA/OAm-CsPbBr3@PS composite. Finally, the CTAB-CsPbBr3@PS composite was demonstrated to produce super-wide color gamut (130% NTSC) backlights with a luminous efficacy of 71.1 lm/W.

Abstract:The instability and clumping of lead halide perovskite nanocrystals in polar solutions have limited their practical use. In this paper, a convenient and effective surface modification strategy was applied to substitute the typical oleic acid (OA) with 3-bromopropionic acid (BPA) ligand for the one-step synthesis of CsPbBr3 NCs in the absence of any inert gas atmosphere with water as the non-solvent. Thanks to the synergistic effect of BPA and OAm on the surface of CsPbBr3 NCs, it has excellent dispersibility while exhibiting excellent stability in water. Even after being fully submerged in water for 168 h, the material can still emit a vibrant green light, and the emission peak position is stable at 520 nm. In contrast, the CsPbBr3 NCs of the OA ligand were completely burst in water within minutes. This study opens the door for the direct synthesis and preservation of CsPbBr3 NCs in the aqueous phase, which will be an important step in advancing their large-scale applications in extreme environments.

Abstract:A simple hot‐injection method of synthesis employing ethylenediammonium dihalide as an additional ligand/halide source yields phase‐pure, monodispersed, stable, and highly luminescent CsPbX3 (X = Cl, Br, I, Cl/Br, and Br/I) perovskite NCs due to strong binding of the bidentate ligand (EDA2+) to the surface of the NCs and effective removal of the halide‐deficient trap states. Colloidal cesium lead halide (CsPbX3, X = Cl, Br, I) perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) hold promises in photovoltaic and optoelectronic applications. However, their poor long‐term stability results in degradation of optical properties under ambient conditions. Various methods have been explored to address these issues. In this study, we demonstrate that following 3‐precursor hot‐injection method employing ethylenediammonium dihalide (EDAX2) as an additional ligand/halide source one can obtain phase‐pure, monodispersed, stable, and highly luminescent CsPbX3 NCs. Our violet‐emitting CsPbCl3, blue‐emitting CsPbClBr2, Green‐emitting CsPbBr3, yellow‐emitting CsPbBr2I, and red‐emitting CsPbI3 NCs show PLQYs of 53%, 97%, 96%, 93%, and 95%, respectively. Moreover, the CsPbI3 NCs, which are known for their phase instability, exhibit stability for up to two months under ambient conditions. The enhanced stability and photoluminescence are attributed to strong binding of the bidentate ligand (EDA2+) to the surface of the NCs and effective removal of the halide‐deficiency trap states by X−.

Abstract:For the display applications of perovskite nanocrystals (NCs), the photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY), emission linewidth, and operational stability are the main parameters that directly affect the performance of the optoelectronic device. High‐temperature solid‐state synthesis has been regarded as an eco‐friendlier process to prepare perovskite NCs than colloidal synthesis. However, it is relatively difficult to control the sizes and size distribution of NCs at high temperatures, which usually results in a lower PLQY and wider emission. Here, highly stable CsPbBr3 NCs with a high PLQY up to 93% and a narrow emission linewidth of 18 nm are successfully prepared by a hard‐template solid‐state synthesis at high temperature (600 °C). It is found that the precisely confined growth of NCs in the thermally stable and uniform pores of the mesoporous silica (MS) template is the main reason to achieve the high PLQY and narrow emission, and the pre‐hydrolysis sealing strategy contributes to the exceptional stability. More surprisingly, the emission peak intensity of CsPbBr3/MS@SiO2 is 3.8 times higher than that of the commercialized silicate green phosphor when encapsulated on the blue‐chip with the same absorbance at 450 nm, which makes it an ideal down‐conversion emitter for display applications.
