Abstract:A 78-year-old female patient, previously diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (stage IIBE, tonsil) in 2019, underwent radiation therapy. After 3 years, she presented with a crater-shaped ulcer with elevated borders affecting the maxillary tuber, upper alveolar ridge, buccal mucosa, ipsilateral hard and soft palate, extending to the bottom of the sulcus and crossing the midline until the right upper canine. The patient experienced intense pain for three months. An incisional biopsy revealed granulation tissue, a mixed inflammatory process with large cells expressing CD20 and EBV-positive cells, plasma cells, and small lymphocytes, suggestive of EBV-positive mucocutaneous ulcer.
