Abstract:In this note we show that Nambu structures of coorder 1 can always be linearized if they admit a closed integrable differential form. In particular, we show that a unimodular Poisson structure whose isotropy Lie algebra at a singular point is $\mathfrak{sl}(2,\mathbb{R})$, can always be linearized.

Abstract:We consider a linearization problem for Nijenhuis operators in dimension two around a point of scalar type in analytic category. The problem was almost completely solved in [8]. One case, however, namely the case of left-symmetric algebra , proved to be difficult. Here we solve it and, thus, complete the solution of the linearization problem for Nijenhuis operators in dimension two. The problem turns out to be related to classical results on the linearization of vector fields and their monodromy mappings.

Abstract:The subject for investigation in this note is concerned with holomorphic Poisson structures on nilmanifolds with abelian complex structures. As a basic fact, we establish that on such manifolds, the Dolbeault cohomology with coefficients in holomorphic polyvector fields is isomorphic to the cohomology of invariant forms with coefficients in invariant polyvector fields. We then quickly identify the existence of invariant holomorphic Poisson structures. More important, the spectral sequence of the Poisson bi-complex associated to such holomorphic Poisson structure degenerates at $E_2$. We will also provide examples of holomorphic Poisson structures on such manifolds so that the related spectral sequence does not degenerate at $E_2$.

Algebraic structures in Lagrangian Floer cohomology modelled on differential forms

Abstract:We define a structure of an algebra on the Lagrangian Floer cohomology of a Lagrangian submanifold over the quantum cohomology of the ambient symplectic manifold. The structure is analogous to the one defined by Biran-Cornea, but is constructed in the differential forms model. In the spirit of Ganatra and Hugtenburg, we define another such algebra structure using a closed-open map. We show that the two structures coincide. As an application, we show that the module structure for the 2-dimensional Clifford torus is given by multiplication by a Novikov coefficient, similarly to the Biran-Cornea module structure for this case.

Abstract:For the vanishing deformation parameter $\lambda$, the full structure of the (anti)commutator relations in the ${\cal N}=4$ supersymmetric linear $W_{\infty}[\lambda=0]$ algebra is obtained for arbitrary weights $h_1$ and $h_2$ of the currents appearing on the left hand sides in these (anti)commutators. The $w_{1+\infty}$ algebra can be seen from this by taking the vanishing limit of other deformation parameter $q$ with the proper contractions of the currents. For the nonzero $\lambda$, the complete structure of the ${\cal N}=4$ supersymmetric linear $W_{\infty}[\lambda]$ algebra is determined for the arbitrary weight $h_1$ together with the constraint $h_1-3 \leq h_2 \leq h_1+1$. The additional structures on the right hand sides in the (anti)commutators, compared to the above $\lambda=0$ case, arise for the arbitrary weights $h_1$ and $h_2$ where the weight $h_2$ is outside of above region.

Abstract:We investigate theories of Nambu-Goldstone bosons where the spontaneously broken continuous symmetry is non-invertible. In such theories, the vacua generically parameterize an orbifold. We study in detail the simplest example of a single free scalar with shift symmetry, modded by reflection symmetry. At singular points of the vacuum manifold, we show that the spectrum of NG excitations is reduced, in particular there are no single-particle states. At the smooth points, on the other hand, single NG modes are present. We show that this is a consequence of the fact that at those points one can construct invertible operators implementing the continuous symmetry on the Hilbert space.

Abstract:We describe an $N=2$ supersymmetric Poisson vertex algebra structure of $N=1$ (resp. $N=0$) classical $W$-algebra associated with $\mathfrak{sl}(n+1|n)$ and the odd (resp. even) principal nilpotent element. This $N=2$ supersymmetric structure is connected to the principal $\mathfrak{sl}(2|1)$-embedding in $\mathfrak{sl}(n+1|n)$ superalgebras, which are the only basic Lie superalgebras that admit such a principal embedding.

Abstract:We extend the Nambu bracket to 1-forms. Following the Poisson-Lie case, we define Nambu-Lie groups as Lie groups endowed with a multiplicative Nambu structure. A Lie group G with a Nambu structure P is a Nambu-Lie group iff P=0 at the unit and the Nambu bracket of left (right) invariant forms is left (right) invariant. We define a corresponding notion of a Nambu-Lie algebra. We give several examples of Nambu-Lie groups and algebras.

Abstract:We investigate for N = 1 supersymmetry (SUSY) the relation between a scalar supermultiplet of linear SUSY and a nonlinear (NL) SUSY model including apparently pathological higher derivaive terms of a Nambu-Goldstone (N-G) fermion besides the Volkov-Akulov (V-A) action. SUSY invariant relations with higher derivative terms of the N-G fermion, which connect the linear and NL SUSY models, are constructed at leading orders by heuristic arguments. We discuss a higher derivative action of the N-G fermion in the NL SUSY model, which apparently includes a (Weyl) ghost field. By using this relation, we also explicitly prove an equivalence between the standard NL SUSY V-A model and our NL SUSY model with the pathological higher derivatives as an example with respect to the universality of NL SUSY actions with the N-G fermion.

Abstract:As is well-known, the dimension of the space spanned by the non-degenerate invariant symmetric bilinear forms (NISes) on any simple finite-dimensional Lie algebra or Lie superalgebra is equal to at most 1 if the characteristic of the algebraically closed ground field is not 2. We prove that in characteristic 2, the superdimension of the space spanned by NISes can be equal to 0, or 1, or $0|1$, or $1|1$; it is equal to $1|1$ if and only if the Lie superalgebra is a queerification (defined in <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="1407.1695" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1407.1695">arXiv:1407.1695</a>) of a simple classically restricted Lie algebra with a NIS (for examples, mainly in characteristic distinct from 2, see <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="1806.05505" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1806.05505">arXiv:1806.05505</a>). We give examples of NISes on deformations (with both even and odd parameters) of several simple finite-dimensional Lie superalgebras in characteristic 2. We also recall examples of multiple NISes on simple Lie algebras over non-closed fields.

Abstract:The four different kinds of currents are given by the multiple $(\beta,\gamma)$ and $(b,c)$ ghost systems with a multiple product of derivatives. We determine their complete algebra where the structure constants depend on the deformation parameter $\lambda$ appearing in the conformal weights of above fields nontrivially and depend on the generic spins $h_1$ and $h_2$ appearing on the left hand sides in the (anti)commutators. By taking the linear combinations of these currents, the ${\cal N}=4$ supersymmetric linear $W_{\infty}[\lambda]$ algebra (and its ${\cal N}=4$ superspace description) for generic $\lambda$ is obtained explicitly. Moreover, we determine the ${\cal N}=2$ supersymmetric linear $W_{\infty}[\lambda]$ algebra for arbitrary $\lambda$. As a by product, the $\lambda$ deformed bosonic $W_{1+\infty}[\lambda] \times W_{1+\infty}[\lambda+\frac{1}{2}]$ subalgebra (a generalization of Pope, Romans and Shen's work in $1990$) is obtained. The first factor is realized by $(b,c)$ fermionic fields while the second factor is realized by $(\beta,\gamma)$ bosonic fields. The degrees of the polynomials in $\lambda$ for the structure constants are given by $(h_1+h_2-2)$. Each $w_{1+\infty}$ algebra from the celestial holography is reproduced by taking the vanishing limit of other deformation prameter $q$ at $\lambda=0$ with the contractions of the currents.

Abstract:In this paper, we give a unified description of morphisms and comorphisms of $n$-Lie-Rinehart algebras. We show that these morphisms and comorphisms can be regarded as two subalgebras of the $\psi$-sum of $n$-Lie-Rinehart algebras. We also provide similar descriptions for morphisms and comorphisms of $n$-Lie algebroids. It is proved that the category of vector bundles with Nambu-Poisson structures of rank $n$ and the category of their dual bundles with $n$-Lie algebroid structures of rank $n$ are equivalent to each other.

Abstract:In this short note we discuss certain examples of Legendrian submanifolds, whose linearized Legendrian contact (co)homology groups over integers have non-vanishing algebraic torsion. More precisely, for a given arbitrary finitely generated abelian group $G$ and a positive integer $n\geq 3$, $n\neq 4$, we construct examples of Legendrian submanifolds of the standard contact vector space $\mathbb R^{2n+1}$, whose $n-1$-th linearized Legendrian contact (co)homology over $\mathbb Z$ computed with respect to a certain augmentation is isomorphic to $G$.

Abstract:Consider a decomposition $\mathfrak{n} = \mathfrak{n}_1 \oplus \cdots \oplus \mathfrak{n}_r$ of the positive nilradical of a complex semisimple Lie algebra of rank $r$, where each $\mathfrak{n}_k$ is a module under an appropriate Levi factor. We show that this can be quantized as a finite-dimensional subspace $\mathfrak{n}^q_k = \mathfrak{n}^q_1 \oplus \cdots \oplus \mathfrak{n}^q_r$ of the positive part of the quantized enveloping algebra, where each $\mathfrak{n}^q_k$ is a module under the left adjoint action of a quantized Levi factor. Furthermore, we show that $\mathbb{C} \oplus \mathfrak{n}^q$ is a left coideal, with the possible exception of components corresponding to some exceptional Lie algebras. Finally we use these quantizations to construct covariant first-order differential calculi on quantum flag manifolds, compatible in a certain sense with the decomposition above, which coincide with those introduced by Heckenberger-Kolb in the irreducible case.
