Abstract:We prove that if $(X, B+\mathbf{M})$ is a generalized klt pair with $K_X+B+\mathbf{M}_X$ nef and abundant, then $K_X+B+\mathbf{M}_X$ is semiample. More generally, we prove a generalized basepoint free theorem for generalized klt pairs.

Abstract: In this paper we investigate boundedness and volumes of generalised pairs, and give applications to usual pairs especially to a class of pairs that we call stable log minimal models. Fixing the dimension and a DCC set controlling coefficients, we will show that the set of volumes of all projective generalised lc pairs $(X,B+M)$ under the given data, satisfies the DCC. Futhermore, we will show that in the klt case, the set of such pairs with ample $K_X+B+M$ and fixed volume, forms a bounded family. We prove a result about descent of nef divisors to bounded families. This is the key to proving the above and various other results. We will then apply the above to study projective lc pairs $(X,B)$ with abundant $K_X+B$ of arbitrary Kodaira dimension. In particular, we show that the set of Iitaka volumes of such pairs satisfies DCC under some natural boundedness assumptions on the fibres of the Iitaka fibration. We define stable log minimal models which consist of a projective lc pair $(X,B)$ with semi-ample $K_X+B$ together with a divisor $A\ge 0$ so that $K_X+B+A$ is ample and $A$ does not contain any non-klt centre of $(X,B)$. This is a generalisation of both usual stable pairs of general type and stable log Calabi-Yau pairs. Fixing appropriate invariants we show that stable log minimal models form a bounded family. Then we discuss connection with moduli spaces.

Abstract: In this paper we investigate various properties of generalised pairs in families, especially boundedness of several kinds. We show that many statements for usual pairs do not hold for generalised pairs. In particular, we construct an unexpected counter-example to boundedness of generalised lc models with fixed appropriate invariants. We also show that the DCC of Iitaka volumes and existence of nef reduction maps fail in families of generalised pairs. In a positive direction we show boundedness of bases of log Calabi-Yau fibrations with their induced generalised pair structure under natural assumptions. Roughly speaking we prove this boundedness for fibrations whose general fibres belong to a bounded family and whose Iitaka volume is fixed.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the Nakano-positivity and dual-Nakano-positivity of certain adjoint vector bundles associated to ample vector bundles. As applications, we get new vanishing theorems about ample vector bundles. For example, we prove that if $E$ is an ample vector bundle over a compact K\"ahler manifold $X$, $S^kE\ts \det E$ is both Nakano-positive and dual-Nakano-positive for any $k\geq 0$. Moreover, $H^{n,q}(X,S^kE\ts \det E)=H^{q,n}(X,S^kE\ts \det E)=0$ for any $q\geq 1$. In particular, if $(E,h)$ is a Griffiths-positive vector bundle, the naturally induced Hermitian vector bundle $(S^kE\ts \det E, S^kh\ts \det h)$ is both Nakano-positive and dual-Nakano-positive for any $k\geq 0$.

Abstract:We study the holomorphic family of pairs {(X-t, E-t)} by the calculation of Kuranishi data on {E-t}, where each E-t is a holomorphic vector bundle over the compact complex manifold X-t. The splitting of holomorphic cotangent bundle over E-0 via any integrable connection decomposes the Kuranishi data into the horizontal part and the vertical part. The horizontal part is the Kursnishi data of base family {X-t}. When the vertical part is vanishing under the decomposition by a Nakano semi-positive Chern connection del, i.e. {(X-t, E-t)} is lifting from base family {X-t} via del, we get a infinitesimal extension of (partial derivative) over bar -closed bundle valued (n, q)-form by the recursive method.

Abstract:In this article we define generalized pairs $(X, B+\boldsymbol{\beta})$ where $X$ is an analytic variety and $\boldsymbol{\beta}$ is a b-(1,1) current. We then prove that almost all standard results of the MMP hold in this generality for compact Kähler varieties of dim $X\leq 3$. More specifically, we prove the cone theorem, existence of flips, existence of log terminal models, log canonical models and Mori fiber spaces, the geography of log canonical and log terminal models, etc.

Abstract:In this paper, we first show that Kollár's injectivity theorem on cohomologies holds for projective generalised pairs with mild singularities when the nef part of the generalised pair is b-abundant. Moreover, by applying the methods from complex analytic geometry, we show that the injectivity theorem holds for generalised Kawamata log terminal (g-klt) generalised pairs on projective surfaces without any extra conditions on the nef parts of the generalised pairs.

Abstract:We show that a nef line bundle on a proper scheme over an excellent base is semiample if and only if it is semiample after restricting to characteristic zero and to positive characteristic. In the process of the proof, we provide a generalisation to mixed characteristic of the fact that the perfection of the Picard functor in positive characteristic is a stack in groupoids for the h-topology.

Abstract:In this article we prove analogs of Kawamata's canonical bundle formula, Kawamata subadjunction and plt/lc inversion of adjunction for generalized pairs on Kaehler varieties. We also show that a conjecture of BDPPin dimension n-1 implies that the cone theorem holds for any n-dimensional Kaehler generalized klt pair. Along the way, we obtain more complete versions of some results due to Collins-Tosatti and Cao-Hoering.

Abstract:Given a complex-projective klt pair $(X, \Delta)$ with standard coefficients and such that $K_X + \Delta$ is ample, we determine necessary and sufficient conditions for the pair $(X, \Delta)$ to be uniformized by a bounded symmetric domain. As an application, we obtain characterizations of orbifold quotients of the polydisc and of the four classical irreducible bounded symmetric domains in terms of Miyaoka-Yau-type Chern equalities.

Abstract:For a partition $a$ and a vector bundle $E$ on a projective variety $X$ let $\mathcal{F}l_s(E)$ be the corresponding flag manifold. There is a line bundle $\it Q_a^s$ on $\mathcal{F}l_s(E)$ with $p:\mathcal{F}l_s(E)\to X $ and $\it p_*Q_a^s = \mathcal{S}_aE$. We prove, if $\mathcal{S}_aE $ is $k$-ample (in the sense of Sommese) then $\it Q_a^s$ is $k$-ample. For the inverse if $\it Q_a^s$ is $k$-ample, we prove that one of two the conditions of k-ampleness namely the cohomological vanishing is proved here but not yet the condition of semiamplenes of $\mathcal{S}_aE $ .

Abstract:In this article we show that if $(X, \Delta)$ is a log canonical compact Kähler threefold pair such that $K_X+\Delta$ is nef and the numerical dimension $\nu(X, K_X+\Delta)=2$, then $K_X+\Delta$ is semi-ample. This result combined with our previous work in <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="2201.01202" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/2201.01202">arXiv:2201.01202</a> shows that the log abundance holds for log canonical compact Kähler threefold pairs.

Abstract:In this paper, we prove the non-vanishing and some special cases of the abundance for log canonical threefold pairs over an algebraically closed field $k$ of characteristic $p > 3$. More precisely, we prove that if $(X,B)$ be a projective log canonical threefold pair over $k$ and $K_{X}+B$ is pseudo-effective, then $\kappa(K_{X}+B)\geq 0$, and if $K_{X}+B$ is nef and $\kappa(K_{X}+B)\geq 1$, then $K_{X}+B$ is semi-ample. As applications, we show that the log canonical rings of projective log canonical threefold pairs over $k$ are finitely generated and the abundance holds when the nef dimension $n(K_{X}+B)\leq 2$ or when the Albanese map $a_{X}:X\to \mathrm{Alb}(X)$ is non-trivial. Moreover, we prove that the abundance for klt threefold pairs over $k$ implies the abundance for log canonical threefold pairs over $k$.

Abstract:Let $\mathbb{K}$ be an algebraically closed field of characteristic $p>5$. We show the existence of minimal models for pseudo-effective NQC klt generalized pairs in dimension three over $\mathbb{K}$. As a consequence, we prove the termination of flips for pseudo-effective threefold NQC klt generalized pairs over $\mathbb{K}$. This provides a new proof on the termination of flips for pseudo-effective pairs over $\mathbb{K}$ without using the non-vanishing theorems. A key ingredient of our proof is the ACC for lc thresholds in dimension $\leq 3$ and the global ACC in dimension $\leq 2$ for generalized pairs over $\mathbb{K}$.

Abstract:We establish a Kollár-type gluing theory for NQC generalized log canonical pairs and use it to prove semi-ampleness results of NQC generalized pairs. As consequences, we prove the existence of flips for any NQC generalized log canonical pair, and show that NQC generalized log canonical singularities are Du Bois.
