Abstract:We give a categorical formulation of the $p$-adic local Langlands correspondence for $\mathrm{GL}_2(\mathbb{Q}_p)$,as an embedding of the derived category of locally admissible representations into the category of Ind-coherent sheaves on the moduli stack of two-dimensional representations of $\mathrm{Gal}(\overline{\mathbb{Q}}_p/\mathbb{Q}_p)$. Moreover, we relate our version of the $p$-adic local Langlands correspondence for $\mathrm{GL}_2(\mathbb{Q}_p)$ to the cohomology of modular curves through a local-global compatibility formula.

Abstract:We state a conjecture, local Langlands in families, connecting the centre of the category of smooth representations on $\mathbb{Z}[\sqrt{q}^{-1}]$-modules of a quasi-split $p$-adic group $\mathrm{G}$ (where $q$ is the cardinality of the residue field of the underlying local field), the ring of global functions on the stack of Langlands parameters for $\mathrm{G}$ over $\mathbb{Z}[\sqrt{q}^{-1}]$, and the endomorphisms of a Gelfand-Graev representation for $\mathrm{G}$. For a class of classical $p$-adic groups (symplectic, unitary, or split odd special orthogonal groups), we prove this conjecture after inverting an integer depending only on $\mathrm{G}$. Along the way, we show that the local Langlands correspondence for classical $p$-adic groups (1) preserves integrality of $\ell$-adic representations; (2) satisfies an "extended" (generic) packet conjecture; (3) is compatible with parabolic induction up to semisimplification (generalizing a result of Moussaoui), hence induces a semisimple local Langlands correspondence; and (4) the semisimple correspondence is compatible with automorphisms of $\mathbb{C}$ fixing $\sqrt{q}$.

Abstract:In this paper we prove a novel result on two categories that appear in the local Langlands correspondence, for generalized Steinberg representations. Let $G$ be a semisimple reductive group split over a $p$-adic field $F$. The main result of this paper shows that category of modules over the extension algebra of generalized Steinberg representations of $G(F)$ appears as a full subcategory of equivariant perverse sheaves on the variety of Langlands parameters for these representations.

Abstract:We prove that the reduction mod \ell of the local Langlands correspondence between supercuspidal representations of GL_n(F), where F is a finite extension of Q_p, and representations of the Galois group of F is well-defined. The results and methods of this paper have been used by Vigneras to give a proof of the ``local Langlands conjecture mod \ell'', that was proved earlier by her by different methods (local harmonic analysis mod \ell) for \ell>n. Unlike the local methods used earlier by Vigneras, our more global method also generalises well to the characteristic p case.

Abstract:Using the results of J. Arthur on the representation theory of classical groups with additional work by Colette Moeglin and its relation with representations of affine Hecke algebras established by the author, we show that the category of smooth complex representations of a split $p$-adic classical group and its pure inner forms is naturally decomposed into subcategories which are equivalent to a tensor product of categories of unipotent representations of classical groups (in the sense of G. Lusztig). A statement of this kind had been conjecture by G. Lusztig. All classical groups (general linear, orthogonal, symplectic and unitary groups) appear in this context. We get also parameterizations of representations of affine Hecke algebras, which seem not all to be in the literature yet. All this should also shed some light on what is known as the stable Bernstein center.

Abstract:Let $F$ be a nonarchimedean local field of residue characteristic $p$, let $\hat{G}$ be a split reductive group over $\mathbb{Z}[1/p]$ with an action of $W_F$, and let $^LG$ denote the semidirect product $\hat{G}\rtimes W_F$. We construct a moduli space of Langlands parameters $W_F \to {^LG}$, and show that it is locally of finite type and flat over $\mathbb{Z}[1/p]$, and that it is a reduced local complete intersection. We give parameterizations of the connected components and the irreducible components of the geometric fibers of this space, and parameterizations of the connected components of the total space over $\overline{\mathbb{Z}}[1/p]$ (under mild hypotheses) and over $\overline{\mathbb{Z}}_{\ell}$ for $\ell\neq p$. In each case, we show precisely how each connected component identifies with the "principal" connected component attached to a smaller split reductive group scheme. Finally we study the GIT quotient of this space by $\hat{G}$ and give a complete description of its fibers up to homeomorphism, and a complete description of its ring of functions after inverting an explicit finite set of primes depending only on $^LG$.

An Iwahori theoretic mod $p$ Local Langlands Correspondence

Abstract:We extend a comparison theorem of Anandavardhanan-Borisagar between the quotient of the induction of a mod $p$ character by the image of an Iwahori-Hecke operator and compact induction of a weight to the case of the trivial character. This involves studying the corresponding non-commutative Iwahori-Hecke algebra. We use this to give an Iwahori theoretic reformulation of the (semi-simple) mod $p$ Local Langlands Correspondence discovered by Breuil and reformulated functorially by Colmez. This version of the correspondence is expected to have applications to computing the mod $p$ reductions of semi-stable Galois representations.

For a curve $X$ and a group $G$ over a local field $F$, in the tamely ramified setting one considers the variety $\operatorname{Bun}_G$ of stable $G$-bundles on $X$ with Borel reduction at a finite subset $S\subset X$ of points. On one side of this conjectural correspondence there are Hecke operators on $L^2(\operatorname{Bun}_G)$, the Hilbert space of square-integrable half-densities on $\operatorname{Bun}_G$; on the other side there are certain opers with regular singularities at $S$. In this paper we prove the main conjectures of analytic Langlands correspondence in the case $G = \operatorname{PGL}_2$, $X=\mathbb{P}^1_{\mathbb{C}}$ with wild ramification, i.e. when several points in $S$ are collided together.

In particular we explain a canonical decomposition of the space of cuspidal automorphic forms for any reductive group G over a function field, indexed by global Langlands parameters. Abstract:Let $F$ be a CM field and $\Pi$ a regular algebraic cuspidal cohomological representation of $\mathbf{G}=\operatorname{PGL}_2/F$. A conjecture of Venkatesh describes the structure of the contribution of $\Pi$ to the homology of the locally symmetric spaces associated to $\mathbf{G}$. We investigate this conjecture in the setting of $p$-adic homology with $p$ a totally split prime. Along the way, we elaborate on the relations between Venkatesh's conjecture and completed homology, the Taylor-Wiles method and the $p$-adic local Langlands correspondence. Our main result is a `big $R=T$' theorem in characteristic 0, from which we deduce a variant of the $p$-adic realisation of Venkatesh's conjecture, conditional on various natural conjectures and technical assumptions.

Abstract:We extend the Langlands program in various subprograms with certain different generalizations: (1) Mixed-parity functorial perturbation of the usual Langlands program after Fargues-Scholze in all characteristics; (2) Robba-Frobenius sheafified functorial perturbation of the usual Langlands program after Fargues-Scholze and Kedlaya-Liu in all characteristics; (3) Arithmetic $D$-module theoretic functorial perturbation of the usual Langlands program after Fargues-Scholze and Abe-Kedlaya-Xu. In certain localized setting we construct Langlands correspondence from smooth representation side to Weil side through geometrized generalized Bernstein center.

A Jacquet-Langlands functor for $p$-adic locally analytic representations

Abstract:We study the locally analytic theory of infinite level local Shimura varieties. As a main result, we prove that in the case of a duality of local Shimura varieties, the locally analytic vectors of different period sheaves at infinite level are independent of the actions of the $p$-adic Lie groups $G$ and $G_b$ of the two towers; this generalizes a result of Pan for the Lubin-Tate and Drinfeld spaces for $GL_2$. We apply this theory to show that the $p$-adic Jacquet-Langlands functor of Scholze commutes with the passage to locally analytic vectors, and is compatible with central characters of Lie algebras. We also prove that the compactly supported de Rham cohomology of the two towers are isomorphic as smooth representations of $G\times G_b$.

Abstract:Colmez, Dospinescu and Niziol have shown that the only $p$-adic representations of $\rm{Gal}(\bar{\mathbb{Q}}_p/\mathbb{Q}_p)$ appearing in the $p$-adic étale cohomology of the coverings of Drinfeld's half-plane are the $2$-dimensional cuspidal representations (i.e. potentially semi-stable, whose associated Weil-Deligne representation is irreducible) with Hodge-Tate weights $0$ and $1$ and their multiplicities are given by the $p$-adic Langlands correspondence. We generalise this result to arbitrary weights, by considering the $p$-adic étale cohomology with coefficients in the symmetric powers of the universal local system on Drinfeld's tower. A novelty is the appearance of potentially semistable $2$-dimensional non-cristabelian representations, with expected multiplicity. The key point is that the local systems we consider turn out to be particularly simple: they are "isotrivial opers" on a curve. We develop a recipe to compute the proétale cohomology of such a local system using the Hyodo-Kato cohomology of the curve and the de Rham complex of the flat filtered bundle associated to the local system.

Abstract:We extend the local Langlands conjectures to a certain class of disconnected groups, allowing non-abelian component groups, and recast in this language some aspects of twisted endoscopy. We further introduce normalized twisted transfer factors and a normalized correspondence between an $L$-packet for a disconnected group and the set of representations of the centralizer groups of its Langlands parameter.

Abstract:Long ago, Fontaine formulated conjectures (now theorems) relating étale and de Rham cohomologies of algebraic varieties over $p$-adic fields. In an earlier work we have shown that pro-étale and de Rham cohomologies of analytic varieties in the two extreme cases: proper and Stein, are also related. In the proper case, the comparison theorems are similar to those for algebraic varieties, but for Stein varieties they are quite different. In this paper, we state analogs of Fontaine's conjectures for general smooth dagger varieties, that interpolate between these two extreme cases, and we prove them for many ``small'' varieties (cases we deal with include products of overconvergent affinoids and proper varieties, analytifications of algebraic varieties, or "almost proper" dagger varieties). The proofs use a ``geometrization'' of all involved cohomologies in terms of quasi-Banach-Colmez spaces (qBC's for short, quasi- because we relax the finiteness conditions). The heart of the proof relies on delicate properties of BC's and qBC's. These properties should be of independent interest and we have devoted a large part of the paper to them.
