Abstract:The main theme of this paper is that singular automorphic forms on classical groups are given by theta series liftings. We establish several inequalities relating the automorphic multiplicities of a given representation and that of its abstract theta lift. Our methods allow one to lift noncuspidal, square integrable automorphic forms when the dual pair involved is in the stable range. In this way we construct new families of singular automorphic forms, many of which are clearly unipotent. In fact, starting from one-dimensional representations and repeating the procedure (of lifting in the stable range), one may obtain all automorphic forms which are quadratic unipotent in the sense of Moeglin.

Abstract:We first propose two types of concepts of almost automorphic functions on the quantum time scale. Secondly, we study some basic properties of almost automorphic functions on the quantum time scale. Then, we introduce a transformation between functions defined on the quantum time scale and functions defined on the set of generalized integer numbers; by using this transformation we give equivalent definitions of almost automorphic functions on the quantum time scale; following the idea of the transformation, we also give a concept of almost automorphic functions on more general time scales that can unify the concepts of almost automorphic functions on almost periodic time scales and on the quantum time scale. Finally, as an application of our results, we establish the existence of almost automorphic solutions of linear and semilinear dynamic equations on the quantum time scale.

Abstract:In the present work, we revisit several structural properties of almost automorphic and compact almost automorphic functions from the Euclidean space ( ) with values in a Banach space . When is a Banach algebra, it is proven that the spaces formed by these functions are also Banach algebras. As applications, first we prove regularity of almost automorphic solution of Poisson's equation; that is, we prove that bounded continuous functions with weak (distributional) almost automorphic Laplacian are compact almost automorphic; then, we prove the compact almost automorphy in space variable of classical solutions to heat equation with almost automorphic initial datum.

Abstract:Since the publication of our first book [80], there has been a real resiu-gence of interest in the study of almost automorphic functions and their applications ([16, 17, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 40, 41, 42, 46, 51, 58, 74, 75, 77, 78, 79]). New methods (method of invariant s- spaces, uniform spectrum), and new concepts (almost periodicity and almost automorphy in fuzzy settings) have been introduced in the literature. The range of applications include at present linear and nonlinear evolution equations, integro-differential and functional-differential equations, dynamical systems, etc...It has become imperative to take a bearing of the main steps of the the ory. That is the main purpose of this monograph. It is intended to inform the reader and pave the road to more research in the field. It is not a self contained book. In fact, [80] remains the basic reference and fimdamental source of information on these topics. Chapter 1 is an introductory one. However, it contains also some recent contributions to the theory of almost automorphic functions in abstract spaces. VIII Preface Chapter 2 is devoted to the existence of almost automorphic solutions to some Unear and nonUnear evolution equations. It con tains many new results. Chapter 3 introduces to almost periodicity in fuzzy settings with applications to differential equations in fuzzy settings. It is based on a work by B. Bede and S. G. Gal [40].
Almost automorphic and bijective factors of substitution shifts

Abstract:In this article we completely characterise constant length substitution shifts which have an almost automorphic factor, or which have a bijective substitution factor. Our approach is algebraic: we study these dynamical properties in terms of a finite semigroup defined by the substitution. We characterise the existence of almost automorphic factors in terms of Green's R-relation, and the existence of bijective factors in terms of Green's L-relation. Our results are constructive.

Abstract:In this paper, we first propose a concept of compact almost automorphic functions on time scales, and study some basic properties of compact almost automorphic functions on time scales, including an equivalent characterization of compact almost automorphic functions on time scales, composition theorems of compact almost automorphic functions and the completeness of the space of compact almost automorphic functions. Then, as an application of our results, we prove the existence and global exponential stability of a class of Clifford-valued recurrent neural networks with time-varying delays on time scales, and demonstrate the feasibility of our results by an example.

Abstract:Let $\mathcal{G}$ be a non-empty subset of the Euclidean space $\mathbb{R}^m$ ($m \geq 1$). This work is dedicated to further exploring the properties of $\mathcal{G}$-multi-almost automorphic functions defined on $\mathbb{R}^m$ with values in a Banach space $\mathbb{X}$. Using the theory of $\mathcal{G}$-multi-almost automorphic functions, we provide two new characterizations of compact almost automorphic functions. In the first characterization, $\mathcal{G}$ corresponds to the lattice subgroup $\mathbb{Z}^m \subset \mathbb{R}^m$; in the second, $\mathcal{G}$ is taken to be a dense subset of $\mathbb{R}^m$. Furthermore, we establish the invariance of the space of bounded and compactly $\mathcal{G}$-multi-almost automorphic functions under integral operators with Bi-almost automorphic kernels. Finally, we present applications to the analysis of the almost automorphic dynamics of Poisson's equation and the heat equation.

Abstract:In the present work we give some sufficient conditions to obtain a unique almost automorphic solution to abstract nonlinear integral equations which are simultaneously of advanced and delayed type and also a unique asymptotically almost automorphic mild solution to abstract integro-differential equations with nonlocal initial conditions, both situations are posed on Banach spaces. Also, we develop a Bohr-Neugebauer type result for the abstract integral equations. Before that, we introduce the notion of $\lambda$-bounded functions, develop the appropriate abstract theory and discuss the almost periodic situation. As applications, we study the existence of an asymptotically almost automorphic solution to integro-differential equations modeling heat conduction in materials with memory and also the existence of the almost automorphic solution to semilinear parabolic evolution equations with finite delay.

Abstract:In this paper we deal with monogenic and $k$-hypermonogenic automorphic forms on arithmetic subgroups of the Ahlfors-Vahlen group. Monogenic automorphic forms are exactly the 0-hypermonogenic automorphic forms. In the first part we establish an explicit relation between $k$-hypermonogenic automorphic forms and Maaß wave forms. In particular, we show how one can construct from any arbitrary non-vanishing monogenic automorphic form a Clifford algebra valued Maaß wave form. In the second part of the paper we compute the Fourier expansion of the $k$-hypermonogenic Eisenstein series which provide us with the simplest non-vanishing examples of $k$-hypermonogenic automorphic forms.

Abstract:In this paper, we decompose the space of nearly holomorphic Hilbert-Siegel automorphic forms as representations of the adele group under certain assumptions. We also give an application for classical holomorphic Hilbert-Siegel modular forms. In particular, we show the surjectivity of the global Siegel operator for certain congruence subgroups with large weights.

Abstract:Let $H^\infty$ denotes the algebra of all bounded analytic functions on the unit disk. It is well-known that every (algebra) automorphism of $H^\infty$ is a composition operator induced by disc automorphism. Maurya et al., (J. Math. Anal. Appl. 530 : Paper No: 127698, 2024) proved that every automorphism of the subalgebras $\{f\in H^\infty : f(0) = 0\}$ or $\{f\in H^\infty : f'(0) = 0\}$ is a composition operator induced by a rotation. In this article, we give very simple proof of their results. As an interesting generalization, for any $\psi\in H^\infty$, we show that every automorphism of $\psi H^\infty$ must be a composition operator and characterize all such composition operators. Using this characterization, we find all automorphism of $\psi H^\infty$ for few choices of $\psi$ with various nature depending on its zeros.

Quantum Automorphism Groups of Hypergraphs

Abstract:We introduce a quantum automorphism group for hypergraphs, which turns out to generalize the quantum automorphism group of Bichon for classical graphs. Further, we show that our quantum automorphism group acts on hypergraph C*-algebras as recently defined. In particular, this action generalizes the one on graph C*-algebras by Schmidt-Weber in 2018.

Abstract:We provide a complete classification of the algebraicity of (generalized) hypergeometric functions with no restriction on the set of their parameters. Our characterization relies on the interlacing criteria of Christol (1987) and Beukers-Heckman (1989) for globally bounded and algebraic hypergeometric functions, however in a more general setting which allows arbitrary complex parameters with possibly integral differences. We also showcase the adapted criterion on a variety of different examples.
