Abstract:Topology can manifest topological magnetism (e.g., skyrmion and bimeron) in real space and quantum anomalous Hall (QAH) state in momentum space, which have changed the modern conceptions of matter phase. While the topologies in different spaces are widely studied separately, their coexistence and coupling in single phase is seldomly explored. Here, we report a novel phenomenon that arises from the interaction of topological magnetism and band topology, the multi-space topology, in 2D ferromagnetic lattice. Based on continuum theory and tight-binding model, we reveal that the interconnection between skyrmion/bimeron and QAH state generates distinctive localized chiral bound states (CBSs). With moderating topological magnetism through magnetic field, the multi-space topologies accompanied with different CBSs can be reversed, facilitating the coupling of multi-space topologies. By performing firstprinciples and atomic spin model simulations, we further demonstrate such multi-space topologies and their coupling in monolayer Cr2NSb. These results represent an important step towards the development of multispace topological phenomena in 2D lattice.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The problem this paper attempts to address is the exploration of the interaction and coupling between topological magnetism and band topology in 2D ferromagnetic lattices, thereby revealing multi-space topological phenomena. Specifically, the authors study the interaction between topological magnetism (such as skyrmions and bimerons) and the quantum anomalous Hall (QAH) state through theoretical models and experimental validation, and how this interaction generates unique chiral bound states (CBSs). Additionally, the paper explores the possibility of tuning topological magnetism through magnetic fields to achieve multi-space topological switching and coupling. ### Main Research Content: 1. **Theoretical Model**: - Using continuum theory and tight-binding models, the connection between skyrmions/bimerons and the QAH state is revealed, generating unique chiral bound states (CBSs). - By tuning the magnetic field, multi-space topologies associated with different CBSs can be switched, thereby achieving the coupling of multi-space topologies. 2. **Experimental Validation**: - Through first-principles calculations and atomic spin model simulations, these multi-space topologies and their strong coupling phenomena are validated in monolayer Cr₂NSb material. ### Research Significance: - **Enrichment of Topological Physics**: These findings not only enrich the theoretical foundation of topological physics but also provide new ways to control multi-space topologies. - **Application Prospects**: The controllability of multi-space topologies offers potential application prospects for developing high-performance spintronic devices. ### Key Terms: - **Topological Magnetism**: Such as skyrmions and bimerons, which have non-zero real-space geometric phases (i.e., topological charges). - **Quantum Anomalous Hall Effect (QAH)**: Characterized by a non-zero momentum space geometric phase (i.e., Chern number), ensuring the stability of edge states. - **Chiral Bound States (CBSs)**: Localized states generated by the interaction between topological magnetism and the QAH state, with specific spatial distribution characteristics. Through these studies, the paper provides important theoretical and experimental evidence for understanding and controlling multi-space topological phenomena.
