Abstract:In this paper, we examine the harmonic oscillator problem in non-commutative phase space (NCPS) by using the Dunkl derivative instead of the habitual one. After defining the Hamilton operator, we use the polar coordinates to derive the binding energy eigenvalue. We find eigenfunctions that correspond to these eigenvalues in terms of the Laguerre functions. We observe that the Dunkl-Harmonic Oscillator (DHO) in the NCPS differs from the ordinary one in the context of providing additional information on the even and odd parities. Therefore, we conclude that working with the Dunkl operator could be more appropriate because of its rich content.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The problem that this paper attempts to solve is to use Dunkl derivatives to study the two - dimensional harmonic oscillator problem in the Non - Commutative Phase Space (NCPS). Specifically, the authors define the Hamiltonian operator and use the perturbation method to derive the eigenvalues of the binding energy. They find that the corresponding eigenfunctions can be represented by the relevant Laguerre polynomials. The research shows that considering the Dunkl operator in the non - commutative phase space can provide additional information about parity, so it is considered that using the Dunkl operator may be a more appropriate choice because its structure is more abundant. ### Summary of main content: 1. **Background and motivation**: - In recent decades, the research on physical problems based on the concept of non - commutative coordinates has received extensive attention. The complexity of the non - commutative phase space makes most quantum mechanical problems (such as the central potential problem) need to be solved by the perturbation method. - The Dunkl derivative has attracted more and more interest because of its rich structure (including differential and discrete parts and reflection operator terms). The history of the Dunkl derivative can be traced back to the middle of the last century and has been applied in many physical problems in recent years. 2. **Research methods**: - The authors first construct the two - dimensional Dunkl - harmonic oscillator Hamiltonian operator in the non - commutative phase space. - Then, the eigenenergies and their corresponding eigenstates are derived by the perturbation technique. 3. **Main results**: - The derived eigenenergies and eigenfunctions show that the application of the Dunkl operator in the non - commutative phase space provides additional information about parity. - The results also point out the degeneracy of the energy eigenvalues. ### Summary of formulas: - **Non - commutative Hamiltonian operator**: \[ H_{\text{NC}}=\frac{1}{2m}[(P_{\text{NC}}^x)^2+(P_{\text{NC}}^y)^2]+\frac{1}{2}m\omega^2[(x_{\text{NC}})^2+(y_{\text{NC}})^2] \] where, \[ P_{\text{NC}}^x = P_x+\frac{\eta}{2}y,\quad P_{\text{NC}}^y = P_y-\frac{\eta}{2}x \] \[ x_{\text{NC}}=x-\frac{\theta}{2}P_y,\quad y_{\text{NC}}=y+\frac{\theta}{2}P_x \] - **Dunkl momentum operator**: \[ p_x\rightarrow p_{\mu_1}^x=\frac{\hbar}{i}D_{\mu_1}^x=\frac{\hbar}{i}(\frac{\partial}{\partial x}+\frac{\mu_1}{x}(1 - R_1)) \] \[ p_y\rightarrow p_{\mu_2}^y=\frac{\hbar}{i}D_{\mu_2}^y=\frac{\hbar}{i}(\frac{\partial}{\partial y}+\frac{\mu_2}{y}(1 - R_2)) \] - **Non - commutative Dunkl - harmonic oscillator Hamiltonian operator**: \[ H_{\text{Dunkl}}=G_1H_0(x,y)+G_2H_1(x,y) \] where, \[ H_0(x,y)=\frac{\partial^2}{\partial x^2}+\frac{2\mu_1}{x}\frac{\partial}{
