Abstract:Let $X$ be a compact complex manifold which admits a hermitian metric satisfying a curvature condition introduced by Guan-Li. Given a semipositive form $\theta$ with positive volume, we define the Monge-Ampère operator for unbounded $\theta$-psh functions and prove that it is continuous with respect to convergence in capacity. We then develop pluripotential tools to study degenerate complex Monge-Ampère equations in this context, extending recent results of Tosatti-Weinkove, Kolodziej-Nguyen, Guedj-Lu and many others who treat bounded solutions.

On Sobolev spaces of bounded subanalytic manifolds

Abstract:We focus on the Sobolev spaces of bounded subanalytic submanifolds of . We prove that if M is such a manifold then the space is dense in (the kernel of the trace operator) for all , where is the codimension in M of the singular locus of (which is always at least 2). In the case where M is normal, i.e. when is connected for every and small, we show that is dense in for all such p . This yields some duality results between and in the case where and is a bounded subanalytic open subset of . As a byproduct, we deduce uniqueness of the (weak) solution of the Dirichlet problem associated with the Laplace equation. We then prove a version of Sobolev's Embedding Theorem for subanalytic bounded manifolds, show Gagliardo–Nirenberg's inequality (for all ), and derive some versions of Poincaré–Friedrichs' inequality. We finish with a generalization of Morrey's Embedding Theorem.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the sharp Poincaré inequality and the Sobolev inequalities in the higher order Lorentz--Sobolev spaces in the hyperbolic spaces. These results generalize the ones obtained in \cite{Nguyen2020a} to the higher order derivatives and seem to be new in the context of the Lorentz--Sobolev spaces defined in the hyperbolic spaces.

Abstract:In this note, we will prove an inequality for almost plurisubharmonic functions on any Kahler-Einstein manifolds with positive scalar curvature. Abstract: Let $u$ be a smooth, strictly $k$-plurisubharmonic function on a bounded domain $\Omega\in\mathbb C^n$ with $2\leq k\leq n$. The purpose of this paper is to study the regularity of solution to the linearized complex Monge-Amp\`ere and Hessian equations when the complex $k$-Hessian $H_k[u]$ of $u$ is bounded from above and below. We first establish some estimates of Green's functions associated to the linearized equations. Then we prove a class of new Sobolev inequalities. With these inequalities, we use Moser's iteration to investigate the a priori estimates of Hessian equations and their linearized equations, as well as the K\"ahler scalar curvature equation. In particular, we obtain the Harnack inequality for the linearized complex Monge-Amp\`ere and Hessian equations under an extra integrability condition on the coefficients. The approach works in both real and complex case.

Abstract:Sharp Moser-Trudinger type inequalities and their extremal functions play an important role in studying nonlinear PDEs and geometry. We establish a new sharp Moser-Trudinger type inequality in the upper half space in two dimensions and prove the existence of extremal functions for a sharp Moser-Trudinger type inequality under dynamic changes in the unit ball.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the relations between trace inequalities (Sobolev and Moser-Trudinger types), isocapacitary inequalities, and the regularity of the complex Hessian and Monge-Ampère equations with respect to a general nonnegative Borel measure. We obtain a quantitative characterization for these relations through the properties of the capacity-minimizing functions.

Abstract:We establish a new family of the critical higher order Sobolev interpolation inequalities for radial functions as well as for non-radial functions. These Sobolev interpolation inequalities are sharp in the sense that they use the optimal quadratic forms of the sharp Hardy-Rellich inequalities and cover the Sobolev critical exponents. Our results extend those studied by Dietze and Nam in [15] for the first order derivative case to higher order setting. The well-known Pólya-Szegö symmetrization principle and the nonlinear ground state representation play an important role in the work of [15]. To overcome the absence of the Pólya-Szegö principle and the nonlinear ground state representation in the higher order case, our proofs rely on the Fourier analysis and a higher order verion of the Talenti comparison principle. We also study a new version of the critical Hardy-Sobolev interpolation inequality involving the critical quadratic form of the Hardy inequality and Lorentz norms. Our critical Hardy-Sobolev interpolation inequality complements the result of Dietze and Nam in [15].

Abstract:In this paper, we establish some Stein-Weiss type inequalities with general kernels on the upper half space and study the existence of extremal functions for this inequality with the optimal constant. Furthermore, we also investigate the regularity, asymptotic estimates, symmetry and non-existence results of the positive solutions of the corresponding Euler-Lagrange integral system. As an application, we finally derive some Liouville type results for the Hartree type equations in the half space.

Abstract:Bourgain–Morrey spaces , generalizing what was introduced by J. Bourgain, play an important role in the study related to the Strichartz estimate and the nonlinear Schrödinger equation. In this article, via adding an extra exponent , the authors creatively introduce a new class of function spaces, called Besov–Bourgain–Morrey spaces , which is a bridge connecting Bourgain–Morrey spaces with amalgam-type spaces . By making full use of the Fatou property of block spaces in the weak local topology of , the authors give both predual and dual spaces of . Applying these properties and the Calderón product, the authors also establish the complex interpolation of . Via fully using fine geometrical properties of dyadic cubes, the authors then give an equivalent norm of having an integral expression, which further induces a boundedness criterion of operators on . Applying this criterion, the authors obtain the boundedness on of classical operators including the Hardy–Littlewood maximal operator, the fractional integral, and the Calderón–Zygmund operator.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the modulus of continuity of solutions to Dirichlet problems for complex Monge-Ampère equations with $L^p$ densities on Stein spaces with isolated singularities. In particular, we prove such solutions are Hölder continuous outside singular points if the boundary data is Hölder continuous.

Abstract:We study the spaces of $(d + d^c)$-harmonic forms and $(d + d^\Lambda)$-harmonic forms, the natural generalization of the spaces of Bott-Chern harmonic forms, resp. symplectic harmonic forms from complex, resp. symplectic, manifolds to almost Hermitian manifolds. With the same techniques, we also prove that Bott-Chern and Aeppli numbers of compact complex surfaces depend only on the topology of the underlying manifold, a fact that was well-known for Hodge numbers of compact complex surfaces. We give several applications to compact quotients of Lie groups by a lattice.
