Abstract:The mirror P=W conjecture, formulated by Harder-Katzarkov-Przyjalkowski, predicts a correspondence between weight and perverse filtrations in the context of mirror symmetry. In this paper, we revisit this conjecture through the lens of mirror symmetry for a Fano pair $(X,D)$, where $X$ is a smooth Fano variety and $D$ is a simple normal crossing divisor. We introduce its mirror object as a multi-potential analogue of a Landau-Ginzburg (LG) model, which we call the hybrid LG model. This model is expected to capture the mirrors of all irreducible components of $D$. We study the topological aspects, particularly the perverse filtration, and the Hodge theory of hybrid LG models, building upon the work of Katzarkov-Kontsevich-Pantev. As an application, we discover an interesting upper bound on the multiplicativity of the perverse filtration for a hybrid LG model. Additionally, we propose a relative version of the homological mirror symmetry conjecture and explain how the mirror P=W conjecture naturally emerges from it.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The problem that this paper attempts to solve is about a specific conjecture in mirror symmetry - the Mirror P = W Conjecture. Specifically, this conjecture predicts the correspondence between the weight filtration and the perverse filtration in the context of mirror symmetry. The paper re - examines this conjecture by studying Fano pairs (X, D), where X is a smooth Fano manifold and D is a simple normal crossing divisor. The author introduces a new model - the hybrid Landau - Ginzburg model - to capture the mirrors of all the irreducible components of D. By studying the topological properties and Hodge theory of this model, the paper explores the perverse filtration of the hybrid LG model and proposes a version of the relative homological mirror symmetry conjecture, which naturally leads to the Mirror P = W Conjecture. The main contributions of the paper are as follows: 1. **Introduction of the hybrid LG model**: In order to better understand the mirror symmetry of the divisor D containing multiple irreducible components, the author proposes the concept of the hybrid LG model. This model can capture the mirror objects of each irreducible component. 2. **Study of Hodge theory**: Through the study of the Hodge theory of the hybrid LG model, the author explores the topological properties of these models, especially the perverse filtration. 3. **Proposal of the relative homological mirror symmetry conjecture**: Based on the study of the hybrid LG model, the author proposes a relative version of the homological mirror symmetry conjecture and explains how the Mirror P = W Conjecture can be naturally derived from this conjecture. In summary, by introducing new mathematical tools and models, this paper aims to deepen the understanding of the relationship between the weight filtration and the perverse filtration in mirror symmetry.
