Abstract:We introduce the concept of $b$-suprametric spaces and establish a fixed point result for mappings satisfying a nonlinear contraction in such spaces. The obtained result generalizes a fixed point theorem of Czerwik and a recent result of the author.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce the strong b -suprametric spaces in which we prove the fixed point principles of Banach and Edelstein. Moreover, we prove a variational principle of Ekeland and deduce a Caristi fixed point theorem. Furthermore, we introduce the strong b -supranormed linear spaces in which we establish the fixed point principles of Brouwer and Schauder. As applications, we study the existence of solutions to an integral equation and to a third-order boundary value problem.

Abstract:The authors explore fixed-point theory in b-metric spaces and strong b-metric spaces. They wish to prove some new extensions of the Covitz and Nadler fixed-point theorem in b-metric spaces. In so doing, they wish to answer a question proposed by Kirk and Shahzad about Nadler's theorem holding in strong b-metric spaces. In addition, they offer an improvement to the fixed-point theorem proven by Dontchev and Hager.

Abstract:We characterize a nonlinear full invariant of compact Banach-space maps: Let ( X , ‖.‖) and ( Y , ‖.‖) be two Banach spaces and P C ( X , Y ) be all compact maps which map ( X , ‖.‖) to ( Y , ‖.‖). Then each weak operator-topology subseries-convergent series ∑ i P i in P c ( X , Y ) is also uniform-topology subseries-convergent iff each bounded map from ( X , ‖.‖) to ( l 1 , ‖.‖ 1 ) is a compact map. The necessary condition for each weak operator-topology subseries-convergent series ∑ i P i in P C ( X , Y ) to be also uniform-topology subseries-convergent is that ( X , ‖.‖) and ( X ′, ‖.‖) both contain no copy of c 0 . This necessary condition is not sufficient.

Abstract:Since the topological properties of a b-metric space (which generalizes the concept of a metric space) seem sometimes counterintuitive due to the fact that the "open" balls may not be open sets, we review some aspects of these spaces concerning compactness, metrizability, continuity and fixed points. After doing so, we introduce new types of contractivities that extend the concept of Banach contraction. We study some of their properties, giving sufficient conditions for the existence of fixed points and common fixed points. Afterwards, we consider some iterative schemes in quasi-normed spaces for the approximation of these critical points, analyzing their convergence and stability. We apply these concepts to the resolution of a model of integral equation of Urysohn type. In the last part of the paper, we refine some results about partial contractivities in the case where the underlying set is a strong b-metric space, and we establish some relations between mutual weak contractions and quasi-contractions and the new type of contractivity.

Abstract:The purpose of this paper was to introduce several $ b $-generalized contractive mappings in the framework of cone $ b $-metric spaces over Banach algebras. The obtained contractions generalized and extended the counterparts in metric spaces, cone metric spaces, and $ b $-metric spaces. Moreover, via weakening the completeness of the spaces, we gave some fixed point theorems for asymptotically regular mappings without considering the orbital continuity and $ k $-continuity of the mappings. Those who need a specification is our results do not rely on the continuity of $ b $-metric and the normality of cones. In addition, some nontrivial examples were presented to illustrate the superiority of our fixed point theorems.

Abstract:In the article, we considered the fixed point problem for contractive mappings of integral type in the setting of $ b $-metric spaces for the first time. First, we introduced the concepts of $ \theta $-weak contraction and $ \theta $-$ \psi $-weak contraction. Second, the existence and uniqueness of fixed points of contractive mappings of integral type in $ b $-metric spaces were studied. Meanwhile, two examples were given to prove the feasibility of our results. As an application, we proved the solvability of a functional equation arising in dynamic programming.

Abstract:The probabilistic cone b-metric space is a novel concept that we describe in this study along with some of its fundamental topological properties and instances. We also established the fixed point theorem for the probabilistic nonlinear Banach contraction mapping on this kind of spaces. Many prior findings in the literature are generalized and unified by our findings. In order to illustrate the basic theorem in ordinary cone b-metric spaces, some related findings are also provided with an application to integral equation.

Abstract:In this article, we introduce two multivalued contractive mappings within the framework of Hausdorff controlled metric spaces, employing concepts of admissibility and C ‐class functions. The first mapping is a (β∗,ζ) ‐generalized contractive multivalued mapping, and the second is a (β,W(ζ,ξ)) ‐multivalued mapping. We establish conditions guaranteeing the existence of fixed points for these mappings. To support our theoretical findings, we provide a numerical example, demonstrating the independence of the contractive conditions for the mappings. Furthermore, we apply our results to a specific problem in polynomial equations. These findings complement several existing results in the literature.

Abstract:In this paper we shall introduced the class of $d-CS$ spaces and so we shall obtained topological approach to large Kasahara spaces. This class include complete symmetric spaces, complete quasi $b$-metric spaces and complete $b$-spaces, but not include $d^*$-complete topological spaces and $d$-complete topological spaces. Further will be presented fixed theorem for nonlinear extended-contraction defined on this spaces, which generalize earlier results obtaned by Browder, Matkowski, Jachymski, Matkowski and Światkowski, Aranđelović and Kečkić and Alshehri, Aranđelović and Shahzad. Also, we obtain the fixed point theorem for nonlinear extended-contraction defined on quasi-metric spaces which extended recent result's of Pasicki, obtained for pseudo-metric spaces.

Assad showed that a nonself nonlinear contraction taking a closed subset of a complete metrically convex space into the space so that the boundary of this subset is mapped back into the subset itself has a unique fixed point. In the present paper we extend this result by replacing the complete metrically convex space with a complete metric space which is a length space.

Abstract:In this paper, we study some generalized contraction conditions for three self-mappings on generalized b-metric spaces to prove the existence of some unique common fixed-point results. To unify our results, we establish a supportive example for three self-mappings to show the uniqueness of a common fixed point for a generalized contraction in the said space. In addition, we present a supportive application of nonlinear integral equations for the validation of our work. The concept presented in this paper will play an important role in the theory of fixed points in the context of generalized metric spaces with applications.

Abstract:In this article, we prove some novel fixed-point results for a pair of multivalued dominated mappings obeying a new generalized Nashine–Wardowski–Feng–Liu-type contraction for orbitally lower semi-continuous functions in a complete orbital b -metric space. Furthermore, some new fixed-point theorems for dominated multivalued mappings are established in the scenario of ordered complete orbital b -metric spaces. Some examples are offered to demonstrate the validity of our new results' premise. To demonstrate the applicability of our findings, applications for a system of nonlinear Volterra-type integral equations and fractional differential equations are shown. These results extend the theoretical results of Nashine et al. (Nonlinear Anal., Model. Control 26(3):522–533, 2021).

Abstract:In this article, we introduce the structure of a new extended cone b-metric-like space over a Banach algebra. In this generalized space, we define the notion of generalized Reich-type mappings and prove a fixed point result. We also prove a fixed point result using multivalued contraction and provide some of its consequences. Finally, we furnish with applications to establish the validity of our results.
