Abstract:Nanobubble-related technologies have been confirmed to be useful in various fields such as climate change and the environment as well as water-based industries such as water purification, crops, horticulture, medical care, bio, and sterilization. However, a method of mass production in real time enough to apply nano-bubbles to the industry has not yet been developed. We explored the mechanism of nano-bubble water generation by friction between water and walls and developed a tube device applying the shape of the flow path to maximize the friction in the fluid passing through the flow path. It also describes the case of real-time and low-power mass production of nanobubbles and its technical utility. We found that the friction of nanotubes alone can easily and quickly improve the production of nanobubbles with small particle size in real time; by increasing the shearing pressure while increasing the effective friction constant value, the particle size of nanobubbles can be smaller while increasing the particle concentration.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The problem that this paper attempts to solve is to develop a method capable of producing a large number of nanobubbles in real - time, so as to overcome the limitations of existing methods in production efficiency and application scope. Specifically, although existing nanobubble generation technologies such as the ultrasonic method and the electrolysis method are effective, they are unable to be produced on a large scale, and the equipment is complex and costly, not suitable for small enterprises and households. In addition, most of the microbubbles generated by these methods are at the micrometer - level stage, and the concentration of nanobubbles is low, unable to fully exert the unique characteristics of nanobubbles. To solve these problems, the researchers designed a nanobubble - generating device based on the fluid - wall friction mechanism - the nanotube. This device efficiently generates high - concentration small - sized nanobubbles without adding gas by increasing the friction area and friction coefficient between the fluid and the pipe wall, increasing the flow rate, and prolonging the friction time. The main goal of the research is to improve the quality and output of nanobubbles by optimizing the design parameters of the nanotube, such as the friction area, friction coefficient, flow rate, friction time, and gas content in water. Two concepts, "friction integration" and "effective friction constant", were introduced in the study to quantify the influence of friction on nanobubble generation. The experimental results show that by adjusting these parameters, the concentration of nanobubbles can be significantly increased and their particle size can be reduced, thus providing technical support for the wide application of nanobubbles in water treatment, agriculture, medical treatment and other fields.
