Abstract:In \cite{Go}, Gökbaş defined a new type of number sequence called Leonardo-Alwyn sequence. In this paper, we consider the generalized Leonardo-Alwyn hybrid numbers and investigate some of their properties. We also give some applications related to the generalized Leonardo-Alwyn hybrid numbers in matrices.

Abstract:The hybrid numbers were introduced by Ozdemir [9] as a new generalization of complex, dual, and hyperbolic numbers. A hybrid number is defined by $k=a+bi+c\epsilon +dh$, where $a,b,c,d$ are real numbers and $% i,\epsilon ,h$ are operators such that $i^{2}=-1,\epsilon ^{2}=0,h^{2}=1$ and $ih=-hi=\epsilon +i$. This work is intended as an attempt to introduce the bi-periodic Horadam hybrid numbers which generalize the classical Horadam hybrid numbers. We give the generating function, the Binet formula, and some basic properties of these new hybrid numbers. Also, we investigate some relationships between generalized bi-periodic Fibonacci hybrid numbers and generalized bi-periodic\ Lucas hybrid numbers.

Abstract:In \cite{Oz}, M. Özdemir defined a new non-commutative number system called hybrid numbers. In this paper, we define the hybrid Fibonacci and Lucas numbers. This number system can be accepted as a generalization of the complex ($\textbf{i}^{2}=-1$), hyperbolic ($\textbf{h}^{2}=1$) and dual Fibonacci number ($\varepsilon^{2}=0$) systems. Furthermore, a hybrid Fibonacci number is a number created with any combination of the complex, hyperbolic and dual numbers satisfying the relation $\textbf{ih}=-\textbf{hi}=\varepsilon+\textbf{i}$. Then we used the Binet's formula to show some properties of the hybrid Fibonacci numbers. We get some generalized identities of the hybrid Fibonacci and hybrid Lucas numbers.

Abstract:Hybrid numbers are introduced as a linear combination of complex, dual and hyperbolic numbers, where hybrid units satisfy , and , respectively. The main motivation of this study is to present dual hybrid numbers and dual hybrid matrices. In this context, we first give some results of hybrid numbers related to complex and hyperbolic numbers. Afterward, we define hybrid matrix representation of a dual hybrid matrix by introducing dual hybrid matrices whose elements consist of dual hybrid numbers. Since dual hybrid numbers are not commutative, it is necessary to examine the right and left eigenvalues of dual hybrid matrices separately. In this article, we focus on the right eigenvalues of dual hybrid matrices and give some of their properties. Finally, we provide hybrid matrix representations of dual hybrid numbers and support our results with an example

Abstract:In the present work, a new sequence of quaternions related to the Leonardo numbers -- named the Leonardo quaternions sequence -- is defined and studied. Binet's formula and certain sum and binomial-sum identities, some of which derived from the mentioned formula, are established. Tagiuri-Vajda's identity and, as consequences, Catalan's identity, d'Ocagne's identity and Cassini's identity are presented. Furthermore, applying Catalan's identity, and the connection between composition algebras and vector cross product algebras, Gelin-Cesàro's identity is also stated and proved. Finally, the generating function, the exponential generating function and the Poisson generating function are deduced. In addition to the results on Leonardo quaternions, known results on Leonardo numbers and on Fibonacci quaternions are extended.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce dual numbers with components including Leonardo number sequences. This novel approach facilitates our understanding of dual numbers and properties of Leonardo sequences. We also investigate fundamental properties and identities associated with Leonardo number sequences, such as Binet's formula and Catalan's, Cassini's and D'ocagne's identities. Furthermore, we also introduce a dual vector with components including Leonardo number sequences and dual angles. This extension not only deepens our understanding of dual numbers, it also highlights the interconnectedness between numerical sequences and geometric concepts. In the future it would be valuable to replicate a similar exploration and development of our findings on dual numbers with Leonardo number sequences.

Abstract:In this article, we introduce a class of generalized matrix algebras, in which each algebra is called a normally upper triangular gm algebra, and characterise Gorenstein projective modules over this class of algebras. Moreover, a sufficient condition of strongly Gorenstein projective modules over normally upper triangular gm algebras is given. The importance of normally upper triangular gm algebras for us is that it includes the so-called path algebras of quivers over algebras and generalized path algebras. Due to this, we characterize Gorenstein projective modules and strongly Gorenstein projective modules over path algebras of quivers over algebras and generalized path algebras as applications of the main results on normally upper triangular gm algebras. At last, we give an example to show how all indecomposable Gorenstein projective modules over a given algebra are constructed by the result on generalized path algebras.

Abstract:In this study, we discussed the Leonardo number sequence, which has been studied recently and caught more attention. We used Pascal and Hosoya-like triangles to make it easier to examine the basic properties of these numbers. With the help of the properties obtained in this study, we defined a number sequence containing the new type of Leonardo numbers created by choosing the coefficients from the bicomplex numbers. Furthermore, we gave the relationship of this newly defined sequence with the Fibonacci sequence. We also provided some important identities in the literature provided by the elements of this sequence described in this paper.

Abstract:We introduce a new class of symmetric algebras, which we call hybrid algebras. This class contains on one extreme Brauer graph algebras, and on the other extreme general weighted surface algebras. We show that hybrid algebras are precisely the blocks of idempotent algebras of weighted surface algebras, up to socle deformations. More generally, for tame symmetric algebras whose Gabriel quiver is 2-regular, we show that the tree class of an arbitrary Auslander–Reiten component is Dynkin or Euclidean or one of the infinite trees or .

Abstract:The main aim of this paper is to introduce generalized quaternions with hyper-number coefficients. For this, firstly, a new number system is defined, which is the generalization of bicomplex numbers, hyper-double numbers and hyper-dual numbers. And any element of this generalization is called a hyper-number. Then, real matrix representation and vector representation of a hyper-number are given. Secondly, hyper-number generalized quaternions and their algebraic properties are introduced. For a hyper-number generalized quaternion, real generalized quaternion matrix representation is presented. Next, because of lack of commutativity, for a hyper-number generalized quaternion, two different hyper-number matrix representations are calculated. Moreover, real matrix representations of a hyper-number generalized quaternion is expressed by matrix representation of a hyper-number. Finally, vector representations of a hyper-number generalized quaternion are given and properties of this representations are investigated.

Abstract:We define a new generalization of Catalan numbers to multinomial coefficients. With arithmetic methods, we study their integrality and the integrality of their Lucasnomial generalization. We give a complete characterization of regular Lucas sequences for which they yield integers up to finitely many cases.

We give some properties of this new generalization and some relations between the generalized order-k Lucas numbers and generalized order-k Fibonacci numbers. Abstract:We introduce hypergeometric-type sequences. They are linear combinations of interlaced hypergeometric sequences (of arbitrary interlacements). We prove that they form a subring of the ring of holonomic sequences. An interesting family of sequences in this class are those defined by trigonometric functions with linear arguments in the index and $\pi$, such as Chebyshev polynomials, $\left(\sin^2\left(n\,\pi/4\right)\cdot\cos\left(n\,\pi/6\right)\right)_n$, and compositions like $\left(\sin\left(\cos(n\pi/3)\pi\right)\right)_n$.

Abstract:We introduce and study higher genera generalizations of the Halphen theory of continued fractions. The basic notion we start with is hyperelliptic Haplhen (HH) element $$\frac{\sqrt{X_{2g+2}}-\sqrt{Y_{2g+2}}}{x-y},$$ depending on parameter $y$, where $X_{2g+2}$ is a polynomial of degree $2g+2$ and $Y_{2g+2}=X_{2g+2}(y)$. Abstract:The Huneke-Wiegand conjecture is a decades-long open question in commutative algebra. García-Sánchez and Leamer showed that a special case of this conjecture concerning numerical semigroup rings $\Bbbk[\Gamma]$ can be answered in the affirmative by locating certain arithmetic sequences within the numerical semigroup $\Gamma$. In this paper, we use their approach to prove the Huneke-Wiegand conjecture in the case where $\Gamma$ is generated by a generalized arithmetic sequence and showcase how visualizations can be leveraged to find the requisite arithmetic sequences.
