Abstract:Phu introduced the idea of rough convergence of sequences in a normed linear space. Here using the idea of Phu we have brought the idea of rough convergence of sequences in a S-metric space and discussed some of its basic properties.

Abstract:Mlaiki et al.\cite{MLA} introduced the idea of controlled metric type spaces, which is a new extension of $b$-metric spaces with addition of a controlled function $\alpha(x,y)$ of the right-hand side of the $b$-triangle inequality. Phu \cite{PHU} introduced the idea of rough convergence of sequences in a normed linear space. In this paper we have brought the idea of rough convergence of sequences in a controlled metric type space. We have proved several results associated with rough limit sets and some relevant results associated with such convergence.

We have investigated some of their basic properties. We have defined statistical Cauchyness and statistical boundedness of sequences and then some results related these ideas have been studied. Abstract:In this paper, using the concept of natural density, we have introduced the notion of rough statistical convergence which is an extension of the notion of rough convergence in a partial metric space. We have defined the set of rough statistical limit points of a sequence in a partial metric space and proved that this set is closed and bounded. Finally, we have found out the relationship between the set of statistical cluster points and the set of rough statistical limit points of sequences in a partial metric space.

Abstract:This study?s main goal is to define approximate statistical convergence in spaces with probabilistic norms. The idea of convergence in random 2-normed space is more generalized as a result of our demonstrations of some fundamental features and examples of convergence in linear spaces with norms. More specifically, we demonstrate the findings for sets of statistical limit points and sets of cluster points of approximate statistically convergent sequences in these spaces. Additionally, we extend the idea of rough convergence by applying the idea of ideals, which automatically expands the original ideas of rough statistical convergence and rough convergence. We define the collection of rough ideal limit points and demonstrate a number of outcomes related to this collection.

Abstract:Certain notions of convergence of sequences of functions such as convergence pointwise, uniform and parts (compact sets or bounded sets) come from suitable topological functional spaces [1]. Under certain conditions these topologies involved are metrizable, which in an advantage since there is an extensive theory on convergence in metric spaces. However, the case of pointwise convergence is delicate, since it is shown that under certain hypothesis this form of convergence of sequences of functions is not equivalent to convergence in metric.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider a fixed metric space (possibly an oriented Riemannian manifold with boundary) with an increasing sequence of distance functions and a uniform upper bound on diameter. When the metric space endowed with the pointwise limit of these distances is compact, then there is uniform and Gromov-Hausdorff (GH) convergence to this limit. When the metric space also has an integral current structure of uniformly bounded total mass (as is true for an oriented Riemannian manifold with boundary that has a uniform bound on total volume), we prove volume preserving intrinsic flat convergence to a subset of the GH limit whose closure is the whole GH limit. We provide a review of all notions and have a list of open questions at the end. Dedicated to Xiaochun Rong.

Abstract:We study the Gromov-Hausdorff convergence of metric pairs and metric tuples and prove the equivalence of different natural definitions of this concept. We also prove embedding, completeness and compactness theorems in this setting. Finally, we get a relative version of Fukaya's theorem about quotient spaces under Gromov--Hausdorff equivariant convergence and a version of Grove-Petersen--Wu's finiteness theorem for stratified spaces.

In the present paper, we introduce a Gauss-type proximal point algorithm for solving the inclusion problem 0 is an element of T(x). We establish the convergence criteria of the Gauss-type proximal point algorithm, which guarantees the existence and the convergence of any sequence generated by the algorithm under mild conditions. More precisely, semilocal and local convergence of the Gauss-type proximal point method are analyzed when T is metrically regular.

Abstract:In the present paper, we set forth with the new notion of rough -deferred statistical convergence of order in gradual normed linear spaces (GNLS). We prove some fundamental features and implication relations of this convergence method. Also, we put forward the notion of gradual rough -deferred statistical limit set of order and prove some of its properties such as closedness and convexity. We prove that the gradual rough -deferred statistical limit set also plays a crucial role in the gradually -deferred statistical boundedness of order of a sequence in a GNLS. We end up proving a necessary and sufficient condition for the rough -deferred statistical convergence of order of a sequence in GNLS. Significance of the work in a broad context: Summability theory and convergence of sequences have many applications in mathematical analysis. The study of the convergence of sequences in GNLS has made little progress and is still in its early stages. In this paper, we introduce rough deferred statistical convergence of sequences in GNLS which provides a new direction to the researchers.

Abstract:In this paper, a metric on $S_b$-metric space analogous to the Hausdorff metric has been introduced and some basic properties are obtained on multi-valued $S_b$-metric space. Further, the fundamental multi-valued contraction of Nadler(1962) has been extended to the $S_b$-metric space setting, and two results have been established. The entire study is supported by suitable examples.

Abstract:We discuss the approximation method of finding a common fixed point of two certain mappings defined on a Banach space. This paper deals with three modes of convergence, namely, weak, strong, and △‐convergences in the presence of the uniform convexity of the norm. It is worth mentioning that the △‐convergence which is closely connected with the weak convergence is discussed without assuming the Opial's condition. Our results not only generalize the results recently announced by Garodia et al. but also rectify a gap in their paper. Finally, some concrete numerical examples are shown that our results are genuine generalizations of a number of results in the literature.

Abstract:It is well-known that Markov inequality, Chebyshev inequality, Hölder's inequality, and Minkowski inequality are important and useful results in probability theory. This paper presents the analogous inequalities in fuzzy set theory and rough set theory. In addition, sequence convergence plays an extremely important role in the fundamental theory of mathematics. This paper presents four types of convergence concept of fuzzy/rough sequence: convergence almost surely, convergence in credibility/trust, convergence in mean, and convergence in distribution. Some mathematical properties of those new convergence concepts are also given.

Abstract:One of the main obstacle to study compactness in topological spaces via ideals was the definition of ideal convergence of subsequences as in the existing literature according to which subsequence of an ideal convergent sequence may fail to be ideal convergent with respect to same ideal. This obstacle has been get removed in this article and notions of I compactness as well as I star compactness of topological spaces have been introduced and studied to some extent. Involvement of I nonthin subsequences in the definition of I and I star compactness make them different from compactness even in metric spaces.

Abstract:In this paper, we first prove that any power quasi-symmetry of two metric spaces induces a rough quasi-isometry between their infinite hyperbolic cones. Second, we prove that for a complete metric space $Z$, there exists a point $\omega$ in the Gromov boundary of its infinite hyperbolic cone such that $Z$ can be seen as the Gromov boundary relative to $\omega$ of its infinite hyperbolic cone. Third, we prove that for a visual Gromov hyperbolic metric space $X$ and a Gromov boundary point $\omega$, $X$ is roughly similar to the infinite hyperbolic cone of its Gromov boundary relative to $\omega$. These are the generalizations of Theorem 7.4, Theorem 8.1 and Theorem 8.2 in [3] since the underlying spaces are not assumed to be bounded and the hyperbolic cones are infinite.

Abstract:We study equivalent descriptions of the vague, weak, setwise and total-variation (TV) convergence of sequences of Borel measures on metrizable and non-metrizable topological spaces in this work. On metrizable spaces, we give some equivalent conditions on the vague convergence of sequences of measures following Kallenberg, and some equivalent conditions on the TV convergence of sequences of measures following Feinberg-Kasyanov-Zgurovsky. There is usually some hierarchy structure on the equivalent descriptions of convergence in different modes, but not always. On non-metrizable spaces, we give examples to show that these conditions are seldom enough to guarantee any convergence of sequences of measures. There are some remarks on the attainability of the TV distance and more modes of sequential convergence at the end of the work.
