Abstract:Derivations play a fundamental role in the definition of vertex (operator) algebras, sometimes regarded as a generalization of differential commutative algebras. This paper studies the role played by the integral counterpart of the derivations, namely Rota-Baxter operators, in vertex (operator) algebras. The closely related notion of dendriform algebras is also defined for vertex operator algebras. It is shown that the classical relations among dendriform algebras, associative algebras, and Rota-Baxter algebras are preserved for their vertex algebra analogs.

Abstract:In this paper, we first prove that a Rota-Baxter family algebra indexed by a semigroup induces an ordinary Rota-Baxter algebra structure on the tensor product with the semigroup algebra. We show that the same phenomenon arises for dendriform and tridendriform family algebras. Then we construct free dendriform family algebras in terms of typed decorated planar binary trees. Finally, we generalize typed decorated rooted trees to typed valently decorated Schröder trees and use them to construct free tridendriform family algebras.

Abstract:The Rota-Baxter operator and the modified Rota-Baxter operator on various algebras are both important in mathematics and mathematical physics. The former is originated from the integration-by-parts formula and probability with applications to the renormalization of quantum field theory and the classical Yang-Baxter equation. The latter originated from Hilbert transformations with applications to ergodic theory and the modified Yang-Baxter equation. Their merged form, called the extended Rota-Baxter operators, has also found interesting applications recently.

Abstract:We introduce the notion of an anti-dendriform algebra as a new approach of splitting the associativity. It is characterized as the algebra with two multiplications giving their left and right multiplication operators, respectively, such that the opposites of these operators define a bimodule structure on the sum of these two multiplications, which is associative. This justifies the terminology due to a closely analogous characterization of a dendriform algebra. The notions of anti- -operators and anti-Rota–Baxter operators on associative algebras are introduced to interpret anti-dendriform algebras. In particular, there are compatible anti-dendriform algebra structures on associative algebras with nondegenerate commutative Connes cocycles. There is an important observation that there are correspondences between certain subclasses of dendriform and anti-dendriform algebras in terms of q -algebras. As a direct consequence, we give the notion of Novikov-type dendriform algebras as an analogue of Novikov algebras for dendriform algebras, whose relationship with Novikov algebras is consistent with the one between dendriform and pre-Lie algebras. Finally, we extend to provide a general framework of introducing the notions of analogues of anti-dendriform algebras, which interprets a new splitting of operations.

Abstract:In the present article we define and investigate relative Rota--Baxter operators and relative averaging operators on racks and rack algebras. Also, if B is a Rota--Baxter or averaging operator on a rack X, then we can extend B by linearity to the rack algebra k[X]. On the other side, we have definitions of Rota--Baxter and averaging operators on arbitrary algebra. We find connections between these operators. In particular, we prove that if B : X --> X is an averaging operator on a rack, then its linear extension on a rack algebra k[X] gives an averaging operator.

Abstract:In this paper, we mainly research Rota-Baxter co-operators on commutative Hopf algebras. We get a new Hopf algebra and some Hopf co-braces via Rota-Baxter co-operators on commutative Hopf algebras. Finally, we generalize Rota-Baxter co-operators to relative Rota-Baxter co-operators of Hopf algebras, construct a Hopf cobrace by a relative Rota-Baxter co-operator of commutative Hopf algebra, and establish the relation of relative Rota-Baxter co-operators and bijective 1-cocycles.

Abstract:Family algebraic structures indexed by a semigroup first appeared in the algebraic aspects of renormalizations in quantum field theory. The concept of the Rota-Baxter family and its relation with (tri)dendriform family algebras have been recently discovered. In this paper, we first consider a notion of $\mathcal{O}$-operator family as a generalization of the Rota-Baxter family and define two variations of associative Yang-Baxter family that produce $\mathcal{O}$-operator families. Given a Hochschild $2$-cocycle on the underlying algebra, we also define a notion of twisted $\mathcal{O}$-operator family (in particular twisted Rota-Baxter family). We also introduce and study NS-family algebras as the underlying structure of twisted $\mathcal{O}$-operator families. Finally, we define suitable cohomology of twisted $\mathcal{O}$-operator families and NS-family algebras (in particular cohomology of Rota-Baxter families and dendriform family algebras) that govern their deformations.

Abstract:This paper studies the relationship of Rota-Baxter operators on cocommutative Hopf algebras with Hopf braces and the Yang-Baxter equation, with emphasis on the embedding of cocommutative Hopf braces into Rota-Baxter Hopf algebras. Through Hopf braces, we establish a connection between relative Rota-Baxter operators on cocommutative Hopf algebras and bijective 1-cocycles. Abstract:M. Goncharov introduced and studied a Rota--Baxter operator on a cocommutative Hopf algebra. In the present paper we define relative Rota--Baxter operators on an arbitrary Hopf algebra. A particular case of this definition is Goncharov's operator. On a Hopf algebra with a relative Rota--Baxter operator we define new associative operation and construct a new Hopf algebra and Hopf brace. Further, we construct Rota--Baxter operators of integer weights on some groups. The question on a possibility to define operator of zero weight on groups was formulated by X. Gao, L. Guo, Y. Liu, and Z.-C. Zhu. In the last section we construct a family of two generated Hopf algebras. This family includes some known Hopf algebras, in particular, 4-dimensional Sweedler algebra $H_4$.

Abstract:We know definition of Rota--Baxter operators on different algebraic systems. For examples, on groups, on algebras, on Hopf algebras. On some algebraic systems it is possible to define different types of Rota--Baxter operators. For example, on group algebra it is possible to define Rota--Baxter operator as on associative algebra, group Rota--Baxter operator and Rota--Baxter operator as on a Hopf algebra. We are investigating the following question: What are connections between these operators? We are studying these questions for the Sweedler algebra $H_4$, that is 4-dimension non--cocommutative Hopf algebra.

Abstract:This paper investigates Rota-Baxter associative algebras of of arbitrary weights, that is, associative algebras endowed with Rota-Baxter operators of arbitrary weights from an operadic viewpoint. Denote by $\RB$ the operad of Rota-Baxter associative algebras. A homotopy cooperad is explicitly constructed, which can be seen as the Koszul dual of $\RB$ as it is proven that the cobar construction of this homotopy cooperad is exactly the minimal model of $\RB$. This enables us to give the notion of homotopy Rota-Baxter associative algebras. The deformation complex of a Rota-Baxter associative algebra and the underlying $L_\infty$-algebra structure over it are exhibited as well.

Abstract:Rota--Baxter operators over groups have been recently defined in \cite{LHY2021}, and they share a close connection with skew braces, as demonstrated in \cite{VV2022}. In this paper, we classify all Rota--Baxter operators of weight 1 over the Heisenberg Lie algebra of dimension 3 by directly solving the operators defining equations. Using the fact that the exponential map from the Heisenberg Lie algebra to the Heisenberg Group is bijective, we induces these operators to the Heisenberg Group. Finally, we enumerate all skew left brace structures over the Heisenberg Group induced by these Rota--Baxter operators.

Abstract:In the paper, we introduce the notion of a Rota-Baxter operator of a non-scalar weight. As a motivation, we show that there is a natural connection between Rota-Baxter operators of this type and structures of quasitriangular Lie bialgebras on a quadratic finite-dimensional Lie algebra. Moreover, we show that some classical results on Lie bialgebra structure on simple finite-dimensional Lie algebras can be obtained from the corresponding results for Rota-Baxter operators.
