Abstract:We analyze the non-Fourier dual-phase-lag heat conduction process in a three-dimensional medium heated by a moving circular or annular laser beam, which is modeled by a set of point heat sources in the cross-section. In order to solve the model, Green's function approach is first used to obtain an analytical solution for the temperature distribution over the medium subjected to a single point heat source. Then the temperature distribution on the medium subjected to the laser beam can be obtained by the superposition method. According to this solution, the dependence between the heat conduction process and the cross-section of the heat source is investigated. Based on the comparison of the temperature distribution of the medium under Fourier's law and non-Fourier's law, the effect of the phase lag parameter is revealed. In addition, the effects of laser spot size and laser moving speed on the temperature distribution are also analyzed. The discovered properties provide theoretical support for the application of moving laser heat sources in various fields under the dual-phase-lag model.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
### Problems the paper attempts to solve This paper aims to study the dual - phase - lag heat conduction process of a three - dimensional finite medium under the heating of a moving laser beam. Specifically, the paper focuses on the following aspects: 1. **Application of the non - Fourier dual - phase - lag model**: - By introducing the heat - flux phase - lag parameter \( \tau_q \) and the temperature - gradient phase - lag parameter \( \tau_T \), a dual - phase - lag model is established to describe the heat conduction process more accurately under micro - scale or extreme temperature conditions. 2. **Influence of the moving laser beam**: - Analyze the influence of moving laser beams of different shapes (circular or annular) on the temperature distribution of the medium. The specific influence of the moving speed and spot size of the laser beam on the temperature distribution is also the focus of the study. 3. **Comparison between analytical and numerical solutions**: - Use the Green's function method and the superposition method to obtain the analytical solution and compare it with the numerical solution to verify the effectiveness of the analytical method. 4. **Parameter analysis**: - Study the influence of the phase - lag parameter ratio \( K_\tau \), the laser spot size and the laser moving speed on the temperature distribution on the surface and inside the medium. ### Main contributions of the paper 1. **Model establishment**: - A dual - phase - lag heat conduction model for a three - dimensional finite medium heated by a moving laser beam is established, taking into account the influence of heat - flux phase - lag and temperature - gradient phase - lag. 2. **Analytical solution method**: - By using the Green's function method and the superposition method, the analytical solution of the temperature distribution of the medium under the action of a single - point heat source is obtained and extended to the case of a moving laser beam. 3. **Numerical verification**: - Use the implicit finite - difference method to obtain the numerical solution and compare it with the analytical solution to verify the accuracy of the analytical method. 4. **Parameter analysis**: - Analyze in detail the influence of the phase - lag parameter ratio \( K_\tau \), the laser spot size and the laser moving speed on the temperature distribution, providing theoretical support for practical applications. ### Key formulas 1. **Configuration relationship of the dual - phase - lag model**: \[ q(x, y, z, t+\tau_q)=-k\nabla T(x, y, z, t + \tau_T) \] where \( q \) is the heat - flux vector, \( T \) is the temperature, \( k \) is the thermal conductivity, \( \tau_q \) is the heat - flux phase - lag, and \( \tau_T \) is the temperature - gradient phase - lag. 2. **Heat conduction equation**: \[ \nabla^2 T+\tau_T\frac{\partial}{\partial t}(\nabla^2 T)+\frac{1}{k}\left(Q+\tau_q\frac{\partial Q}{\partial t}\right)=\frac{1}{\alpha}\left(\frac{\partial T}{\partial t}+\tau_q\frac{\partial^2 T}{\partial t^2}\right) \] where \( \alpha=\frac{k}{\rho C} \) is the thermal diffusivity, \( \rho \) is the material density, and \( C \) is the specific heat capacity. 3. **Dimensionless control equation**: \[ \left(\frac{\partial^2\theta}{\partial\xi_1^2}+\frac{\partial^2\theta}{\partial\xi_2^2}+\frac{\partial^2\theta}{\partial\xi_3^2}\right)+K_\tau\left(\frac{\partial^3\theta}{\partial\tau\partial\xi_1^2}+\frac{\partial \]
