This case represents an outlier, illustrating an exceptional rather than typical outcome. A recent case underscored the efficacy of ECPR when it was used in a young adult who endured 120 minutes of mechanical CPR before VA-ECMO was initiated, ultimately achieving full recovery without neurological deficits.
