Abstract:Let $X$ be any smooth Deligne-Mumford stack with projective coarse moduli, and $Y$ be a smooth complete intersection in $X$ associated with a direct sum of semi-positive line bundles. We will introduce a useful and broad class known as admissible series for discussing quantum Lefschetz theorem. For any admissible series on the Givental's Lagrangian cone of $X$, we will show that a hypergeometric modification of the series lies on the Lagrangian cone of $Y$. This confirms a prediction from Coates-Corti-Iritani-Tseng about the genus zero quantum Lefschetz theorem beyond convexity. In our quantum Lefschetz theorem, we use extended variables to formulate the hypergeometric modification, which may be of self-independent interest.

Derived categories of Quot schemes on smooth curves and tautological bundles

Abstract:We define a categorical action of the shifted quantum loop group of $\mathfrak{sl}_2$ on the derived categories of Quot schemes of finite length quotient sheaves on a smooth projective curve. As an application, we obtain a semi-orthogonal decomposition of the derived categories of Quot schemes, of representation theoretic origin. We use this decomposition to calculate the cohomology of interesting tautological vector bundles over the Quot scheme.

Abstract:In this paper we discuss physical derivations of the quantum K theory rings of symplectic Grassmannians. We compare to standard presentations in terms of Schubert cycles, but most of our work revolves around a proposed description in terms of two other bases, involving shifted Wilson lines and lambda_y classes, which are motivated by and amenable to physics, and which we also provide for ordinary Grassmannians.

Abstract:In this paper, we attempt to determine the quantum cohomology of projective bundles over the projective space P^n. In contrast to the previous examples, the relevant moduli spaces in our case frequently do not have expected dimensions. It makes the calculation more difficult. We overcome this difficulty by using excessive intersection theory.

Abstract:A Laplace transform that maps the topological recursion (TR) wavefunction to its $x$-$y$ swap dual is defined. This transform is then applied to the construction of quantum curves. General results are obtained, including a formula for the quantisation of many spectral curves of the form $e^xP_2(e^y) - P_1(e^y) = 0$ where $P_1$ and $P_2$ are coprime polynomials; an important class that contains interesting spectral curves related to mirror symmetry and knot theory that have, heretofore, evaded the general TR-based methods previously used to derive quantum curves. Quantum curves known in the literature are reproduced, and new quantum curves are derived. In particular, the quantum curve for the $T$-equivariant Gromov-Witten theory of $\mathbb{P}(a,b)$ is obtained.

Abstract:We will exhibit a group of symmetries of the simply-laced quantum connections, generalising the quantum/Howe duality relating KZ and the Casimir connection. These symmetries arise as a quantisation of the classical symmetries of the simply-laced isomonodromy systems, which in turn generalise the Harnad duality. The quantisation of the classical symmetries involves constructing the quantum Hamiltonian reduction of the representation variety of any simply-laced quiver, both in filtered and in deformation quantisation.

Abstract:We study the virtual Euler characteristics of sheaves over Quot schemes of curves, establishing that these invariants fit into a topological quantum field theory (TQFT) valued in $\mathbb{Z}[[q]]$. Utilizing Quot scheme compactifications alongside the TQFT framework, we derive presentations of the small quantum $K$-ring of the Grassmannian. Our approach offers a new method for finding explicit formulas for quantum $K$-invariants.

Abstract:We derive a $K$-theoretic analogue of the Vafa--Intriligator formula, computing the (virtual) Euler characteristics of vector bundles over the Quot scheme that compactifies the space of degree $d$ morphisms from a fixed projective curve to the Grassmannian $\mathrm{Gr}(r,N)$. As an application, we deduce interesting vanishing results, used in Part I (<a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="2406.12191" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/2406.12191">arXiv:2406.12191</a>) to study the quantum $K$-ring of $\mathrm{Gr}(r,N)$. In the genus-zero case, we prove a simplified formula involving Schur functions, consistent with the Borel-Weil-Bott theorem in the degree-zero setting. These new formulas offer a novel approach for computing the structure constants of quantum $K$-products.

Abstract:In part I of this work we studied the spaces of real algebraic cycles on a complex projective space P(V), where V carries a real structure, and completely determined their homotopy type. We also extended some functors in K-theory to algebraic cycles, establishing a direct relationship to characteristic classes for the classical groups, specially Stiefel-Whitney classes. In this sequel, we establish corresponding results in the case where V has a quaternionic structure. The determination of the homotopy type of quaternionic algebraic cycles is more involved than in the real case, but has a similarly simple description. The stabilized space of quaternionic algebraic cycles admits a nontrivial infinite loop space structure yielding, in particular, a delooping of the total Pontrjagin class map. This stabilized space is directly related to an extended notion of quaternionic spaces and bundles (KH-theory), in analogy with Atiyah's real spaces and KR-theory, and the characteristic classes that we introduce for these objects are nontrivial. The paper ends with various examples and applications.

Quasimaps to quivers with potentials

Abstract:This paper is concerned with a non-compact GIT quotient of a vector space, in the presence of an abelian group action and an equivariant regular function (potential) on the quotient. We define virtual counts of quasimaps from prestable curves to the critical locus of the potential, and prove a gluing formula in the formalism of cohomological field theories. The main examples studied in this paper is when the above setting arises from quivers with potentials, where the above construction gives quantum correction to the equivariant Chow homology of the critical locus. Following similar ideas as in quasimaps to Nakajima quiver varieties studied by the Okounkov school, we analyse vertex functions in several examples, including Hilbert schemes of points on $\mathbb{C}^3$, moduli spaces of perverse coherent systems on the resolved conifold, and a quiver which defines higher $\mathfrak{sl}_2$-spin chains. Bethe equations are calculated in these cases. The construction in the present paper is based on the theory of gauged linear sigma models as well as shifted symplectic geometry of Pantev, Toën, Vaquie and Vezzosi, and uses the virtual pullback formalism of symmetric obstruction theory of Park, which arises from the recent development of Donaldson-Thomas theory of Calabi-Yau 4-folds.

Abstract:We construct a polynomial family of semisimple left module categories over the representation category of the Drinfeld-Jimbo deformation, with the fusion rule of the representation category of each Levi subalgebra. In this construction we perform a kind of generalized parabolic induction using a deformed quantum enveloping algebra, whose definition depends on an arbitrary choice of a positive system and corresponds to De Commer's definition for the standard positive system. These algebras define a sheaf of algebras on the toric variety associated to the root system, which contains the moduli of equivariant Poisson brackets. This fact finally produces the family of 2-cocycle. We also obtain a comparison theorem between our module categories and module categories induced from our construction for intermediate Levi subalgebras. The construction of deformed quantum enveloping algebras and the comparison theorem are discussed in the integral setting of Lusztig's sense.

This work helps to explain a curious coincidence previously observed between Toledano Laredo's work classifying central extensions of loop groups LG and the author's previous work on the obstruction to pre-quantization of the moduli space of flat G -bundles.

Abstract:We formulate geometrically (without reference to physical models) a refined topological recursion applicable to genus zero curves of degree two, inspired by Chekhov-Eynard and Marchal, introducing new degrees of freedom in the process. For such curves, we prove the fundamental properties of the recursion analogous to the unrefined case. We show the quantization of spectral curves due to Iwaki-Koike-Takei can be generalized to this setting and give the explicit formula, which turns out to be related to the unrefined case by a simple transformation. For an important collection of examples, we write down the quantum curves and find that in the Nekrasov-Shatashvili limit, they take an especially simple form.

Abstract:We explore the indecomposable submodule structure of quantum Grassmann super-algebra $\Omega_q(m|n)$ and its truncated objects $\Omega_q(m|n,\textbf{r})$ in the case when $q=\varepsilon$ is an $\ell$-th root of unity. A net-like weave-lifting method is developed to show the indecomposability of all the homogeneous super subspaces $\Omega_q^{(s)}(m|n,\textbf{r})$ and $\Omega_q^{(s)}(m|n)$ as $\mathcal U_q(\mathfrak{gl}(m|n))$-modules by defining "energy grade" to depict their "$\ell$-adic" phenomenon. Their Loewy filtrations are described, the Loewy layers and dimensions are determined by combinatorial identities. The quantum super de Rham cochain short complex $(\mathcal D_q(m|n)^{(\bullet)},d^\bullet)$ is constructed and proved to be acyclic (Poincaré Lemma), where $\mathcal D_q(m|n)=\Omega_q(m|n)\otimes \sqcap_q(m|n)$ and $\sqcap_q(m|n)$ is the quantum exterior super-algebra, over which we define the $q$-differentials. %such that the product structure of $\sqcap_q(m|n)$, the quantum exterior super-algebra, is well-matched everywhere. However, the truncated quantum de Rham cochain subcomplexes $(\mathcal D_q(m|n,\textbf{r})^{(\bullet)},d^\bullet)$ we mainly consider are no longer acyclic and the resulting quantum super de Rham cohomologies $H^s_{DR}(\mathcal D_q(m|n, \mathbf r)^{(\bullet)})$ are highly nontrivial.

Abstract:We define quantum exterior product wedge_h and quantum exterior differential d_h on Poisson manifolds, of which symplectic manifolds are an important class of examples. Quantum de Rham cohomology is defined as the cohomology of d_h. We also define quantum Dolbeault cohomology. Quantum hard Lefschetz theorem is proved. We also define a version of quantum integral, and prove the quantum Stokes theorem. By the trick of replacing d by d_h and wedge by wedge_h in the usual definitions, we define many quantum analogues of important objects in differential geometry, e.g. quantum curvature. The quantum characteristic classes are then studied along the lines of classical Chern-Weil theory, i.e., they can be represented by expressions of quantum curvature. Quantum equivariant de Rham cohomology is defined in a similar fashion. Calculations are done for some examples, which show that quantum de Rham cohomology is different from the quantum cohomology defined using pseudo-holomorphic curves.

Abstract:We conformally weld (via "quantum zipping") two boundary arcs of a Liouville quantum gravity random surface to generate a random curve called the Schramm-Loewner evolution (SLE). We develop a theory of quantum fractal measures (consistent with the Knizhnik-Polyakov-Zamolochikov relation) and analyze their evolution under welding via SLE martingales. As an application, we construct the natural quantum length and boundary intersection measures on the SLE curve itself.
