Abstract:We survey some results on counting the rational points of moduli spaces of quiver representations. We then make generalizations to Grassmannians and flags of quiver representations. These results have nice applications to the cluster algebra. Along the way, we use the full Hopf structure of the Hall algebra of a quiver.

Abstract:We count the 𝔽 q -rational points of GIT quotients of quiver representations with relations. We focus on two types of algebras – one is one-point extended from a quiver Q, and the other is the Dynkin A 2 tensored with Q. For both, we obtain explicit formulas. We study when they are polynomial-count. We follow the similar line as in the first paper but algebraic manipulations in Ringel-Hall algebra will be replaced by corresponding geometric constructions.

Abstract:Based on the work of Ringel and Green, one can define the (Drinfeld) double Ringel–Hall algebra D(Q) of a quiver Q as well as its highest weight modules. The main purpose of the present paper is to show that the basic representation L(Λ0) of D(Δn) of the cyclic quiver Δn provides a realization of the q-deformed Fock space ⋀∞ defined by Hayashi. This is worked out by extending a construction of Varagnolo and Vasserot. By analysing the structure of nilpotent representations of Δn, we obtain a decomposition of the basic representation L(Λ0) which induces the Kashiwara–Miwa–Stern decomposition of ⋀∞ and a construction of the canonical basis of ⋀∞ defined by Leclerc and Thibon in terms of certain monomial basis elements in D(Δn).

Abstract:We construct an isomorphism between the preprojective cohomological Hall algebra of an arbitrary quiver and a positive half of the corresponding Maulik-Okounkov Yangian, which intertwines the respective actions on the cohomology of the Nakajima quiver varieties. We use this to prove a conjecture of Okounkov relating the character of the Maulik-Okounkov Lie algebra to Kac polynomials.

Abstract:Using the generators labelled by simple and sincere semisimple modules for the Ringel–Hall algebra Hq(n) of a cyclic quiver Δ(n), we give a presentation for the degenerate algebra H0(n). This is achieved by establishing a presentation for the generic extension monoid algebra of Δ(n). As an application, we show that both the degenerate Ringel–Hall algebra and the degenerate quantum affine sln admit multiplicative bases.

Abstract:For a quiver with potential, we can associate a vanishing cycle to each representation space. If there is a nice torus action on the potential, the vanishing cycles can be expressed in terms of truncated Jacobian algebras. We study how these vanishing cycles change under the mutation of Derksen-Weyman-Zelevinsky. The wall-crossing formula leads to a categorification of quantum cluster algebras under some assumption. This is a special case of A. Efimov's result, but our approach is more concrete and down-to-earth. We also obtain a counting formula relating the representation Grassmannians under sink-source reflections.

Abstract:Let Q be a quiver. M. Reineke and A. Hubery investigated the connection between the composition monoid, as introduced by M. Reineke, and the generic composition algebra, as introduced by C. M. Ringel, specialised at q=0. In this thesis we continue their work. We show that if Q is a Dynkin quiver or an oriented cycle, then the composition algebra at q=0 is isomorphic to the monoid algebra of the composition monoid. Moreover, if Q is an acyclic, extended Dynkin quiver, we show that there exists an epimorphism from the composition algebra at q=0 to the monoid algebra of the composition monoid, and we describe its non-trivial kernel. Our main tool is a geometric version of BGP reflection functors on quiver Grassmannians and quiver flags, that is varieties consisting of filtrations of a fixed representation by subrepresentations of fixed dimension vectors. These functors enable us to calculate various structure constants of the composition algebra. Moreover, we investigate geometric properties of quiver flags and quiver Grassmannians, and show that under certain conditions, quiver flags are irreducible and smooth. If, in addition, we have a counting polynomial, these properties imply the positivity of the Euler characteristic of the quiver flag.

CoHA of Cyclic Quivers and an Integral Form of Affine Yangians

Abstract:We calculate the deformed and non-deformed cohomological Hall algebra (CoHA) of the preprojective algebra for the case of cyclic quivers by studying the Kontsevich-Soibelman CoHA and using tools from cohomological Donaldson-Thomas theory. We show that for the cyclic quiver of length $K$, this algebra is the universal enveloping algebra of the positive half of a certain extension of matrix differential operators on $\mathbb{C}^{*}$, while its deformation gives a positive half of an explicit integral form of Guay's Affine Yangian $\ddot{\mathcal{Y}}_{\hbar_1,\hbar_2}(\mathfrak{gl}(K))$. By the main theorem of Botta-Davison (2023) and Schiffmann-Vasserot (2023), this also determines the positive half of the Maulik-Okounkov Yangian for the case of cyclic quivers. Furthermore, we provide evidence for the strong rationality conjecture, calculate the spherical subalgebra of the non-deformed CoHA for any quiver without loops, recover results about the CoHA of compactly supported semistable sheaves on the minimal resolution of the Kleinian singularity $\mathbb{C}^2/\mathbb{Z}_{K}$ and identify a commutative algebra inside the additive shuffle algebra associated to the cyclic quiver. We end by conjecturally relating the obtained integral form with the algebra defined by Gaiotto-Rapčák-Zhou, in the context of twisted M-theory.

Abstract:A quiver representation assigns a vector space to each vertex, and a linear map to each arrow. When one considers the category $\textrm{Vect}(\mathbb{F}_1)$ of vector spaces ``over $\mathbb{F}_1$'' (the field with one element), one obtains $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations of a quiver. In this paper, we study representations of a quiver over the field with one element in connection to coefficient quivers. To be precise, we prove that the category $\textrm{Rep}(Q,\mathbb{F}_1)$ is equivalent to the (suitably defined) category of coefficient quivers over $Q$. This provides a conceptual way to see Euler characteristics of a class of quiver Grassmannians as the number of ``$\mathbb{F}_1$-rational points'' of quiver Grassmannians. We generalize techniques originally developed for string and band modules to compute the Euler characteristics of quiver Grassmannians associated to $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations. These techniques apply to a large class of $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations, which we call the $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations with finite nice length: we prove sufficient conditions for an $\mathbb{F}_1$-representation to have finite nice length, and classify such representations for certain families of quivers. Finally, we explore the Hall algebras associated to $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations of quivers. We answer the question of how a change in orientation affects the Hall algebra of nilpotent $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations of a quiver with bounded representation type. We also discuss Hall algebras associated to representations with finite nice length, and compute them for certain families of quivers.

Abstract:We investigate the structure of the double Ringel-Hall algebras associated with cyclic quivers and its connections with quantum loop algebras of $\mathfrak{gl}_n$, affine quantum Schur algebras and affine Hecke algebras. This includes their Drinfeld-Jimbo type presentation, affine quantum Schur-Weyl reciprocity, representations of affine quantum Schur algebras, and connections with various existing works by Lusztig, Varagnolo-Vasserot, Schiffmann, Hubery, Chari-Pressley, Frenkel-Mukhin, etc. We will also discuss conjectures on a realization of Beilinson-Lusztig-MacPherson type and Lusztig type integral forms for double Ringel-Hall algebras.

Abstract:The motivation of this paper is to study the natural quiver of an artinian algebra, a new kind of quivers, as a tool independing upon the associated basic algebra. In [5], the notion of the natural quiver of an artinian algebra was introduced and then was used to generalize the Gabriel theorem for non-basic artinian algebras splitting over radicals and non-basic finite dimensional algebras with 2-nilpotent radicals via pseudo path algebras and generalized path algebras respectively. In this paper, firstly we consider the relationship between the natural quiver and the ordinary quiver of a finite dimensional algebra. Secondly, the generalized Gabriel theorem is obtained for radical-graded artinian algebras. Moreover, Gabriel-type algebras are introduced to outline those artinian algebras satisfying the generalized Gabriel theorem here and in [5]. For such algebras, the uniqueness of the related generalized path algebra and quiver holds up to isomorphism in the case when the ideal is admissible. For an artinian algebra, there are two basic algebras, the first is that associated to the algebra itself; the second is that associated to the correspondent generalized path algebra. In the final part, it is shown that for a Gabriel-type artinian algebra, the first basic algebra is a quotient of the second basic algebra. Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to use Clifford monoids to define weak Hopf quivers and to construct the corresponding class of weak Hopf algebras, i.e., the semilattice of graded weak Hopf algebras which were found to be useful in obtaining a regular R-matrix of a quantum double without a quasi-triangular structure. We define weak Hopf quivers and classify the semilattice of graded weak Hopf algebra structures over path coalgebras using weak Hopf quivers. This gives, precisely, a generalization of the classification of the graded weak Hopf algebra structures over path coalgebras using such quivers.

Abstract:In the present paper we prove that Hall polynomial exists for each triple of decomposition sequences which parameterize isomorphism classes of coherent sheaves of a domestic weighted projective line X over finite fields. These polynomials are then used to define the generic Ringel–Hall algebra of X as well as its Drinfeld double. Combining this construction with a result of Cramer, we show that Hall polynomials exist for tame quivers, which not only refines a result of Hubery, but also confirms a conjecture of Berenstein and Greenstein.

Abstract:We use the monomial basis theory developed by Deng and Du to present an elementary algebraic construction of the canonical bases for both the Ringel-Hall algebra of a cyclic quiver and the positive part U+ of the quantum affine sl(n). This construction relies on analysis of quiver representations and the introduction of a new integral PBW-like basis for the Lusztig Z[v, v(-1)] -form of U+.

Abstract:For a finitary hereditary abelian category $\mathcal{A}$, we define a derived Hall algebra of its root category by counting the triangles and using the octahedral axiom, which is proved to be isomorphic to the Drinfeld double of Hall algebra of $\mathcal{A}$. When applied to finite-dimensional nilpotent representations of the Jordan quiver or coherent sheaves over elliptic curves, these algebras provide categorical realizations of the ring of Laurent symmetric functions and also double affine Hecke algebras.

Abstract:It is shown that the gentle one-cycle algebra $\Lambda(n-1,1,1)$ has Hall polynomials. The Hall polynomials are explicitly given for all triples of indecomposable modules, and as a consequence, the Ringel--Hall Lie algebra of $\Lambda(n-1,1,1)$ is shown to be isomorphic to its Riedtmann Lie algebra.

Abstract:Using Hernandez-Leclerc's isomorphism between the derived Hall algebra of a representation-finite quiver $Q$ and the quantum Grothendieck ring of the quantum loop algebra of the Dynkin type of $Q$, we lift the (quantum) cluster algebra structure of the quantum Grothendieck ring to the semi-derived Hall algebra, introduced by Gorsky, of the category of bounded complexes of projective modules over the path algebra of $Q$. We also construct a braid group action on the semi-derived Hall algebra, lifting Kashiwara-Kim-Oh-Park's braid group action on the quantum Grothendieck ring.

Abstract:In this paper we study the category Cm(P) of m-cyclic complexes over P, where P is the category of projective modules over a finite dimensional hereditary algebra A, and describe almost split sequences in Cm(P). This is applied to prove the existence of Hall polynomials in Cm(P) when A is representation finite and m≠1. We further introduce the Hall algebra of Cm(P) and its localization in the sense of Bridgeland. In the case when A is representation finite, we use Hall polynomials to define the generic Bridgeland–Hall algebra of A and show that it contains a subalgebra isomorphic to the integral form of the corresponding quantum enveloping algebra. This provides a construction of the simple Lie algebra associated with A.
