Abstract:We consist of first presenting Zeckendorf Theorem with these two versions Fibonacci and Luca. In this document we obtain results on the generalized of the Zeckendorf theorem for Fibonacci numbers (multibonacci). Such results find applications in coding theory.

Abstract:Let {F(n)} be the Fibonacci sequence defined by F0 = 0, F1 = 1, F(n) + 1 = F(n) + F(n-1) (n greater-than-or-equal-to 1). It is well known that F(p-)(5/p) = 0 (mod p) for any odd prime p, where (-) denotes the Legendre symbol. In 1960 D.D. Wall [13] asked whether p2/F(p-)(5/p) is always impossible; up to now this is still open. In this paper the sum [GRAPHICS] is expressed in terms of Fibonacci numbers. As applications we obtain a new formula for the Fibonacci quotient F(p-)(5/p)/p and a criterion for the relation p/F(p-1)/4 (if p = 1 (mod 4)), where p not-equal 5 is an odd prime. We also prove that the affirmative answer to Wall's question implies the first case of FLT (Fermat's last theorem); from this it follows that the first case of FLT holds for those exponents which are (odd) Fibonacci primes or Lucas primes.

Abstract: In this paper, we consider some hybrid Diophantine equations of addition and multiplication. We first improve a result on new Hilbert-Waring problem. Then we consider the equation \begin{equation} \begin{cases} A+B=C ABC=D^n \end{cases} \end{equation} where $A,B,C,D,n \in\ZZ_{+}$ and $n\geq3$, which may be regarded as a generalization of Fermat's equation $x^n+y^n=z^n$. When $\gcd(A,B,C)=1$, $(1)$ is equivalent to Fermat's equation, which means it has no positive integer solutions. We discuss several cases for $\gcd(A,B,C)=p^k$ where $p$ is an odd prime. In particular, for $k=1$ we prove that $(1)$ has no nonzero integer solutions when $n=3$ and we conjecture that it is also true for any prime $n>3$. Finally, we consider equation $(1)$ in quadratic fields $\mathbb{Q}(\sqrt{t})$ for $n=3$.

On Darmon's program for the Generalized Fermat equation, II

Abstract:We obtain additional Diophantine applications of the methods surrounding Darmon's program for the generalized Fermat equation developed in the first part of this series of papers. As a first application, we use a multi-Frey approach combining two Frey elliptic curves over totally real fields, a Frey hyperelliptic curve over $\mathbb{Q}$ due to Kraus, and ideas from the Darmon program to give a complete resolution of the generalized Fermat equation $$x^7 + y^7 = 3 z^n$$ for all integers $n \ge 2$. Moreover, we explain how the use of higher dimensional Frey abelian varieties allows a more efficient proof of this result due to additional structures that they afford, compared to using only Frey elliptic curves. As a second application, we use some of these additional structures that Frey abelian varieties possess to show that a full resolution of the generalized Fermat equation $x^7 + y^7 = z^n$ depends only on the Cartan case of Darmon's big image conjecture. In the process, we solve the previous equation for solutions $(a,b,c)$ such that $a$ and $b$ satisfy certain $2$ or $7$-adic conditions and all $n \ge 2$.

Abstract:We extend the Brauer-Siegel theorem to new families of number fields, both in the classical setting of asymptotically bad families and in the more general framework due to Tsfasman and Vlăduţ of asymptotically exact families. We introduce a notion of Galois complexity for extensions of number fields, and show that the generalized Brauer-Siegel theorem, as conjectured by Tsfasman and Vlăduţ, holds for families in which the complexity does not grow too fast. This allows to unify and extend all previously known results. The crucial step in our work is the proof of a new version -- stated in terms of our Galois complexity -- of a fundamental principle due to Stark descending exceptional zeroes of zeta functions down to quadratic number fields. Among the hitherto unknown cases we are able to treat are the families of number fields contained in the solvable Galois closure of a given number field.

Abstract:In this article, we present a trick around Fibonacci numbers which can be found in several magic books. It consists in computing quickly the sum of the successive terms of a Fibonacci-like sequence. We give explanations and extensions of this trick to more general sequences. This study leads us to interesting connections between Fibonacci, Lucas sequences and Chebyshev polynomials.

Abstract:In this paper, we present a new generalization of the Lucas numbers by matrix representation using Genaralized Lucas Polynomials. We give some properties of this new generalization and some relations between the generalized order-k Lucas numbers and generalized order-k Fibonacci numbers. In addition, we obtain Binet formula and combinatorial representation for generalized order-k Lucas numbers by using properties of generalized Fibonacci numbers.

Abstract:Fractions $\frac{p}{q} \in [0,1)$ with prime denominator $q$ written in decimal have a curious property described by Midy's Theorem, namely that two halves of their period (if it is of even length $2n$) sum up to $10^n-1$. A number of results generalise Midy's theorem to expansions of $\frac{p}{q}$ in different integer bases, considering non-prime denominators, or dividing the period into more than two parts. We show that a similar phenomena can be studied even in the context of numeration systems with non-integer bases, as introduced by Rényi. First we define the Midy property for a general real base $\beta >1$ and derive a necessary condition for validity of the Midy property. For $\beta =\frac12(1+\sqrt5)$ we characterize prime denominators $q$, which satisfy the property.

Abstract:We have studied several generalizations of Fibonacci sequences as the sequences with arbitrary initial values, the addition of two and more Fibonacci subsequences and Fibonacci polynomials with arbitrary bases. For Fibonacci numbers with congruent indices we derived general formula in terms of generalized Fibonacci polynomials and Lucas numbers. By extending Binet formula to arbitrary real numbers we constructed Binet-Fibonacci curve in complex plane. For positive numbers the curve is oscillating with exponentially vanishing amplitude, while for negative numbers it becomes Binet Fibonacci spiral. Comparison with the nautilus curve shows quite similar behavior. Areas under the curve and curvature characteristics are calculated, as well as the asymptotic of relative characteristics. Asymptotically for n going to infinity the region become, infinitely wide with infinitesimally small height so that the area has finite value $A_{\infty}=\frac{2}{5 \pi} ln(\varphi)$.

Abstract:Let $\beta=\frac{1+\sqrt{5}}{2}$, $(a_n)_{n \in \mathbb{N}^+}$ be a non-uniform morphic sequence involving the infinite Fibonacci word and $(\delta(n))_{n \in \mathbb{N}^+}$ be a positive sequence such that for all positive integers $n$, $\delta(n)=\frac{1}{\sqrt{5}}\sum_{j \geq 0}\epsilon_j\beta^{j+2}$ if the unique Zeckendorf expansion of $n$ is $n=\sum_{j \geq 0}\epsilon_jF_{j+2}$ with Fibonacci numbers $F_0,F_1,F_2...$. We define and study some Dirichlet series in the form of $\sum_{n\geq 1}\frac{a_n}{(\delta(n))^s}$ and relations between them. Moreover, we compute the values of some infinite series involving the infinite Fibonacci word.

Abstract:This paper presents a novel direct elementary proof for Fermat's Last Theorem. We use algebra, modular math, and binomial series to develop inherent mathematical relationships hidden within Fermat's Last Theorem. With these derived relationships, we are able to develop general pattern applicable for all positive integers of n. Finally, we are able to confirm and complete the direct proof for Fermat's Diophantine equation for all n.

Abstract:A finite subset of the natural numbers is weak-Schreier if $\min S \ge |S|$, strong-Schreier if $\min S>|S|$, and maximal if $\min S = |S|$. Let $M_n$ be the number of weak-Schreier sets with $n$ being the largest element and $(F_n)_{n\geq -1}$ denote the Fibonacci sequence. A finite set is said to be Zeckendorf if it does not contain two consecutive natural numbers. Let $E_n$ be the number of Zeckendorf subsets of $\{1,2,\ldots,n\}$. It is well-known that $E_n = F_{n+2}$. In this paper, we first show four other ways to generate the Fibonacci sequence from counting Schreier sets. For example, let $C_n$ be the number of weak-Schreier subsets of $\{1,2,\ldots,n\}$. Then $C_n = F_{n+2}$. To understand why $C_n = E_n$, we provide a bijective mapping to prove the equality directly. Next, we prove linear recurrence relations among the number of Schreier-Zeckendorf sets. Lastly, we discover the Fibonacci sequence by counting the number of subsets of $\{1,2,\ldots, n\}$ such that two consecutive elements in increasing order always differ by an odd number.

Abstract:Consider the generalized Fibonacci sequence {qn}n=0∞ having initial conditions q0=0,q1=1 and recurrence relation qn=aqn-1+qn-2 (when n is even) or qn=bqn-1+qn-2 (when n is odd), where a and b are nonzero real numbers. These sequences arise in a natural way in the study of continued fractions of quadratic irrationals and combinatorics on words or dynamical system theory. Some well-known sequences are special cases of this generalization. The Fibonacci sequence is a special case of {qn} with a=b=1. Pell’s sequence is {qn} with a=b=2 and the k-Fibonacci sequence is {qn} with a=b=k. In this article, we study numerous new properties of these sequences and investigate a sequence closely related to these sequences which can be regarded as a generalization of Lucas sequence of the first kind.

Abstract:In [1], we give Dickson's conjecture on $N^n$. In this paper, we further give Dickson's conjecture on $Z^n$ and obtain an equivalent form of Green-Tao's conjecture [2]. Based on our work, it is possible to establish a general theory that several multivariable integral polynomials on $Z^n$ represent simultaneously prime numbers for infinitely many integral points and generalize the analogy of Chinese Remainder Theorem in [3]. Dans [1], nous donnons la conjecture de Dickson sur $N^n$. Dans ce document, en outre nous accordons une conjecture de Dickson sur $Z^n$ et obtenons une forme équivalent de conjecture de Green-Tao [2]. Sur la base de nos travaux, il est possible d'établir une théorie générale que plusieurs polynômes intégraux multivariables sur $Z^n$ représentent simultanément les nombres premiers pour un nombre infini de points entiers et de généraliser les l'analogie de Théorème des Restes Chinois dans [3].

Abstract:In 2016, Edgar and, independently of him, Bhatnagar sta\-ted a nice polynomial identity that connects Fibonacci and Lucas numbers. Shortly after their publications, this identity has been generalized in two different ways: Dafnis, Phillipou and Livieris provided a generalization to Fibonacci sequences of order $k$ and Abd-Elhameed and Zeyada extended Edgar--Bhatnagar identity to generalized Fibonacci and Lucas sequences. In this paper, we present more polynomial identities for generalized Lucas sequences. We discuss interesting aspects and special cases which have not been stated before but deserve recognition. Finally, we prove the polynomial analogues of these identities for Chebyshev polynomials.
