Abstract:We study the global wellposedness of the Euler-Monge-Ampère (EMA) system. We obtain a sharp, explicit critical threshold in the space of initial configurations which guarantees the global regularity of EMA system with radially symmetric initial data. The result is obtained using two independent approaches -- one using spectral dynamics of Liu & Tadmor [Comm. Math. Physics 228(3):435-466, 2002] and another based on the geometric approach of Brenier & Loeper [Geom. Funct. Analysis 14(6):1182--1218, 2004]. The results are extended to 2D radial EMA with swirl.

By the method of moving planes, we show that under the above conditions, all the positive solutions are radially symmetric and monotone decreasing about some point x0 if pi=(n+2α)/(n−2α) for each 1≤i≤m; and the only nonnegative solution of this system is u ≡ 0 if 1〈pi〈(n+2α)/(n−2α) for all 1≤i≤m.

Abstract:This note is devoted to the discussion on the existence and blow up of the solutions to the parabolic elliptic type Patlak-Keller-Segel system on the whole space case. The problem in two dimension is closely related to the Logarithmic Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev inequality, which directly introduced the critical mass $8\pi$. While in the higher dimension case, it is related to the Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev inequality. Therefore, a porous media type nonlinear diffusion has been introduced in order to balance the aggregation. We will review the critical exponents which were introduced in the literature, namely, the exponent $m=2-2/n$ which comes from the scaling invariance of the mass, and the exponent $m=2n/(n+2)$ which comes from the conformal invariance of the entropy. Finally a new result on the model with a general potential, inspired from the Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev inequality, will be given.

On Global Existence of 3D Charge Critical Dirac-Klein-Gordon System: Small Radial Data in the Scale Invariant Space

Abstract:In this paper, we prove the global well-posedness property of charge critical Dirac-Klein-Gordon (DKG) system in $\mathbb{R}^{3+1}$ for small initial data in a space of scale invariant data which has extra weighted regularity in the angular variables. Therefore, by finite speed propagation, we could also derive the local well-posedness property for large initial data in the same space. To author's knowledge, our result appears to be the first result on the critical 3D DKG.

We consider the existence and asymptotic behavior on mass of positive solutions to the following system −Δu + λ1u = μ1u3 + α1|u|p−2u + βv2u in R4, −Δv + λ2v = μ2v3 + α2|v|p−2v + βu2v in R4, under the normalized mass constraints ∫R4u2 = a21 and ∫R4v2 = a22, where a1, a2 are prescribed, μ1, μ2, β > 0, α1, α2 ∈ R, p ∈ (2, 4) and λ1, λ2 ∈ R appear as Lagrange multipliers. Firstly, we establish a non-existence result for the repulsive interaction case, i.e., αi < 0(i = 1, 2). Then turning to the case of αi > 0(i = 1, 2), if 2 < p < 3, we show that the problem admits a ground state and an excited state. Moreover, we give a precise asymptotic behavior of these two solutions as (a1, a2) → (0, 0) and a1 ~ a2. This seems to be the first contribution regarding the multiplicity as well as synchronized mass collapse behavior of normalized solutions to Schrödinger systems with Sobolev critical exponent. When 3 ≤ p < 4, we prove an existence as well as a non-existence (p = 3) results of ground states. Abstract:In this paper, we consider systems of fractional Laplacian equations in Er with nonlinear terms satisfying some quite general structural conditions. These systems were categorized critical and subcritical cases. We show that there is no positive solution in the subcritical cases, and we classify all positive solutions u(i) in the critical cases by using a direct method of moving planes introduced in Chen-Li-Li [11] and some new maximum principles in Li-Wu-Xu [27].

Abstract:This paper deals with the parabolic–elliptic Keller–Segel system on R 2 , involving a source term of logistic type defined in terms of the mass capacity M 0 and the total mass of the individuals. We exhibit that the qualitative behaviour of solutions is decided by the mass capacity M 0 and the initial mass m 0 . For general solutions, the existence of a global weak solution is proved under the assumption that both M 0 and m 0 are less than 8π, whereas there exist solutions blowing up in finite time under the hypotheses of either M 0 > 8 π with any integrable initial data or M 0 < 8 π < m 0 accompanied with large initial data. Moreover, m 0 < M 0 = 8 π gives rise to a compromise that solutions exist globally and blow up as time goes to infinity. For radially symmetric solutions, we introduce a strategy of relegating the lack of mass conservation via a transformation to the density and then obtain that there are stationary solutions given by U s , λ ( r ) = 8 λ ( r 2 + λ ) 2 with λ > 0. Abstract:In this article, we study the asymptotics of the positive solutions of the Euler–Lagrange system of the weighted Hardy–Littlewood–Sobolev in R n [ u(x) = 1/|x|^α∫_R^nv(y)^q/|y|^β|x-y|^λ dy,; v(x) = 1/|x|^β∫_R^nu(y)^p/|y|^α|x-y|^λ dy. ] A new iterative method is introduced to obtain the optimal weighted local integrability of u ( x ). By this new method, we establish the asymptotic estimates of the solutions around the origin and near infinity. With these new estimates, we complete the study of the asymptotic behavior of the solutions. We believe this new iterative method and the new type of the weighted local estimates can be used in many other cases.

We further show the stability of the solution under perturbation of initial data. Our construction starts with the existence of the solution to the truncated subcritical problem. Abstract:We solve the Jang equation with respect to asymptotically hyperbolic "hyperboloidal" initial data in dimensions n = 4, 5, 6, 7. This gives a non-spinor proof of the positive mass theorem in the asymptotically hyperbolic setting in these dimensions. Our work extends an earlier result of [Sak21] obtained in dimension n = 3.

Our construction starts with the existence of solution to the truncated subcritical problem. With the presence of truncation, we construct the solution to the critical equation as the limit of subcritical solutions. Abstract:We study radial symmetry of entire solutions of the equation Delta(2)u = 8(N - 2) (N - 4)e(u) in R-N (N >= 5). It is known that (0.1) admits infinitely many radially symmetric entire solutions. These solutions may have either a (negative) logarithmic behaviour or a (negative) quadratic behaviour at infinity. Up to translations, we know that there is only one radial entire solution with the former behaviour, which is called 'maximal radial entire solution', and infinitely many radial entire solutions with the latter behaviour, which are called 'non-maximal radial entire solutions'. The necessary and sufficient conditions for an entire solution u of (0.1) to be the maximal radial entire solution are presented in [7] recently. In this paper, we will give the necessary and sufficient conditions for an entire solution u of (0.1) to be a non-maximal radial entire solution.
