Abstract:We present an explicit description of the Hopf 2-cocycles involved in the classification of finite dimensional pointed and copointed Hopf algebras over the symmetric group on three letters. We determine which cocycles are exponentials of Hochschild 2-cocycles and which ones are pure.

Abstract:We introduce a Hopf algebroid associated to a proper Lie group action on a smooth manifold. We prove that the cyclic cohomology of this Hopf algebroid is equal to the de Rham cohomology of invariant differential forms. When the action is cocompact, we develop a generalized Hodge theory for the de Rham cohomology of invariant differential forms. We prove that every cyclic cohomology class of the Hopf algebroid is represented by a generalized harmonic form. This implies that the space of cyclic cohomology of the Hopf algebroid is finite dimensional. As an application of the techniques developed in this paper, we discuss properties of the Euler characteristic for a proper cocompact action.

Abstract:For each $\ell\geq 1$ and $\lambda,\mu\in\Bbbk$, we study the representations of a family of pointed Hopf algebras $\mathcal{A}_{\lambda,\mu}$. These arise as Hopf cocycle deformations of the graded algebra $\mathcal{FK}_3\#\Bbbk \mathbb{G}_{3,\ell}$, where $\mathcal{FK}_3$ is the Fomin-Kirillov algebra and $\mathbb{G}_{3,\ell}$ is a given non-abelian finite group.

Abstract:In[3]and[6],the Hopf algebra structures of path algebra and path coalgebra on a Hopf quiver and a covering quiver respect to a weight sequence respectively were introduced independently.The main aim of this paper is to show the dually one-to-one correspondent relations between their structures(see Theorems 2.1 and 2.4).As applications,firstly,the authors obtain some important results about the Hopf algebra structure on the quotient of path algebra on a cycle;then,they prove that the Sweedler's fourdimensional Hopf algebra H4 is not only quasi-triangular but also co-quasi-triangular.Lastly,they characterize the graded automorphism group of the Hopf algebras on the path algebra of a Schurian covering quiver, according to that on the path coalgebra of a Schurian Hopf quiver.

Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to use Clifford monoids to define weak Hopf quivers and to construct the corresponding class of weak Hopf algebras, i.e., the semilattice of graded weak Hopf algebras which were found to be useful in obtaining a regular R-matrix of a quantum double without a quasi-triangular structure. We define weak Hopf quivers and classify the semilattice of graded weak Hopf algebra structures over path coalgebras using weak Hopf quivers. This gives, precisely, a generalization of the classification of the graded weak Hopf algebra structures over path coalgebras using such quivers.

Abstract:We show that for a braided Hopf algebra in the category of comodules over a cosemisimple coquasitriangular Hopf algebra, the Hochschild cohomological dimension, the left and right global dimensions and the projective dimensions of the trivial left and right module all coincide. We also provide convenient criteria for smoothness and the twisted Calabi-Yau property for such braided Hopf algebras (without the cosemisimplicity assumption on $H$), in terms of properties of the trivial <a class="link-external link-http" href="http://module.These" rel="external noopener nofollow">this http URL</a> generalize a well-known result in the case of ordinary Hopf algebras. As an illustration, we study the case of the coordinate algebra on the two-parameter braided quantum group $\textrm{SL}_{2}$.

Abstract:We show that for any bimodule M and bicomodule C of a Hopf algebra H with involutive antipode, Hochschild complex C*(H,M) and C*(C,H) are cocyclic K-modules. Their para-cocyclic operators are compatible in Gerstenhaber-Schack bicomplex of a Hopf algebra morphism phi:A -> B, which is a combination of Hochschild complex C*(A,B-circle times q) and coHochschild complex C*(A(circle times p),B) for any p,q >= 0, and make the bicomplex into a cylindrical K-module under appropriate conditions. From this bicomplex, we get a cocyclic structure of the diagonal complex. With these cocyclic operators, the operadic structure of the diagonal complex is cyclic, so that the Gerstenhaber algebra structure on the diagonal cohomology evolves into a Batalin-Vilkovisky algebra. Hence we obtain the structure of Gerstenhaber-Schack cohomology of phi, which is isomorphic to the diagonal cohomology. Our results can be applied to group algebra KG and arbitrary G-graded Hopf algebra A. Let phi be epsilon(A) (resp. u(B), id(A)). Then we can get the Gerstenhaber structure on Hochschild cohomology C*(A,K) (resp. Adams Cobar construction of B, Gerstenhaber-Schack cohomology of A). Moreover, the Gerstenhaber structure operators of epsilon(A) and u(B) commute with composition.

Abstract:Hochschild cohomology is crucial for understanding deformation theory. In <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="2304.10223" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/2304.10223">arXiv:2304.10223</a>, we have computed the Hochschild cohomology for gentle algebras of punctured surfaces. The construction of that paper is rather implicit and fails if the punctured surface has only a single puncture. In the present note, we supplement the earlier method by providing an explicit construction of Hochschild cocycles which also succeeds in the case of a single puncture.

Abstract:We construct an invertible normalised 2 cocycle on the Ehresmann Schauenburg bialgebroid of a cleft Hopf Galois extension under the condition that the corresponding Hopf algebra is cocommutative and the image of the unital cocycle corresponding to this cleft Hopf Galois extension belongs to the centre of the coinvariant subalgebra. Moreover, we show that any Ehresmann Schauenburg bialgebroid of this kind is isomorphic to a 2-cocycle twist of the Ehresmann Schauenburg bialgebroid corresponding to a Hopf Galois extension without cocycle, where comodule algebra is an ordinary smash product of the coinvariant subalgebra and the Hopf algebra (i.e. $\C(B/#_{\sigma}H, H)\simeq \C(B\#H, H)^{\tilde{\sigma}}$). We also study the theory in the case of a Galois object where the base is trivial but without requiring the Hopf algebra to be cocommutative.

Abstract:This article studies the construction of Hopf algebras $H$ acting on a given algebra $K$ in terms of algebra morphisms $ \sigma \colon K \rightarrow \mathrm{M}_n(K)$. The approach is particularly suited for controlling whether these actions restrict to a given subalgebra $B$ of $K$, whether $H$ is pointed, and whether these actions are compatible with a given $*$-structure on $K$. The theory is applied to the field $K=k(t)$ of rational functions containing the coordinate ring $B=k[t^2,t^3]$ of the cusp. An explicit example is described in detail and shown to define a quantum homogeneous space structure on the cusp, which, unlike the previously known one, extends from regular to rational functions.

Abstract:We give a series of infinite dimensional noncommutative and noncocommutative pointed Hopf algebras, which are Artin-Schelter Gorenstein Hopf algebras with injective dimensions 3. Radford's Hopf algebra and Gelaki's Hopf algebra are homomorphic images of these Hopf algebras. We determine the irreducible representations of them. We describe the Grothendieck rings of them. We obtain that two non-isomorphic Hopf algebras could have isomorphic Grothendieck rings.

Abstract:We describe all finite-dimensional pointed Hopf algebras whose infinitesimal braiding is a fixed Yetter-Drinfeld module decomposed as the sum of two simple objects: a point and the one of transpositions of the symmetric group in three letters. We give a presentation by generators and relations of the corresponding Nichols algebra and show that Andruskiewitsch-Schneider Conjecture holds for this kind of pointed Hopf algebras.

Abstract:We apply Majid's transmutation procedure to Hopf algebra maps $H \to \mathbb C[T]$, where $T$ is a compact abelian group, and explain how this construction gives rise to braided Hopf algebras over quotients of $T$ by subgroups that are cocentral in $H$. This allows us to unify and generalize a number of recent constructions of braided compact quantum groups, starting from the braided $SU_q(2)$ quantum group, and describe their bosonizations.

Abstract:In this paper, we prove that a non-semisimple Hopf algebra H of dimension 4p with p an odd prime over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero is pointed provided H contains more than two group-like elements. In particular, we prove that non-semisimple Hopf algebras of dimensions 20, 28 and 44 are pointed or their duals are pointed, and this completes the classification of Hopf algebras in these dimensions.

Abstract:This paper is a first step toward the full description of a family of Hopf algebras whose coradical is isomorphic to a semisimple Hopf algebra K n , n an odd positive integer, obtained by a cocentral abelian cleft extension. We describe the simple Yetter-Drinfeld modules, compute the fusion rules and determine the finite-dimensional Nichols algebras for some of them. In particular, we give the description of the finite-dimensional Nichols algebras over simple modules over K 3 . This includes a family of 12-dimensional Nichols algebras {Bξ} depending on 3rd roots of unity. Here, B1 is isomorphic to the well-known Fomin-Kirillov algebra, and Bξ≃Bξ2 as graded algebras but B1 is not isomorphic to Bξ as algebra for ξ≠1 . As a byproduct we obtain new Hopf algebras of dimension 216.

Abstract:For an algebra B with an action of a Hopf algebra H we establish the pairing between even equivariant cyclic cohomology and equivariant K-theory for B. We then extend this formalism to compact quantum group actions and show that equivariant cyclic cohomology is a target space for the equivariant Chern character of equivariant summable Fredholm modules. We prove an analogue of Julg's theorem relating equivariant K-theory to ordinary K-theory of the C*-algebra crossed product, and characterize equivariant vector bundles on quantum homogeneous spaces.

Abstract:We study the algebraic structure and representation theory of the Hopf algebras ${}_J\mathcal{O}(G)_J$ when $G$ is an affine algebraic unipotent group over $\mathbb{C}$ with $\mathrm{dim}(G) = n$ and $J$ is a Hopf $2$-cocycle for $G$. The cotriangular Hopf algebras ${}_J\mathcal{O}(G)_J$ have the same coalgebra structure as $\mathcal{O}(G)$ but a deformed multiplication. We show that they are involutive $n$-step iterated Hopf Ore extensions of derivation type. The 2-cocycle $J$ has as support a closed subgroup $T$ of $G$, and ${}_J\mathcal{O}(G)_J$ is a crossed product $S \#_{\sigma}U(\mathfrak{t})$, where $\mathfrak{t}$ is the Lie algebra of $T$ and $S$ is a deformed coideal subalgebra. The simple ${}_J\mathcal{O}(G)_J$-modules are stratified by a family of factor algebras ${}_J\mathcal{O}(Z_g)_J$, parametrised by the double cosets $TgT$ of $T$ in $G$. The finite dimensional simple ${}_J\mathcal{O}(G)_J$-modules are all 1-dimensional, so form a group $\Gamma$, which we prove to be an explicitly determined closed subgroup of $G$. A selection of examples illustrate our results.
