Abstract:In this paper, we explore the properties of the Ellis-Jaffe Sum Rule (EJSR) in detail, employing the Principle of Maximum Conformality (PMC) approach to address its perturbative QCD contribution including next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order ($\rm N^{3}LO$) QCD corrections. Using the PMC, we attain a precise perturbative QCD approximate for the EJSR, without the conventional ambiguity associated with the renormalization scale. Given the presence of the $\alpha_s$ Landau pole near the asymptotic scale, we also utilize the low-energy $\alpha_s$ model based on the analytic perturbative theory (APT) to recalibrate the EJSR behavior in the infrared region. By combining the PMC approach with the low-energy APT model, we achieved theoretical predictions of EJSR that align well with the experiments. Using deep learning, we also fit the contribution of the quark spin to the nucleon spin $\Delta \Sigma$ and ultimately obtain $\Delta \Sigma \approx 0.23^{+0.02}_{-0.06}$, consistent with global fit results $\Delta \Sigma = 0.24\pm0.07$.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The problem that this paper attempts to solve is to improve the theoretical prediction accuracy of the Ellis - Jaffe and rule (EJSR), especially by eliminating the uncertainties arising from different choices of renormalization scale in traditional methods. Specifically, the authors adopt the Principle of Maximum Conformality (PMC) method to deal with the perturbative quantum chromodynamics (pQCD) contributions of EJSR, including the next - to - next - to - next - to - leading order (N3LO) QCD corrections. Through this method, they hope to obtain an EJSR theoretical prediction value that is more consistent with experimental data and can accurately extract the contribution of quark spin to nucleon spin (\(\Delta\Sigma\)). To achieve this goal, the following measures are taken in the paper: 1. **Utilize the PMC method**: By using the PMC method, the influence of the choice of renormalization scale on the EJSR theoretical prediction is eliminated, thereby reducing theoretical uncertainties. 2. **Combine with the low - energy \(\alpha_{s}\) model**: Due to the Landau pole problem of \(\alpha_{s}\) in the low - energy region, the authors adopt a low - energy \(\alpha_{s}\) model based on Analytic Perturbation Theory (APT) to calibrate the behavior of EJSR in the infrared region. 3. **Use deep - learning techniques**: In order to further improve the prediction accuracy of \(\Delta\Sigma\), the authors also use deep - learning methods to fit the contribution of quark spin to nucleon spin, and finally obtain \(\Delta\Sigma\approx0.23^{+ 0.02}_{-0.06}\), which is consistent with the global fitting result \(\Delta\Sigma = 0.24\pm0.07\). Through these methods, the paper not only improves the theoretical prediction accuracy of EJSR, but also verifies the effectiveness of the adopted methods, providing a new perspective for understanding the nucleon structure.
