Abstract:Using a semi-symmetric metric connection, we construct Frenet frame and curvatures of curves in 3-dimensional manifolds and give examples of semi-symmetric Frenet curves in Euclidean, Sasakian and Kenmotsu manifolds.

Abstract:In this paper, we give a Gauss–Bonnet–Chern formula for real Finsler vector bundles with respect to any metric-compatible connection. The key idea is to modify any given metric-compatible connection to be a new metric-compatible connection with some special properties. As a corollary, a Gauss–Bonnet–Chern formula for Finsler manifolds with respect to any metric-compatible connection is established.

Abstract:The conformai properties of complex Finsler metrics are studied. We first give a characterization of a compact complex Finsler manifold to be globally conformai Kahler. By considering the total holomorphic curvature and total Ricci curvature in the volume preserved conformal classes, we then study the variational properties of Kahler Finsler metrics. By studying the spectral properties of two average metrics, the stabilities of critical Kähler Finsler metrics are verified. Finally, a Yamabe type problem for mean holomorphic Ricci curvature is considered, and a partial existence result is obtained.

Abstract:The aim of this paper is to study triharmonic curves in three dimensional f-Kenmotsu manifolds. We investigate necessary and sufficient conditions for Frenet curves, and specifically for slant and Legendre curves to be triharmonic. Then we prove that triharmonic Frenet curves with constant curvature are Frenet helices in three dimensional f-Kenmotsu manifolds. Next, we give a nonexistence theorem that there is no triharmonic Legendre curve in three dimensional f-Kenmotsu manifolds.
Para-Sasaki-like Manifolds with Generalized Symmetric Metric Connection

Abstract:The present paper deals with the generalized symmetric metric connection defined on para-Sasaki-like manifolds. We derive a relation between the Levi-Civita connection and the generalized symmetric metric conneciton on the considered manifold. We investigate the curvature tensor, the Ricci tensor and scalar curvature tensor with respect to the generalized symmetric metric connection. We study para-Sasaki-like solitons on para-Sasaki-like manifolds with the generalized symmetric metric connection. Finally, we construct two examples of para-Sasaki-like manifolds admitting generalized symmetric metric connection and verify our some results.

Abstract:In this study, we introduce the natural mate and conjugate mate of a Frenet curve in a three dimensional Lie group $ \mathbb{G} $ with bi-invariant metric. Also, we give some relationships between a Frenet curve and its natural mate or its conjugate mate in $ \mathbb{G} $. Especially, we obtain some results for the natural mate and the conjugate mate of a Frenet curve in $ \mathbb{G} $ when the Frenet curve is a general helix, a slant helix, a spherical curve, a rectifying curve, a Salkowski (constant curvature and non-constant torsion), anti-Salkowski (non-constant curvature and constant torsion), Bertrand curve. Finally, we give nice graphics with numeric solution in Euclidean 3-space as a commutative Lie group.

Abstract:In this study, we determine a new type comprehensive frame, which is called the generalized Frenet‐type frame in three‐dimensional Lie groups with Myller configurations, and it includes several special and classical type frames for Euclidean 3‐space and three‐dimensional Lie groups. After constructing this new comprehensive frame, we obtain derivative formulas with the help of the Lie curvature. In addition, we define some special type curves. The geometry of versor fields along a curve with Frenet‐type frame in three‐dimensional Lie groups with Myller configurations is a generalization of the usual theory of curves. Since this particular relationship, the osculating‐type and rectifying‐type curves with Frenet‐type frame in three‐dimensional Lie groups with Myller configurations include some special cases for osculating and rectifying curves in different spaces.

This paper employs the fractional derivative to investigate the effect of curves in Lorentz–Minkowski space, which is of crucial significance in geometry and physics. In the method of examining this effect, the conformable fractional derivative is chosen because it best fits the algebraic structure of differential geometry. Therefore, with the aid of conformable fractional derivatives, numerous special curves and the Frenet frame that were previously derived using classical derivatives have been reinterpreted in Lorentz–Minkowski three-space.

Constant sectional curvature surfaces with a semi-symmetric non-metric connection

Abstract:Consider the Euclidean space $\mathbb{R}^3$ endowed with a canonical semi-symmetric non-metric connection determined by a vector field $\mathsf{C}\in\mathfrak{X}(\mathbb{R}^3)$. We study surfaces when the sectional curvature with respect to this connection is constant. In case that the surface is cylindrical, we obtain full classification when the rulings are orthogonal or parallel to $\mathsf{C}$. If the surface is rotational, we prove that the rotation axis is parallel to $\mathsf{C}$ and we classify all conical rotational surfaces with constant sectional curvature. Finally, for the particular case $\frac12$ of the sectional curvature, the existence of rotational surfaces orthogonally intersecting the rotation axis is also obtained.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce semi-symmetric metric Koszul forms and semi-symmetric non-metric Koszul forms on singular semi-Riemannian manifolds. Semi-symmetric metric Koszul forms and semi-symmetric non-metric Koszul forms and their curvature of semi-regular warped products are expressed in terms of those of the factor manifolds. We also introduce Koszul forms associated to the almost product structure on singular almost product semi-Riemannian manifolds. Koszul forms associated to the almost product structure and their curvature of semi-regular almost product warped products are expressed in terms of those of the factor manifolds. Furthermore, we generalize the results in \cite{St2} to singular multiply warped products.

Abstract:The S-curvature is one of most important non-Riemannian quantities in Finsler geometry. It delicately related to Riemannian quantities. This note gives an explicit construction of 3-parameter family of non-locally projectively flat Finsler metrics of non-constant isotropic S-curvature. The necessary and sufficient condition that these Finsler metrics are of constant flag curvature is given.

Abstract:The objective of this paper is to explore the complete lifts of a quarter-symmetric metric connection from a Sasakian manifold to its tangent bundle. A relationship between the Riemannian connection and the quarter-symmetric metric connection from a Sasakian manifold to its tangent bundle was established. Some theorems on the curvature tensor and the projective curvature tensor of a Sasakian manifold with respect to the quarter-symmetric metric connection to its tangent bundle were proved. Finally, locally φ-symmetric Sasakian manifolds with respect to the quarter-symmetric metric connection to its tangent bundle were studied.

Abstract:We develop the method of anholonomic frames with associated nonlinear connection (in brief, N--connection) structure and show explicitly how geometries with local anisotropy (various type of Finsler--Lagrange--Cartan--Hamilton geometry) can be modeled in the metric--affine spaces. There are formulated the criteria when such generalized Finsler metrics are effectively induced in the Einstein, teleparallel, Riemann--Cartan and metric--affine gravity. We argue that every generic off--diagonal metric (which can not be diagonalized by coordinate transforms) is related to specific N--connection configurations. We elaborate the concept of generalized Finsler--affine geometry for spaces provided with arbitrary N--connection, metric and linear connection structures and characterized by gravitational field strengths, i. e. by nontrivial N--connection curvature, Riemannian curvature, torsion and nonmetricity. We apply a irreducible decomposition techniques (in our case with additional N--connection splitting) and study the dynamics of metric--affine gravity fields generating Finsler like configurations. The classification of basic eleven classes of metric--affine spaces with generic local anisotropy is presented.

Abstract:The paper will study a new quarter-symmetric non-metric connection on a generalized Riemannian manifold. It will determine the relations that the torsion tensor satisfies. The exterior derivative of the skew-symmetric part $F$ of generalized metric $G$ with respect to the Levi-Civita connection coincides with that of skew-symmetric part $F$ with respect to quarter-symmetric non-metric connection, which implies that the even-dimensional manifold endowed with $F$ is symplectic manifold if and only if it is closed with respect to quarter-symmetric non-metric connection. The linearly independent curvature tensors of this connection and its dual connection are determined and the properties of these tensors are discussed. Finally, the condition is given that the connection should be dual symmetric.

An analogous connection to the symmetric Yano connection is obtained on a normal almost contact manifold with Norden metric and closed structural 1-form. The curvature properties of this connection are studied on two basic classes of normal almost contact manifolds with Norden metric.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce a broad class of metrics on the slit tangent bundle of Finsler manifolds, termed \emph{$F$-natural metrics}. These metrics parallel the well-established $g$-natural metrics on the tangent bundles of Riemannian manifolds and are constructed using six real functions defined over the domain of positive real numbers. We provide an in-depth characterization of conformal, homothetic, and Killing vector fields derived from specific lifts of vector fields and tensor sections on the slit tangent bundle, which is equipped with a general pseudo-Riemannian $F$-natural metric.

Abstract:In this paper, we define the semi-symmetric metric connection on the algebra of differential forms. We compute some special semi-symmetric metric connections and their curvature tensor and their Ricci tensor on the algebra of differential forms. We study the distribution on the algebra of differential forms and we get its Gauss-Codazzi-Ricci equations associated to the semi-symmetric metric connection. We also study the Lie derivative of the distribution on the algebra of differential forms. We define the canonical connection and the Schouten connection and the Vrancreanu connection on the algebra of differential forms and get some properties of these connections.
